I work with clients to better understand recurring patterns, develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others, and create meaningful, lasting changes that fit their individual goals and circumstances.
Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and Colorado with 18 years of experience. I have worked extensively with young and middle-aged adults with various concerns including depression, anxiety, substance abuse and PTSD/trauma to eating disorders, relationship challenges and academic & career transition issues. You can expect a safe and non-judgmental space to share your concerns with a supportive, active listener, if you choose to work with me. We can work collaboratively towards identifying concrete solutions that address your individual needs. I am passionate about the mind-body-spirit connection in both my professional and personal life. I am an avid runner and former college athlete, practice regular meditation for my own stress management and personal growth, and I spend lots of time in nature and the outdoors with my family (husband and two boys aged 9 and 13) in all seasons kayaking, camping, hiking, and skiing/snowboarding.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, past trauma, and co-occurring substance use, especially those who want to better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. I’m particularly well-suited for clients who are motivated for change—even if they’re unsure where to begin—and are open to a collaborative, skills-based approach to therapy.
In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, such as catastrophizing or all-or-nothing thinking, and replace them with more balanced, realistic perspectives. I incorporate techniques like cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and practical skill-building to support lasting change. I also utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps clients process traumatic experiences and reduce the emotional distress tied to those memories. This approach has been especially effective in helping clients experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and substance use challenges achieve meaningful, lasting relief.
I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges for the past 30 years. It’s truly an honor to support people through difficult times and be part of their journey toward healing and growth. I’ve supported individuals working through trauma, addiction, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain—often carrying pain they’ve held for a long time. Together, we begin a journey of healing and change, uncovering what’s been holding them back and building a path forward that feels meaningful, empowering, and aligned with who they truly are. My approach is warm and grounded in evidence-based practices. I strive to help you feel safe, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. The work we do together can help you reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

We are our own worst enemies, and this wreaks havoc on our self-esteem.

My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support.
Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them.
My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.
I’m a trauma therapist and addictions counselor; this is where my heart is. I have the unique ability to see beneath the stains in a person. I can help you heal as far as you’re willing to go. I am a therapist for everyone else. I have a laid-back style. I can treat most mental health needs. I have two master's degrees, post-grad endorsements, but more importantly, I have lived experience. I enjoy working with people who are navigating the heavy weight of past experiences, persistent self-doubt, or the feeling of being constantly on edge. If you often find yourself stuck in overthinking or out-running that inner critic, or just trying to keep your head above water, I’m here to help. My approach is grounded, collaborative, and entirely free of judgment. I don’t view myself as an expert diagnosing you from across the room; rather, I am a teammate walking beside you. We will go at your exact pace, focusing heavily on how your body and mind are responding to stress, while building a toolbox that actually fits your life.

Hi, I'm Chelsea, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for working with individuals navigating anxiety, identity, and life's many transitions. I believe that real, lasting change doesn't come from a technique or a worksheet, it comes from the relationship we build together.
Research consistently shows that the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful predictor of meaningful growth. That's why I'm deeply committed to creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and never judged. A place where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're stepping into something new, feeling stuck in place, or simply trying to find your footing, I'm here to help you navigate every step of the way.
My approach is collaborative at its core. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions, because you are not a one-size-fits-all person. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, uncover your strengths, and work toward the kind of change that actually lasts at a pace that feels right for you.
If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to connect.
Hello, I’m Denise, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience serving military personnel and their families. As a veteran’s wife of almost 38 years, I deeply understand both the visible and invisible challenges that come with military life. My approach combines clinical expertise with heartfelt understanding, creating a safe space where healing begins and hope is restored.
In therapy with me, there’s no judgment, no fluff, and no “one-size-fits-all” solutions. We’ll start where you are whether that’s putting out fires in your daily life or addressing deeper wounds that keep pulling you back. I combine Brainspotting, practical tools, and direct conversation to help you manage today’s struggles while healing the past. My focus areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and domestic violence. I also work with therapists, first responders, and others carrying the weight of the world.

