Hello, I’m Sascha, If you’re here, you’ve already taken an important step toward prioritizing your mental health. Beginning therapy can bring up a mix of emotions...empowerment, uncertainty, even hesitation—and all of that is valid. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes work in county-based services, nonprofit mental health, foster care, and school settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals across a wide range of needs and life circumstances. I believe that people generally have an internal sense of what they need and where they want to go, but at times can feel stuck or unsure how to move forward. My role is to help you gain clarity around what may be contributing to that feeling and to work collaboratively with you to develop practical, meaningful ways to navigate challenges. Life stressors such as relationship dynamics, limited support systems, past experiences, and difficulties with emotional regulation can all impact our ability to function in the ways we want. In our work together, I aim to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore these areas and move toward greater stability, insight, and fulfillment.

Exhausted by the way you think about yourself? We are often (if not always) our own worst enemies. Whether this pattern has caused you problems with guilt, shame, anxiety, depression, addiction or you name it - the starting point is generally the same. When we embark on the project of therapy you will be asked to put your painful thoughts and feelings into words. As the process unfolds, the strength and fervor used to overthink and condemn yourself will become accessible to use productively in reaching your goals.

Hello, I’m Ritika Kaur, a California-based Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #101199). In my psychotherapy practice, I provide a compassionate, client-centered environment where healing can begin. My path into the mental health field began with a simple goal to help people navigate hard times and find fulfillment. After earning my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from National University in 2011, I spent several years working in community mental health. This role gave me valuable experience in providing evidence-based care to a wide range of individuals. I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California in 2017, and I remain dedicated to helping my clients build resilience and well-being. I support clients facing mild to moderate mental health challenges, including anxiety, stress, relationship issues, grief, family and parenting stress, and major life transitions. During our initial meeting, we will discuss your specific needs. If I determine that your situation requires support outside my area of expertise, I will provide you with referrals and recommendations to ensure you receive the care you need. While I am happy to support you in other ways, I do not provide disability documentation, medical leave paperwork, or ESA letters. If you require these specific forms or legal documentation, I recommend consulting with a provider who specializes in those assessments. For new clients: Please ensure all intake documents are completed prior to our session. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a smooth start to our work together.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified in Perinatal Mental Health, I specialize in supporting women through the emotional complexities of the perinatal period. My approach is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care and guided by cultural humility, recognizing that every person's experiences, values, and family story are unique. Alongside my professional training, I bring lived experience as a mother, which deepens my understanding of the joys, vulnerabilities, and profound life changes that can accompany pregnancy and parenthood. While every journey is different, I understand how overwhelming this season can feel and strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Motherhood can be one of life's most meaningful transitions, but it can also bring unexpected challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, identity shifts, relationship changes, and feelings of isolation. Whether you are trying to conceive, navigating pregnancy, adjusting to life after birth, or coping with pregnancy or infant loss, you don't have to face it alone. I approach therapy through a non-pathologizing, strengths-based lens, believing that many emotional struggles during the perinatal period are understandable responses to significant life transitions rather than personal failures. Therapy is a collaborative process where we can explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion, strengthen your coping skills, reconnect with your sense of self, and build confidence as you move forward. My goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and supported as you navigate this chapter with greater resilience, self-compassion, and hope.

Hello. I am a licensed social worker in California. I began practicing in the mental health/behavioral health field in 2011. I originally was licensed in Maryland in 2015 but then returned to California in 2016. Since starting in the field, I have worked with individuals ranging in age from 4 years old to 75 years old; most experience working with individuals between the ages of 10 and 35. I have experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, depression, anxiety, parenting problems, and relationship issues. I am an ally of the LGBTQI community and can provide a safe, telehealth space for them. Unfortunately, at this time, I cannot accommodate individuals seeking letters for emotional support animals or those mandated by the court or legal system for therapy. With that said, my goal in being a counselor, is to assist my clients in meeting their identified treatment needs. I am flexible and willing to do whatever I need to do to assist you and help you in any way that I can. If when viewing my profile, you feel as though I am a good fit, but my schedule does not meet your scheduling needs, please feel free to send me a message as I may be able to fit you in at a different time. I was a teacher for many years, then went for my masters in social work. Life has many twists and turns. Sometimes we can feel off balance or are suffering from depression or anxiety. We’ve all had our ups and downs and getting back on track and feeling our best is a goal I enjoy helping people achieve to live the life they want. Are your coping skills no longer working? I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the Bay Area, but never truly appreciated it until I left and came back. I attended high school in Marin at the Branson School in Ross. After High School I left for Wheaton College in Massachusetts where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. I moved to Florida where I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Prior to earning my Masters in Psychology I spent a number of years working in child and adolescent residential treatment centers in both San Francisco and Orlando, Florida. It was at this time that I fell in love with working with adolescents, adults, and their families. After graduate school, I found myself working for, and soon thereafter managing, an inpatient treatment program for adolescents who had experienced severe trauma. I returned to California for good in 2011 where I started working as the Lead Therapist for the Adolescent Outpatient Program at Fremont Hospital. I opened a part time private practice in 2012 and transitioned to a full time practice in San Francisco in early 2013.

While depression and anxiety may be reasonable responses to your life experiences and the state of the world, that doesn't mean you have to suffer alone. You deserve support. I strive to create an environment where you can safely lean into difficult feelings and process your past and present without shame or judgment. We will work collaboratively to unpack the impact of systems, relationships, and intersectional identities (i.e. women of color, immigrant background, cultural stress) on your well-being. Together, we’ll explore healing as an act of empowerment and transformation.

Hi there! I’m a therapist originally from Virginia, with deep passion for the LGBTQ+ and African American communities. My heart and practice has also been shaped by seven vibrant years in San Francisco. My approach is creative, compassionate, and affirming. I believe healing happens when we feel truly seen, and I strive to create a space where you can show up as your full self. Outside of therapy, I’m deeply inspired by music (of all genres), art, and all things creative. I bring that same spirit into my work, helping clients tap into their own resilience, insight, and expression.
