Exhausted by the way you think about yourself? We are often (if not always) our own worst enemies. Whether this pattern has caused you problems with guilt, shame, anxiety, depression, addiction or you name it - the starting point is generally the same. When we embark on the project of therapy you will be asked to put your painful thoughts and feelings into words. As the process unfolds, the strength and fervor used to overthink and condemn yourself will become accessible to use productively in reaching your goals.

Tired of Feeling Stuck? Let's Find a Way Forward. You're doing your best to hold everything together, but anxiety, overthinking, and worry keep getting in the way. You're exhausted from feeling stuck in the same patterns, struggling to quiet your mind, or pretending you're okay when you're not. Maybe you're feeling disconnected from the people you love or wondering when life will start to feel good again. You want more than temporary relief—you want lasting change, greater confidence, and the freedom to enjoy your life again. I'm Tammy Brooks, LMFT, a Level 3 Certified Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) practitioner. I help adults move beyond feeling stuck by focusing on their strengths, hopes, and the changes they want to make. Rather than spending session after session rehashing what's gone wrong, we'll work together to discover new possibilities and practical steps toward the life you want to live. You don't have to keep navigating everything on your own. If you're ready for a different approach and want to begin moving toward greater peace, joy, and connection, I'd welcome the opportunity to work with you. Let's explore what's possible together.

Hi There! I'm Rachel. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where we can explore your experiences together with honesty, curiosity, and compassion. I recognize that every person is unique, and I tailor my approach to fit each client's individual needs. Whether you're navigating a difficult season of life, feeling stuck in old patterns, or simply wanting a deeper understanding of yourself, I strive to help you feel supported while working toward meaningful and lasting growth. Outside of the therapy room, I love getting lost in a good book, spending time outdoors with friends, and baking. Hi There. My name is Mimi. I am a licensed Psychotherapist. I am here to help you grow, identify and resolve emotional and psychological obstacles that are preventing you from achieving the quality of life you deserve and desire. My integrative approach to therapy combines a variety of techniques to accommodate different individual needs to assist you in making choices that will help you achieve a fuller and happier life in a non judgmental, compassionate, warm, and safe environment where you will be heard and accepted. You may feel lost, empty, anxious, alone, with no place to turn to, but as we work together, I will lead you to explore those wounds and emotions that are creating the pain you feel. Clinging to old patterns and emotions is familiar and safe, but it does not serve us well. However, as we walk together, your life will begin to have the purpose you are seeking and deserve as you let go of old emotions and experiences. Taking the first step to self understanding can be intimidating and it takes courage to embark on a journey for change where you will be in control of your life and to all issues overwhelming you with anxious feelings and overwhelming thoughts. I'm Marcelle Turner , an LCSW, with over five years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families from a wide range of backgrounds. I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 16 years, and I truly love what I do. I approach every client with empathy, compassion, acceptance, and without judgment, regardless of what brings them to therapy. If this is your first experience with therapy, my goal is to make the process feel comfortable and approachable. Therapy begins with a conversation with someone who knows how to listen, ask meaningful questions, and understand what you are experiencing. I work to create a safe space where you can talk openly about anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, or experiences that may be difficult to put into words. My clinical perspective has been shaped by working across multiple levels of mental health care, including state psychiatric hospitals, correctional and forensic settings, emergency mental health services, adult parole operations, and substance use treatment programs. I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing severe mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma, and complex emotional and behavioral concerns. These experiences taught me that effective treatment requires both compassion and clinical precision. Today, I primarily work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, and major life transitions. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, insight-oriented therapy, and attachment-based strategies. As an EMDRIA-certified EMDR therapist, I have specialized training in helping clients process distressing experiences that continue to affect their emotions, beliefs, relationships, and behaviors. My style is calm, supportive, and direct. My role is not simply to listen, but to help you understand patterns, regulate difficult emotions, improve communication, and develop practical tools for change. Together, we establish clear goals and work toward meaningful, measurable progress that extends beyond the therapy room.

I found myself becoming a psychotherapist through nudges from friends and family pointing me toward a field they believed suited me well. I'm so grateful I listened and changed careers from education to psychology; 10 years later, I'm writing this with great satisfaction about my profession. The work of joining a person in articulating, understanding, and organizing their experience is a wonderful thing. This work makes sense to me; I both enjoy serving others and the psychic rewards of their growth and success. I've worked in various settings, including CBT, college counseling, and psychodynamic clinics, as well as addiction medicine, behavioral health primary care, and medical integration with Kaiser Permanente. All of these contexts have combined to bring my clinical style together in an integrative-relational approach to treatment.

