Hello! I’m Gloria, a Filipina licensed clinical psychologist originally from Guam, now based in the Bay Area, CA. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and have specialized training in treating depression, anxiety, addiction, and multicultural concerns, areas that continue to guide my work today. My clinical experience includes working in a variety of settings, where I’ve supported clients through identity exploration, emotional challenges, and major life transitions. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, and tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. Before becoming a psychologist, I spent eight years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a memory care unit, supporting individuals with dementia and their families. That experience shaped my understanding of caregiver stress and inspired my doctoral dissertation, which focused on the emotional impact of caregiving. It also deepened my belief that self-care and balance aren’t luxuries, they’re essential to our well-being. At the core of my work is the belief that therapy should be a safe, inclusive, and empowering space, one where your full self is welcomed and affirmed. I bring a deep commitment to cultural sensitivity, authenticity, and compassion, drawing from both my professional training and lived experience. Therapy with me is not just about managing challenges, it’s about growth, healing, and creating a life that feels true to you. I look forward to walking alongside you on that journey.

Hi, I’m Jacob Mooradian. I earned my bachelor’s degree from CSU Fullerton and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, where I focused on mental health and supporting people through life’s challenges. I take a down-to-earth, non-directive approach rooted in CBT, helping you understand the patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so you can eventually become your own therapist. I love bringing in media like movies, TV shows, sports, and current trends to make our conversations relatable, engaging, and grounded in real life. My goal is to validate your experiences, help you gain clarity, and build practical tools you can use every day. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. Hi. I am the daughter of immigrants which motivated me to study Multicultural community based psychology. I have worked in many different settings from community mental health to private practice. Currently I am the director of a consultation unit for youth and young adults in the foster care system. I really enjoy working with people on how to maximize their potential to create happier lives; sometimes this is achieved through more traditional therapy while other times this may require life coaching. I do not believe that therapy needs to be a continuous life long process, but rather a process individuals move in and out of at different stages of their lives.

I have been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for 20 years, and I continue to find meaning in helping people better understand themselves, work through difficult experiences, and create positive change in their lives. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if this is your first experience with counseling. My goal is to make therapy feel like a safe, supportive conversation where you can be yourself, speak openly, and know that you will be heard without judgment. I approach each client with empathy, compassion, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship begins by creating an environment where you feel comfortable discussing what is happening in your life at your own pace. Together, we can identify what is causing distress, understand the patterns that may be contributing to it, and develop practical tools for moving forward. Over the past two decades, I have worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological and psychiatric concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anger and emotional regulation difficulties, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. I am comfortable working with both everyday life challenges and more complex mental health concerns. My approach to therapy is individualized and collaborative because no single method works for everyone. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, Existential Therapy, and Reminiscence Therapy based on each client’s needs and goals. Therapy should provide more than a place to talk. My role is to help you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, recognize your strengths, and build practical skills that can be used outside of our sessions. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or seeking greater stability and fulfillment, we will work together toward lasting progress.

*I only work with individuals, no couples, no minors (under 18)* Trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, I am available to help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, relational issues, communication skills, depression, and stress management . As a first generation Eritrean American born and raised in the Bay Area, I struggled with a sense of belonging throughout my adolescence, often straddling the line between multiple identities and insecurities surrounding the idea of not being “American enough" and not being “African enough.” Early on in college, I took a psychology class that helped me further understand the human condition and its applications in my own life. I learned transformative concepts in terms of moods, relationships, and behaviors, prompting me to further pursue the field of psychology. Since then, I have taken it upon myself to get advanced training in various therapeutic approaches, which I believe help clients get the most out of their therapy experience.

Hello! I’m Sandra V. Chávez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Registered Psychological Assistant with the California Board of Psychology. I’m passionate about helping individuals grow both personally and emotionally through client-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapies. As a first-generation Latina, I learned ambition, tenacity, and determination from my parents. My educational journey includes dual bachelor’s degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences and Psychology, as well as a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I’m currently on the path to becoming a licensed psychologist. Before entering the mental health field, I worked as a nurse and briefly attended medical school in Southern California. That experience deepened my interest in understanding the brain, human development, and the impact of environmental factors on behavior. I specialize in supporting clients through mood disorders, life transitions, and self-empowerment challenges. My strengths lie in helping individuals develop emotional intelligence, identify, and understand their emotions. I believe therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique needs, which is why I use an integrative, eclectic approach that draws from evidence-based methods and holistic practices, including mindfulness and positive psychology. I also enjoy working with individuals who incorporate their faith into their mental health journey. For those open to incorporating their faith as a tool for healing, I create a safe, welcoming space where spirituality and therapy work hand in hand. Above all, I value building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to offer a non-judgmental environment where your thoughts and emotions are respected and where real progress can be made. Together, we’ll explore strategies, assignments, and tools that help you overcome life’s hurdles and achieve lasting personal growth and fulfillment. Let’s begin this journey together!

My name is Rachel, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Originally from Hong Kong, I am multilingual and fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. I am passionate about working with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds and providing culturally responsive, inclusive, and compassionate care. I support clients navigating depression, anxiety, social anxiety, imposter syndrome, stress, grief, self-esteem concerns, and academic or career-related challenges. I strive to create a safe, warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood as you explore your experiences, gain insight, and develop meaningful coping strategies. I am a Certified Brainspotting Therapist and am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), sand tray and sand play therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, and Play Therapy with young children. My clinical approach is person-centered and integrative, drawing from Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Therapy, Art and Music Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I believe that therapy should be tailored to who you are, not a one-size-fits-all approach. I work collaboratively with each client to understand their unique needs, strengths, experiences, and goals. Whether you are working through a difficult season, seeking greater self-understanding, or hoping to create meaningful change in your life, I am here to support you along the way.