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with more than 15 years of experience in community mental health. I have worked across a wide range of settings, including outpatient therapy, crisis services, and intensive community programs, and have supported people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. In addition to providing therapy, I have supervised clinical teams and led mental health programs, giving me a broad perspective on what truly helps people heal.
I offer individual therapy to adults.
I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and am committed to creating a space where clients of all identities feel respected, understood, and safe to be themselves. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a steady place where you can be honest about what you’re going through—without judgment or pressure to be anything other than yourself. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and helping clients develop practical tools while also making space for deeper healing and self-understanding.
Hi, I'm Shelly — a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping people find their footing when life feels overwhelming. My journey in mental health began decades ago in music therapy, working in psychiatric settings where I first witnessed the remarkable capacity people have to heal when given the right support and a safe space. That foundation shapes the way I work to this day — with attunement, creativity, and a deep belief in each person's capacity to heal.
I specialize in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and addiction recovery, using evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build real, lasting skills rather than just temporary relief. I have a particular heart for neurodivergent individuals — including those with ADHD and autism — who may have spent years feeling misunderstood. You do fit — sometimes it just takes the right space to discover that.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Good therapy isn't just about insight — it's about leaving each session with something you can actually use. I'll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels right, and work hard to make sure our time together is meaningful.
For clients who desire it, I welcome the integration of faith and spirituality into our work. I believe healing touches the whole person — mind, heart, and spirit — and that for many people, faith isn't separate from their healing but central to it. I hold that with care and without pressure.
Whether you're navigating a specific struggle or carrying a weight you've held for too long, you don't have to do it alone. Reaching out is the hardest step — and I'm really glad you're here.
I'd love the opportunity to connect.
With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a deep understanding of the therapeutic process and a strong commitment to helping individuals thrive. I have served in a wide range of clinical and leadership roles-therapist, clinical supervisor, clinical director, and adjunct professor-and have worked in diverse settings such as group homes, outpatient clinics, mental health centers, schools, and most recently, private practice. Licensed as an LPC in Colorado and an LMHC in Florida, I am committed to providing effective, compassionate care that is both present-focused and future-oriented—helping you move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.
Welcome.
I work with adults who feel weighed down by sadness, stress, or disconnection—even if they can’t always explain why. Many of the people I support are parents who want to show up with patience and love for their children but find themselves triggered by old wounds or past patterns.
Together, we explore what it means to care for both the child in front of you and the child within you. My approach is somatic and creative, weaving in body awareness, journaling, expressive arts, nature, and reading books.
If you’re seeking healing from attachment wounds, longing to feel lighter, or simply hoping to feel more at home in your own skin, therapy can offer the safe space to begin.
Hi I'm McKenzie!
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with several years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan through depression, anxiety, life transitions, severe and persistent mental illnesses, and other disorders in a variety of different settings such as residential treatment, community mental health programs, school-based programs, and outpatient settings. These experiences have shaped my holistic, trauma-informed approach is care. My approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental , drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I work especially well with teens and adults who feel misunderstood or out of place in more traditional settings.
Therapy should be a place where you can show up as your truest self. I create a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can show up as you are. Our work is collaborative and centered on what feels authentic and meaningful to you.
I’m a trauma‑informed clinician who blends evidence‑based approaches with a warm, relational style. My work centers on helping clients understand their inner world with compassion, build practical skills for regulation, and move toward lives that feel aligned with their values. I draw from CBT, ACT, and neurodivergent‑affirming frameworks, and I aim to create a space that feels steady, collaborative, and genuinely safe for exploration and growth.

