Hello and welcome to Careful Heart Counseling Services.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and safe enough to be honest about what they’re carrying.
My practice focuses on children, adolescents, and teens. I work with youth ages 5–18, helping them develop emotional awareness, healthy coping skills, communication, and behavioral strategies while creating a safe space for them to express what they may not always have the words to say. I also support the parents and caregivers who are trying to balance work, family, relationships, and their own wellbeing. Because supporting a child often means supporting the people caring for them, I believe in working collaboratively with families to strengthen connection, communication, and understanding.
With more than eight years of clinical experience and 15 years serving Sacramento County’s community-based mental health and social service systems, I bring both clinical expertise and a heart centered approach to my work.

Good day to you, my name is Mario Palacios
I am a LMFT. I have been a therapist for over 25 years. I have had my practice since 2011. In that time, I have learned and have continued to learn what it takes to become a more effective therapist. During this time, I have treated many people with various issues/challenges that have resulted in positive outcomes. The most important impact for me is being able to see when my client has been able to make changes in their lives where they have improved themselves, found more clarity and continue to seek more improvement.

Hi, I’m Johanna!
I’m a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), nationally certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I provide individual therapy for adults across California with support that is genuine, collaborative, and grounded in cultural awareness.
As a Latina therapist, I’m especially passionate about supporting first-generation and BIPOC individuals navigating anxiety, intergenerational trauma, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in meaningful, real conversation, creating a space where you can reflect, heal, and grow.
I primarily work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges. My therapeutic style integrates mindfulness, CBT, and person-centered approaches, helping clients deepen self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, and build more fulfilling connections. I believe meaningful change begins when you feel truly seen, understood, and supported on your path to healing.
Congratulations! You have taken the first steps in the journey to your goal(s). I am extremely grateful you are considering me to partner up with. I consider my relationships as instrumental in learning who I am. The relationships that most speak to who I am include being a spouse, father, brother, son, colleague, and friend. My grandparents are deceased. Through these relationships I have learned a great deal.
I'm a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Master's from the University of Southern California. I have provided mental health services for 18 years, helping clients with a wild range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis, grief/loss, chronic illness, postpartum, problematic relationships, behavioral issues, personality traits and life/career transitions in diverse populations of adults.
Given my experience, I have developed a therapeutic approach based on clients' needs. I combine evidence-based interventions with cognitive and psychodynamic therapies. I provide a supportive environment where clients openly and safely express their experiences, emotions, and thoughts with acceptance and non-judgment.
My approach is a therapist who works collaboratively with clients to create a space that feels safe, respectful and grounded in authenticity. It is important that my clients feel emotionally safe, seen and empowered. I intend to create an environment where they can feel comfortable to navigate the challenging and difficult experiences they have endured throughout their life. My focus is on supporting clients as they learn to understand and manage their emotions, express their thoughts and feelings effectively, and explore how childhood experiences shape who we are today.
Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I am a graduate of Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary and have been a practicing clinician for the past 10 years. I enjoy assisting clients in discovering their unique strengths and gifts that can be applied to improving mental health. My practice focuses on adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and parenting difficulties.
I am a down-to-earth and collaborative therapist who believes that the foundation of effective healing is a genuine, honest connection. I prioritize creating a transparent environment where you feel heard and respected, allowing us to work as true partners in your mental health journey. My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is most effective when it is practical, straightforward, and focused on your unique reality.
In our sessions, I value honesty and the identification of healthy, realistic goals. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where we work together to uncover the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying irrational thinking patterns and challenging negative self-talk, we can begin to reframe your narrative in a way that serves your growth rather than hindering it.
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a significant step, which is why I focus on providing a non-judgmental space where we can tackle challenges at your pace. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, daily stress, or life transitions, my goal is to provide you with a functional toolkit of strategies you can use long after our sessions end. Together, we will move toward a more balanced, resilient, and fulfilling life.

My journey as a therapist began in my childhood. I was raised by a single mother and experienced poverty throughout my childhood. God has been my strength and anchor. I grew up in diverse settings which has given me the ability to have empathy and hold a safe space for all people, especially marginal communities.
Most of my extracurricular activities throughout my life have involved meeting the needs of people. I aspire to be a safe space and sounding board for others and believe giving back is what makes life meaningful.
I am licensed in California with 7 years of professional work experience. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I have been practicing as a Marriage and Family Therapist for 19 years, and am licensed in both states. I find therapy rewarding at all ages, but specifically enjoy working with adults and families. My goal is to help you build up the confidence you need to be successful.
I prefer the one-on-one relationship that working in individual psychotherapy provides. My philosophy is that the bond that I build with you is the most important aspect of your journey. If you are able to trust me at a time when you are most vulnerable then I am succeeding. My approach is to collaborate with you and develop a treatment plan and therapeutic style that is right for you. All of my clients are unique, and I feel that your therapeutic voyage should reflect that. You may also come to me looking for a specific type or style of therapy which can help us guide your sessions in a particular direction. Ultimately, this is your journey, and you get to decide where we go and how we get there.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who values authenticity, connection, and creating a space where clients feel truly seen and supported. Hello, I'm Gino Memoli, a licensed therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families through personalized therapy sessions. I specialize in addressing personality disorders, mood disorders, and trauma using client-centered modality to help clients explore and heal various aspects of themselves. Additionally, I apply the Gottman Method to enhance relationship dynamics for couples and families, focusing on building stronger, more understanding connections. I'm a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with 19 years of clinical experience, 15 years licensed within private practice.
I consider myself to be bicultural. Having been raised as a first-generation American in a Latin family, I can identify with the mentality of someone living within two "worlds". Transitioning from one culture to another with seemingly different values, beliefs and language. I can easily understand the struggle that maintaining, and existing in both, can sometimes be. I've come to perceive and appreciate it as the gift of having a "bridge" that allows connection to, and understanding of, different aspects of people and life.
My education has a foundation in Clinical Psychology, woven with holistic transpersonal themes, the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and just plain down-to-earth common sense. Always keeping in mind the client's personal beliefs and values.
I help my clients to gain a deeper understanding of the behavioral issues, triggers, coping mechanisms, and traumas that may be contributing to their challenges. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your story and find healing. Your security and safety are my top priority, and I will work with you every step of the way to ensure you feel comfortable and supported. So come as you are, and let's start our healing journey together.

