About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, unmotivated, or ready for change. I support clients through a warm, collaborative, and practical approach to therapy. I focus on adults suffering from anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, identity, and ADHD-related challenges, using practical approaches, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about getting to know you beyond a diagnosis or list of symptoms. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been difficult, what is already working, and what you would like to change. You can expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation and a clearer sense of what we can work toward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, humor, curiosity, and a practical, nonjudgmental approach. I’m comfortable meeting clients where they are while also respectfully challenging patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I love being a teacher while also being a collaborative partner in therapy, so you feel like you have someone on your side. I work collaboratively so therapy feels like something we do together—not something done to you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, unmotivated, or ready for a change but aren't sure where to begin. My clients may be navigating ADHD-related challenges, life transitions, relationships, identity, self-esteem, or stress. I especially enjoy working with clients who want both a supportive space and practical strategies they can use in everyday life. I also enjoy working with clients who understand that the work doesn't exist solely in therapy. Tracking mood, feelings, and emotions are some examples of homework that I assign to build the skill of awareness.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify what is already working, clarify what they want to change, and build practical steps toward their goals. Rather than focusing only on problems, we look for strengths, exceptions, and small changes that can create meaningful progress. This approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and designed to help clients feel more confident moving forward.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, low mood, or feeling stuck, and develop more helpful ways of responding. I often incorporate practical tools, reflection, and skill-building so clients can apply what we discuss between sessions.
