New to Grow
Hello! I’m Haley Gonzalez. I work with a variety of clients including young adults and women navigating life transitions, anxiety, or postpartum challenges. I focus on helping them feel more grounded and capable. I’m also open to working with people from different backgrounds and life experiences. I'm here to help you build practical skills, navigate emotions, and feel more confident in your everyday life, and I welcome anyone looking for support and a safe space to grow.
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, challenges, and what’s been feeling most overwhelming, and together we’ll start identifying practical strategies to help you feel more in control. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space. I take a very direct approach and we’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I keep it real and human in session, making sure you feel heard without judgment. I like to incorporate humor when it fits, because therapy doesn’t always have to be intense. It can be a space for growth and relief. I focus on creating practical strategies while staying flexible to your needs, so we work together in a way that feels authentic and supportive.
My ideal clients are young adults and women navigating life transitions, anxiety, or prenatal/postpartum challenges. That said, I have a vast variety of experience and I am also open to working with clients of all backgrounds/needs :) If you're looking for practical tools, emotional support, and a safe, collaborative space to explore your experiences, then you're definitely welcome in my practice.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my sessions, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you notice how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we explore unhelpful patterns and develop practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, or overwhelming emotions. I focus on strategies you can use in your day-to-day life, while providing a warm, supportive space where you feel heard and understood.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a solutions-focused approach to help you identify your strengths and find practical ways to reach your goals. We focus on what’s working for you and build small, actionable steps to create change in your daily life. This approach is collaborative, positive, and designed to help you feel more in control and capable, even during stressful or challenging seasons.
Attachment-based
I use an attachment-based approach to help you make sense of patterns in your relationships and emotions. We’ll look at how past experiences might be showing up in your day-to-day life, and together we’ll find ways to build more secure, supportive connections with yourself and the people around you.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help you build practical skills that make a real difference day-to-day. We focus on things like mindfulness to stay grounded, emotion regulation to handle intense feelings, and healthy communication to improve your relationships. It's important that you leave sessions with tools you can actually use when things get rocky.