My journey began with a volunteer opportunity working with children in the care of the state, and expanded from there. Work experience ranges from acute inpatient care to my present career in outpatient care. Being a military veteran, my most recent career experience has been providing therapy to active duty, veterans and their families in a community setting. My dedication to this chosen field is driven by a deep desire to empower others, facilitate healing, and promote lasting positive change in the lives of those I've had the privilege of working with.
I'm a Certified EMDR therapist and PMH-C clinician providing specialized trauma therapy in Arizona, Colorado, and Washington for first responders and individuals navigating perinatal mental health challenges, PTSD, and chronic stress. Many of my clients appear fine on the outside — capable, put-together, managing it all — while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck underneath.
My practice focuses on treating PTSD, birth trauma, postpartum depression and anxiety, religious trauma, and occupational stress using EMDR and evidence-based, trauma-informed care. I understand how trauma and nervous system dysregulation can leave you feeling constantly on edge, emotionally reactive, or disconnected from yourself — whether that shows up through the demands of first responder work, the transition into parenthood, or experiences further back.
Through EMDR, I help clients reduce triggers, process unresolved trauma, regulate their nervous system, and experience deep, lasting healing — so you can feel stable, confident, and like yourself again.
I identify as a Queer, Xicana therapist. I am a step-mom to twin, teenage boys. I specialize in supporting individuals through healing journeys of trauma, anxiety, and overwhelm. I do this by offering a safe, compassionate, culturally-sensitive approach. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by us all, I work to create a safe space for healing, empowerment, and growth. My goal is to support individuals in navigating their experiences, reclaiming their strength, and building resilience for a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Specializing in the challenges of aging — from preparing emotionally and practically for retirement, building back after the loss of a spouse, to navigating the weight of chronic illness in yourself, a spouse, or an aging parent. I am a trained dementia therapist, and certified by the Center for Mental Health and Aging. Let me help you find your footing after a dementia diagnosis and navigate that journey as a patient or a caregiver.
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or disconnected from yourself? You’re not alone. I help clients navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions with compassion and insight. My goal is to support you in feeling more grounded, understood, and empowered to move forward in your life.
My approach is transpersonal, mindfulness-based, and person-centered. I focus on helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom while strengthening the mind-body connection. Together, we explore patterns, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels safe and supportive. I tailor therapy to your unique needs, integrating mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and relational work to support deep and lasting healing.
I’m Dr. Eunice Joo, a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps individuals and couples gain deeper clarity about their thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns. My goal is to help people understand the underlying beliefs and assumptions that often shape their reactions, conflicts, and life decisions. When these patterns become clearer, people are better able to make healthier and more meaningful choices for their lives.
As an immigrant myself, I understand the unique cultural challenges that many people experience while living between different cultures and value systems. The process of navigating identity, expectations, and belonging can often create confusion, inner conflict, and emotional stress. In my work, I help clients sort through these experiences so they can develop a clearer sense of identity, regain confidence in their values, and learn how to engage with different cultures without losing their own sense of self.
My counseling approach focuses on identifying distorted thinking patterns and emotional triggers that may keep people stuck in cycles of confusion, self-doubt, or relational conflict. By helping clients recognize these patterns, I support them in expanding their psychological perspective and developing practical ways to respond more thoughtfully rather than react impulsively.
For clients who value faith, I also offer Christian counseling that integrates biblical wisdom, prayer, and personal faith reflection with sound psychological insight. My goal is to help people experience healing, restore their sense of dignity and purpose, and move toward a more grounded and meaningful life.

Welcome! I’m Marianne, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Taking the step to start therapy can feel empowering, confusing, or a bit scary all at once. Because of that, my top priority is to provide a warm, relaxed, and completely judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.

My practice focuses on using my training and experience to help people get out of the rut where they are stuck. In particular, I engage with people in ways that unlocks their greatest strengths and use those abilities to find relief. Most of us are unaware of how capable we are because we repeat what we know instead of learning something new. You'll find your meetings with me refreshing! I have helped patients change the way they look at themselves.

Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, overthinking, performance pressure, trauma, or feeling like their mind never fully turns off.I help high-functioning adults who want more than temporary coping—they want to understand why they feel stuck and create lasting change.

Whether you are moving through loss, adjusting to motherhood, wrestling with faith, or trying to find your footing in a season of uncertainty, you do not have to navigate it without support. If you are looking for a space that is thoughtful, compassionate, and deeply attuned to your experience, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
I am Kaneka Hall, a licensed clinical social worker. I have over 13 years of experience in various settings and various populations including military/veteran, children, adults as well as the geriatric population in community and hospital settings including long-term care/nursing homes. I specialized in disorders such as anxiety, depression and ADHD as well as situational challenges such as family conflict, relationship and peer challenges, life transitions, and religious and cultural challenges.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in helping individuals manage depression, anxiety, and life’s challenges. My approach combines evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing with empathy and understanding to create a safe, supportive space for growth. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to identify goals, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. My goal is to empower you to feel more confident, resilient, and hopeful as you move toward the life you want.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and the owner of Thrive Counseling & Wellness, a virtual private practice dedicated to helping individuals find healing, resilience, and renewed hope. For more than a decade, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, and life's unexpected challenges.
My passion for this work comes from a deep belief that every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I know that many people carry invisible struggles while appearing to have everything together on the outside. Creating a space where clients feel safe enough to be authentic, vulnerable, and fully themselves is at the heart of my practice.
I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are while helping them identify practical tools for lasting change. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and EMDR, allowing me to tailor treatment to each individual's unique experiences and goals. I have a special passion for supporting individuals living with chronic illness, chronic pain, high-functioning anxiety, depression, and the emotional impact of medical trauma.
I believe therapy is about more than reducing symptom; it is about helping people reconnect with themselves, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling. It is truly an honor to earn my clients' trust and to witness the courage, growth, and resilience they discover along the way.
