About me

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy should feel like a real conversation—not a clinical interview. I bring warmth, authenticity, humor, and compassion into the room while also being willing to challenge you when needed. My goal is to create a space where you can take off the mask, talk honestly about what’s really going on, and feel understood without judgment. Whether you’re navigating relationships, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to understand the patterns that are no longer serving you and find practical ways to move forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about getting to know you—not just checking boxes. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you would like to be different. You don’t have to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start. I’ll ask questions, listen, and help us begin connecting the dots. Most importantly, we’ll start building a comfortable, honest relationship and create goals that actually feel meaningful to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring authenticity, warmth, humor, and a genuine human connection to therapy. I’m not the therapist who just sits back, nods, and asks, “How does that make you feel?” I’m engaged, curious, and willing to gently challenge you while still making sure you feel heard and supported. I’m good at helping clients recognize patterns, see situations from a different perspective, and get to the heart of what’s really going on. My style is compassionate but practical—we can laugh when it’s appropriate, have the hard conversations when we need to, and work toward changes you can actually use outside of the therapy room.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready for something to change, even if they’re not quite sure how to get there yet. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in the same relationship patterns, struggling to set boundaries, putting everyone else’s needs before your own, or simply tired of holding everything together. You don’t have to come to therapy with all the answers—you just need to be willing to show up, be honest, and get curious about yourself. I especially enjoy working with clients who want more than just a place to vent; they want support, insight, practical tools, and a therapist who will be real with them as they work toward a life and relationships that feel healthier and more authentic.

My treatment methods

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I create space to explore how culture, identity, family, and lived experiences shape how you see yourself and your relationships. My approach is respectful, curious, and tailored to what matters to you.

Eclectic

I don’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. I draw from different therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to your personality, needs, goals, and what works best for you.

Experiential Therapy

I use experiential therapy to help you connect with emotions and patterns in the moment, rather than just talking about them. Together, we explore what’s happening beneath the surface to create deeper understanding and meaningful change.

Humanistic

I create a warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up as your authentic self. I focus on your strengths and experiences while helping you build greater self-awareness, confidence, and growth.

Interpersonal

I help you understand how your relationships and communication patterns impact your emotional well-being. Together, we work on healthier boundaries, stronger communication, and more fulfilling connections.