Greetings,
Life can be confusing, relationships can be stressful, and the present can make you feel anxious or depressed. Sometimes a painful past can surface into the moment, especially when situations are difficult or when you are experiencing major change. During these periods your mood and thoughts can be affected in negative ways. When you are feeling alone, disconnected, or confused, talking things through can make all the difference.
I work with anyone struggling to find joy, peace, and fulfillment. I offer a safe, inviting space for you to share thoughts and feelings, to vent, to feel heard, and to reorient to meaning. Please allow me to assist you finding relief and clarity. I will meet you where you are at and welcome you. I address healing on multiple levels of the body-mind connection with a focus on the notion that caring about something or someone along with experiencing meaning can counterbalance the effects of hurt, a disturbing past, or a present stressful situation or transition.
I have more than 20 years of experience helping clients navigate major change and transition, gain closure, and create new beginnings. I apply interventions from a mind-body-being perspective and assess current life stressors to distinguish between situational mood and thought disturbances from those enduring and a consequence of previous hurt or trauma.
Some background: I have 12 years teaching in secondary schools in California prior to becoming a therapist. I have dealt with considerable childhood adversity and loss and continue to build a skillset to help others through difficult times. I am proud to say I love what I do. I am passionate about seeing others change themselves for better, and heal through trauma, injury, and all kinds of adversity which has taken a toll on their spirit.

Hi! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am dedicated to helping you navigate domestic violence, relationship issues, and major life transitions: like divorce, becoming a parent, or facing a layoff. Hey there! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving clients in California and Massachusetts. I earned my master’s degree from the University of New England, with a focus on Individuals, Families, and Groups, and I bring 13 years of experience working alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting people through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and experiences that have left them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change.
I particularly enjoy helping people find perspective through the voice of their pain. I believe that pain and discomfort, while often difficult, can also become powerful teachers when we are willing to slow down, listen, and understand what our experiences are trying to tell us. Therapy provides a space to explore those experiences without judgment while developing healthier ways to cope, communicate, and move forward.
In our work together, we will identify your concerns, explore the patterns and beliefs that may be affecting your well-being, and develop practical strategies that are tailored to your individual needs and goals. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, respected, and empowered to become more intentional about the life you want to create.
I look forward to walking alongside you as you tend to your heart, discover your strengths, and move toward meaningful change.

Hello, I’m Ritika Kaur, a California-based Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #101199). In my psychotherapy practice, I provide a compassionate, client-centered environment where healing can begin.
My path into the mental health field began with a simple goal to help people navigate hard times and find fulfillment. After earning my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from National University in 2011, I spent several years working in community mental health. This role gave me valuable experience in providing evidence-based care to a wide range of individuals. I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California in 2017, and I remain dedicated to helping my clients build resilience and well-being.
I support clients facing mild to moderate mental health challenges, including anxiety, stress, relationship issues, grief, family and parenting stress, and major life transitions. During our initial meeting, we will discuss your specific needs. If I determine that your situation requires support outside my area of expertise, I will provide you with referrals and recommendations to ensure you receive the care you need.
While I am happy to support you in other ways, I do not provide disability documentation, medical leave paperwork, or ESA letters. If you require these specific forms or legal documentation, I recommend consulting with a provider who specializes in those assessments.
For new clients:
Please ensure all intake documents are completed prior to our session. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a smooth start to our work together.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Supportive Therapy, and Mindfulness-based practices, always tailoring our work to fit your unique needs, goals, and pace.

Hello, my name is David Fallon and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been licensed for about 20 years. I've worked with all kinds of individuals. I started by working with kids with behavior issues. Mostly I have worked with serious mental illness on the streets serving unhoused individuals. And I have worked with people seeking help in a one on one therapy situation. The first session will be for us to get to know each other and see if this is a good fit. I will be asking a lot of questions. Feel free to ask me any questions that come up as well. I will tell you a little bit about how I work. In the early stages, I basically follow your lead. You tell me what you want to work on, and I ask questions to understand the problem. Together we figure out ways of dealing with these problems. Sometimes it takes more than one or two or even a dozen tries to find the right things that work for you. This process is a journey, and I am here to help guide you through it. I can make recommendations, but it is up to you what you want to do and what works for you. Sometimes difficult thoughts are feelings will come up. Do not be afraid to express them when they do as the more genuine and honest you are, the more I will understand what you are dealing with. That being said, always take things at your own pace. Never feel rushed or forced to say anything you are not ready to say.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California with 30 years of clinical experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I understand how difficult it can be to manage everyday responsibilities while struggling with your emotional well-being. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can better understand your experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in your life.
I also specialize in working with neurodivergent adults, including individuals with autism, ADHD, or both, as well as those exploring whether they may be neurodivergent. I have been a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) since 2017 and PEERS® certified since 2021. I earned my master's degree from California State University, Long Beach, and my bachelor's degree from Grambling State University.

Hello, I have been a therapist for my whole life, or so it would seem. I feel as though I have always been a good listener and have been there for friends, family and people that need somebody to listen. I have learned a lot about what people have gone through, from working with adults in jail and/or teens trying to understand themselves. Life is complicated, maybe you just need somebody to listen.
