New to Grow
My name is Susanne Neal, and I understand how life experiences and transitions can shape the way we see ourselves and move through the world. I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns and coping strategies developed earlier in life that may no longer be serving them. Together, we identify meaningful goals, build insight, and develop healthier ways to manage challenges and create lasting change.
During the first session, we will get to know each other through an intake process and discuss any background information you feel may be helpful for me to better understand your experiences and needs. We will also work together to develop a treatment plan aligned with your personal goals and what you hope to gain from counseling services.
My greatest strengths include my ability to relate to a wide range of lived experiences, grounded in my own capacity to overcome challenges and find peace and manageability in my life. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can feel heard, supported, and free to share openly.
I work with adults ages 18+ experiencing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, grief, and self-esteem challenges. I enjoy working with individuals ready to take action toward meaningful change. I believe past experiences influence present functioning, and by uncovering root concerns, we can develop coping skills, insight, and goals that support healthier patterns, emotional healing, and lasting personal growth.

I identify as
Trauma Informed Care
I am a trauma-informed clinician with experience providing care in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. In my practice, I utilize trauma-informed principles by recognizing the impact trauma can have on emotional, behavioral, and relational functioning. I prioritize establishing trust, emotional safety, collaboration, and client empowerment throughout the therapeutic process. I work at the client’s pace, using interventions that promote regulation, resilience, and healthy coping while remaining mindful to avoid retraumatization.
