I'm Kyra Shapiro, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working across outpatient, private practice, and intensive mental health settings. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, relationships, identity, and life transitions. My approach goes beyond symptom reduction—we work to understand the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shaped who you are today. I strive to create a space where clients feel both supported and challenged, combining warmth, curiosity, and honesty to help people build lasting change rather than temporary relief.
Hi there, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 7+ years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and perinatal mental health challenges.
My professional experience includes working with diverse populations, including expectant and new parents, adults experiencing homelessness, and older adults. Women's mental health, pregnancy, and postpartum wellness are areas I am especially passionate about. I spent many years supporting families throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period in a hospital setting and am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. I earned my degree from California State University, Northridge, and have been licensed since 2019.
Hello I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing in the field of Social Work for over 30 years. I have worked with many different people from a variety of cultures. I have helped both children, adolescents and adults with various concerns from criminal behaviors, addiction, and serious mental illness. I have helped people change their behavior and thinking so they can reach their potential, achieve their goals and heal emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
I am a straight-forward but empathic therapist, who also appreciates the same from her clients. I also believe in the social work mission of starting where the client is, so sessions are based upon that analogy. I have experience in many areas, including hospital, foster care, group homes, forensics, Veterans, home health, etc. I received my Masters of Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve Univerity, and my Doctorate of Psychology from California Southern University. Although I have a doctorate degree, my scope of practice does not fall under psychological testing, pharmacological practices, nor community services. I only do individual therapy so if you need case management (such as letters), family/couples therapy, psychologicial testing, or medication, please refer to those licensed or practicing in those areas.
Hi! I'm Jessica, a licensed therapist with over 16 years of experience based in Los Angeles. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on creating real, lasting change. I am a licensed MFT clinician in California with 7 years of eclectic psychotherapy work experience. I thrive on collaborating/working with clients to help them process and manage stress, interpersonal issues, symptoms of anxiety and depression, a distorted sense of self, trauma from individual/familial abuse as well as the systemic factors therein, schizophrenia spectrum challenges/symptoms, and personality disorders (e.g., antisocial personality disorder and borderline personality disorder). I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion while maintaining strong/healthy boundaries. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs as we work through what you desire to focus on.
I have worked with a variety of clients in different mental health organizations and schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles County. I am comfortable and have experience working with trauma-related stress disorders, isolation/loneliness and suicidal thoughts. I treat both adults and older teens (18 and over) through individual psychotherapy. I ask (Socratic) questions based on therapeutic timing and will provide evidence-based psychoeducation when needed, always moving the session with clinical intuition as the process unfolds.
I am a husband, father and business owner who enjoys traveling, sports, music and chess. I grew up in Fort Myers, Florida and I have 2 children age 14 and 9. I became a therapist after pursuing different career paths in music and sports. I also spent a few years as a medical sales rep before 2020 and discovered a true passion for helping others improve their quality of life within online virtual therapy.

I have almost 10 years of experience in this field of work. Most of it has been with the geriatric population within various settings, as well as with individuals challenged with a severe mental illness in forensic environments. In our sessions, you can expect a space that is both compassionate and practical-no nodding silently for 50 minutes. I'm here to help you get back to feeling like yourself, only more grounded and resilient. I offer secure, convenient virtual therapy throughout California. Please, reach out to see if we are a good fit.
Hi my name is Mandisa Pittmon and I am a married mother of 3 teenage children who understands the joy and challenges of parenting and relationships. I am originally from Southern California but have happily resided in Sacramento, CA since 2012.
I graduated from California State Fullerton and soon began working with foster youth in group home facilities for 8 years while working in nonprofit community outpatient clinics, which allowed me to better understand the needs of families and children from various cultures and back grounds. I then earned a Masters degree (MA) in 2011 from National University, feeling the need to increase my knowledge and ability to serve individuals and families, which began my journey in marriage and family therapy. Later I was able to receive additional training in Applied Behavior Analysis, allowing me to work with children on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities, in various school districts.
First and foremost, I am a father of two. I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology and have worked in government setting as a supervisor to many social workers over the past 28 years. I have been licensed as a therapist in California since 2004 and have worked with 100s of individuals, couples and teens since then. I have had over 200 hours of post PHD training in the areas of anxiety, depression, child abuse and neglect, bipolar disorder, couples counseling, divorce, child custody and phobia.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 5 years of experience and I approach my client's care the same way I'd approach my own- transparently, empathically, and with a bit of humor sprinkled in. I try my best to provide a warm, collaborative space where children, teens, and adults feel safe, supported, and understood. I have extensive experience working with youth and especially enjoy supporting teens as they navigate anxiety, life transitions, school stress, identity development, and family or peer relationships. All the good stuff! My approach is compassionate, CBT oriented, and strengths-based, helping clients build insight, develop coping skills (by the time we are done, you will have a whole toolbox full of skills to dive into!) and create meaningful, lasting change.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’re not totally sure what to say or where to begin. My job is to make that part easier.
