New to Grow
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience in mental health. Much of my career has involved helping people in high-stress professions such as law enforcement and other first responders, healthcare workers, and educators. In addition to providing therapy, I’ve also worked alongside these professionals in collaborative, multidisciplinary settings to better understand their unique environments and support the people they serve. Through this work, I’ve gained a deep appreciation for the pressures they face and focus on helping them build resilience, restore balance, and strengthen their overall well-being. I take a flexible, collaborative approach, using solution-focused methods tailored to each person’s goals. I strive to create a supportive space that highlights clients’ strengths and helps them develop practical strategies to feel more balanced, confident, and fulfilled.
During our first session, I like to get to know your goals, challenges, and what brings you to therapy. This setting allows for the opportunity to tailor the treatment focus to each client’s individual needs and also gives a glimpse into my therapeutic approach. Initial sessions are also a time for you, the client to decide whether I am a good fit for you.
I’ve worked extensively in both short- and long-term therapy, as well as psychological assessment, and bring a deep understanding of the stress and trauma that can come with demanding professions. I also spent years working directly in the field alongside first responders during calls, which gave me firsthand insight into the unique challenges they face. My approach is practical and compassionate, focused on helping you build tools to manage stress, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I work with individuals experiencing stress related to their careers, daily life, or home responsibilities, as well as anxiety, depression, or the effects of vicarious trauma. My approach is practical and tailored to each person, using tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and reflective techniques. I aim to help clients not just manage immediate challenges, but also build sustained well-being, develop coping skills, and feel more centered, capable, and at ease in their daily lives.
