Welcome! My name is Tiffany Drake and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I’m here to support you as you take this important step. In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you—your experiences, concerns, and hopes for therapy. We’ll discuss what brought you here and begin to identify goals that feel meaningful to you.
My aim is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll explore any areas of stress, relationships, or life transitions you’re navigating, and I’ll begin introducing tools and insights that may be helpful. Starting therapy is a brave choice, and I look forward to working with you to foster positive change and personal growth.
My path to becoming a therapist was inspired by my deep desire to help others. From serving as a peer counselor in school to volunteering in my community and being a supportive friend, I’ve always felt a natural pull toward guiding people through challenging times. I find fulfillment in witnessing individuals grow and become the best versions of themselves.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, offering tools and insights to cultivate well-being and a renewed sense of self. I specialize in supporting individuals through life transitions, managing stress, anxiety, depression, post-partum, and navigating the unique challenges of postpartum depression. Life changes can often feel overwhelming, whether they stem from shifts in career, relationships, or new stages of personal growth. I am here to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore these changes, identify coping strategies, and build resilience. For those experiencing postpartum depression, I understand the complexity of emotions that can accompany new motherhood. Together, we’ll work to ease feelings of isolation, self-doubt, and anxiety, fostering self-compassion and confidence.
I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with my Clients and have been using it for many years.
I often use Person-Centered Therapy in conjunction with other Therapeutic methods.
I also use Narrative Therapy for a more positive perspective on problems.