I’m a licensed therapist who works with people dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, low motivation, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Some clients come in with something specific going on, while others just know something feels off and want to figure it out. Both are completely welcome here.
In our work together, we focus on what’s actually happening in your day-to-day life and how to create real, noticeable changes—not just talk in circles. I aim to keep sessions practical, collaborative, and grounded so you leave with clarity and a better sense of direction.
Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or analyzed. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan before starting—we’ll figure that out together.
If you’re looking for therapy that feels straightforward, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward, I’d be glad to work with you.
Hello and welcome! It brings me so much joy that you are taking this first big step of showing up for yourself. I consider myself a direct therapist. My approach is warm, genuine, and supportive, while also being honest and straightforward. I won’t simply tell you what you want to hear. I’ll encourage you to look at things from different perspectives, challenge patterns that may no longer be serving you, and celebrate your progress along the way.
I am a licensed therapist who specializes in supporting women who have experienced difficult or emotionally complicated relationships with their mothers, struggle with feelings of “not being enough,” or find themselves repeating painful patterns in relationships. I help women heal from the wounds that often shape how they see themselves, love others, and navigate relationships. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and relational therapy, recognizing that our past experiences, relationships, and patterns often shape how we experience ourselves and the world today.
I offer an integrative approach that combines a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. Together, we'll identify the approaches that best fit your goals, helping you develop practical coping skills, deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life you want to create.
I'm a licensed therapist working with adult individuals, couples, and families while they navigate challenges. I have a particular interest working with families going through transition times -- having a new baby, considering divorce/separation, coping with new health challenges, or being a caregiver for a family member with their own challenges. All of these transitions bring so many emotional and logistical challenges, and I truly enjoy being able to create a safe and comfortable space to talk and think through the stress these situations bring.
My style is warm, pragmatic, and collaborative. My goal is to help you identify patterns and thoughts that are causing concern and help change them into ways of coping that better serve you. Once these patterns are identified, then we will work together to gain tools to apply in ways you can actually use in your daily life. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation with someone who wants you to succeed and takes the time and effort to understand the complexity of your situation.
I'm a gentleman in my early 50s who has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years now (licensed MFT since 2014). I have particular experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients, members of the adoption constellation, and professionals working in entertainment and other creative fields.
My approach is warm, relational, and depth-oriented. I believe meaningful therapy involves more than managing symptoms—it creates space to understand the deeper patterns, relationships, and experiences shaping your life. Depending on your needs, I draw from psychodynamic and Jungian therapy, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, family systems, narrative therapy, dream work, and practical cognitive-behavioral tools.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working as a producer in film and television. That experience gave me a firsthand understanding of creative ambition, unpredictable careers, collaboration, rejection, and the pressure to keep performing even when something internally feels stuck.
I bring curiosity, humor, compassion, and genuine engagement into the therapy room. My goal is to offer a space where you can speak honestly, feel deeply understood, and develop a stronger relationship with yourself and the people who matter to you.

Hi, I'm James. I believe that the fundamental purpose of therapy is to create and facilitate change. Whether you are beginning or resuming the pursuit of healthy change in your life, I would love to join you in that effort. As a Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor of 15 years, I have had the privilege of serving a wide array of clients and I specialize in collaborating with you to decrease the impact of trauma, severe depression, anxiety, and/or psychosis. Regardless of the context that brought you to initiate this search, that intentional decision is a commendable step toward creating healthy change.
I have spent much of my career serving and leading in agency work, and have seen the results of systemic and societal trauma in its purest form and proudly serve those who are described as "high acuity", as well as those who need help with nagging doubts, sticky insecurities or outdated patterns.
I encourage you to take that next step into self-care, healing and change. I pledge to honor your story, your process and to facilitate change.
Many of the struggles we experience as adults, whether in our relationships, our confidence, or our sense of purpose, begin with beliefs we formed long ago about ourselves and the world. While those beliefs may have helped us navigate earlier seasons of life, they can quietly keep us confused, disconnected, and living as someone we’ve learned to be rather than who we truly are.
I believe therapy is an opportunity to gently uncover those patterns, heal the wounds beneath them, and reconnect with your authentic self. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, grief, or simply feeling that something no longer fits, our work together is focused on creating meaningful, lasting change, not just managing symptoms.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with adults and couples who are ready to better understand themselves and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply integrative, combining insight-oriented psychotherapy with practical, future-focused tools that help clients move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Hello...I am Dr. Taulbee. We all have a "story". And I want to hear yours. I hear the heartbeat of what you tell me and what you leave unsaid. My task is to help you feel comfortable so that you can voice what it is that concerns you about hurts, habits, and hang-ups that are leftovers, I call them, from growing up....and how that impacts you today. Even people from the best of families have what I call "unfinished business" that goes back to family of origin "stuff". My training and experience have shown me that until we deal with it, we can't live fully abundant lives. So, I look forward to hearing you and knowing your story, so that you are free to choose love and be loved , and to forgive people who have hurt you in the way God intended from the beginning.
