About me

I am a licensed therapist who specializes in supporting women who have experienced difficult or emotionally complicated relationships with their mothers, struggle with feelings of “not being enough,” or find themselves repeating painful patterns in relationships. I help women heal from the wounds that often shape how they see themselves, love others, and navigate relationships. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and relational therapy, recognizing that our past experiences, relationships, and patterns often shape how we experience ourselves and the world today. I offer an integrative approach that combines a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. Together, we'll identify the approaches that best fit your goals, helping you develop practical coping skills, deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life you want to create.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

First sessions can be daunting, and I strive to create a comfortable, low-pressure space to determine if I am the right fit for you, and how we can reach your goals together. I view therapy as a collaborative process designed around you and your unique healing process. Throughout our work together, I will meet you with empathy, authenticity, and respect, honoring your story and supporting you at a pace that feels right for you. I use a trauma-informed, client-centered approach that places you at the center of our work together. I foster therapeutic relationships built on trust and compassion, where you can explore difficult experiences without feeling rushed. You are the expert on your own life, and I will support you in moving toward healing at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. Together, we will explore the roots of your concerns or symptoms with compassion rather than judgment, gaining insight into longstanding patterns while identifying opportunities for growth and healing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am passionate about providing nonjudgmental, compassionate therapy and supporting clients in becoming versions of themselves who are not simply surviving, but truly thriving. I specialize in relational trauma, family-of-origin wounds, emotionally unhealthy relationships, and life transitions that can lead to anxiety, people-pleasing, low self-worth, and difficulty setting boundaries. Using a psychodynamic and relational approach, I help clients explore how past experiences influence the present while integrating DBT, ACT, CBT, IFS, attachment-based, narrative, and solution-focused therapies to support meaningful, lasting change. I work with individuals and couples who are ready to move beyond simply managing symptoms and begin understanding the patterns that shape their emotions, relationships, and sense of self to create meaningful, lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with those who are ready to better understand themselves and the patterns that keep showing up in their lives and relationships. I specialize in treating relational trauma, emotionally unhealthy relationships, family-of-origin wounds, and significant life transitions that have left clients feeling disconnected from themselves, struggling with anxiety, people-pleasing, low self-worth, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling stuck in relationships that no longer serve them.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use attachment therapy to help clients understand the ways their past relationships may continue to influence how they see themselves and connect with others. Through a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach, I support clients in healing old wounds, building self-trust, and creating healthier, more secure relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and create meaningful changes in their daily lives to get "unstuck."

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts and emotions, cultivate self-compassion, and move toward the values and life experiences that matter most to them.

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may be influencing the way they think, feel, and relate to themselves and others today. In session, this looks like curious examination of relationships, emotions, and behaviors to better understand what may be keeping them stuck and create opportunities for meaningful change.

Somatic

I use somatic therapy to help clients reconnect with their bodies and better understand the ways emotions and experiences can show up physically. Through increased body awareness and gentle, grounding practices, I support clients in developing greater emotional regulation, safety, and self-trust.