I work with individuals and families at all stages of life, helping them release outdated mindsets and adopt empowering new ones by uncovering the root causes, patterns, and obstacles that hold them back. My approach integrates neuroscience, cognitive psychology, positive psychology, and depth psychology, always focusing on creating meaningful connections that unlock new possibilities. I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the Bay Area, but never truly appreciated it until I left and came back. I attended high school in Marin at the Branson School in Ross. After High School I left for Wheaton College in Massachusetts where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. I moved to Florida where I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Prior to earning my Masters in Psychology I spent a number of years working in child and adolescent residential treatment centers in both San Francisco and Orlando, Florida. It was at this time that I fell in love with working with adolescents, adults, and their families. After graduate school, I found myself working for, and soon thereafter managing, an inpatient treatment program for adolescents who had experienced severe trauma. I returned to California for good in 2011 where I started working as the Lead Therapist for the Adolescent Outpatient Program at Fremont Hospital. I opened a part time private practice in 2012 and transitioned to a full time practice in San Francisco in early 2013.

Thank you for stopping by. I know that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I'm glad you're here. I'm Travis Buchanan, LMFT, LAADC, and I help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and connection. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, struggling in your relationships, facing addiction, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a place to slow down, gain perspective, and move forward. I've had the privilege of working with professionals, business owners, and others in demanding careers. Many are highly successful on the outside while privately carrying the weight of burnout, anxiety, loneliness, or relationship struggles. I understand the pressure of being the one others depend on. My approach is grounded in the belief that people aren't broken. Together, we'll explore the patterns and beliefs that have shaped your life—not to dwell on the past, but to better understand the present and create lasting change. I combine compassion with practical strategies that help you build resilience, strengthen relationships, and live more in line with your values. As both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I also have extensive experience helping people recover from substance use and behavioral addictions. I believe lasting recovery begins by understanding the purpose those behaviors once served and developing healthier ways to meet life's challenges. Clients often describe me as calm, thoughtful, direct, and easy to talk to. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged. If you're ready to take the next step—or simply curious whether therapy is right for you—I'd be honored to meet you.

There comes a moment when you realize the way you have been coping is no longer working, no matter how hard you try to push through. Perhaps you feel stuck in patterns that don't align with the life you want. You want things to feel different in your relationships, your body, your choices, and your day-to-day life. You want to stop escaping, stop overthinking, and feel more connected to yourself, more at peace. You are looking for real change, and you want a therapist who can help you become more confident, more self aware, and ready to truly transform. Hi, I'm Mattie, a trauma-informed therapist supporting high-functioning adults who are ready for real change. I work with individuals who feel stuck in stress cycles, overthinking, or disconnection despite doing all the “right” things. I help you build emotional clarity, self-trust, and lasting transformation using tools like somatic therapy, EMDR, CBT, DBT, and inner child work.

My name is Judy Jordan and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 20 years years of professional experience in counseling with children,, adults, and families. I took an evening course in Psychology 5 when starting school, and by the end of it , I knew I wanted to become a therapist. I was drawn to understanding people on a deeper level and helping them through their struggles. With support from my dad, I left my job and went back to school starting from scratch. I loved every minute of learning and felt more certain with each class that I was on the right path. My dedication paid off...I earned straight A's and received the Academic Achievement Award in Psychology. More importantly I found a sense of purpose in supporting others on their mental health journeys.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. Originally from Taiwan, I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University. Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals and communities, including children and families, adolescents, transitional-age youth, young adults, older adults, men, women, couples, LGBTQ+ individuals, and justice-involved populations. I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. I understand that our cultural backgrounds, family experiences, and life circumstances can shape who we are and influence the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. My clinical experience has given me a broad understanding of the unique challenges people face at different stages of life. I strive to create a respectful and supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. In today's fast-paced world, many people find themselves overwhelmed by daily responsibilities and may be disconnected from what brings meaning and fulfillment to their lives. It is common to push aside difficult thoughts and emotions simply to get through the day. Over time, however, this can leave us feeling stuck, isolated, or uncertain about how to move forward. I want to assure you that it is okay to reach out and talk it out. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, experiencing relationship difficulties, seeking greater self-understanding, or simply looking for a safe space to process your experiences, therapy can provide an opportunity to gain insight and perspective. My approach is direct yet empathic, collaborative, and solution-focused, while remaining grounded in genuine compassion and practical feedback. Together, I can help you explore the challenges you are facing, identify patterns that may be holding you back, build upon your strengths, and work toward meaningful, positive, and lasting change.
