“What one person has to offer to another, is their own being, nothing more, nothing less” – Ram Dass.
My therapeutic approach is a strength-based perspective that focuses on a person’s innate potential rather than pathologies and shortfalls. Consistent with this approach, my role as a therapist lies not in solving problems but in helping clients examine inhibited issues and biases, identify practical solutions to their problems and progress toward deeper wisdom.
I have worked with adults, children and families. This experience has included clients of various ethnicities and addressed a range of mental health issues, interpersonal relationship problems, and life transitions. I draw on my experience of 15 years in travel journalism and Corporate America and this understanding helps me support my clients as they navigate the stress and success in their place of work, endure layoffs, reevaluate priorities, and make renewed efforts towards new beginnings.
My therapeutic style is adaptive to the individual needs of my clients. I believe the process of change is an ongoing dialogue. This process can be brief or longer term, depending upon the needs of the client. Sometimes I use mindfulness techniques to supplement therapy.
Having a hard time getting through the day? Struggling to cope in areas that others make look "Easy"? I have years of personal, professional and social experience in helping people who feel this way. As a clinician I focus on mindfulness and internal growth. My mission is to reach as many people as possible who may be suffering in silence and/or don't feel heard. I hope that through strong professional support my clients can make and achieve their goals. My desire is to assist those who work with me in living their best emotionally healthy lives.

Being an African American man growing up in Los Angeles, I have faced my share of challenges and obstacles and when stress sets in, I understand that even the smallest pebble can feel like a major Boulder. I empower Men, Women and Families to seek to understand their struggles, anxieties and life challenges and to overcome them.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, transitional life phases and grief. My goals is to create a safe, non judgmental space where the client can explore their feelings, gain insight, and develop strategies for change. Therapy and meeting a new therapist for the first time can be a little scary, but you've taken the first step, which is great! Hey there!
Maybe you're here because life hasn't been feeling quite right lately.
Maybe you're dealing with anxiety or depression. Maybe you've been feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what you want anymore. From the outside, things might look fine, but inside, you're wondering, Is this really how I want to keep living?
I've always believed that you don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out for help. And therapy isn't about me giving you all the answers. It's about creating a space where we can slow things down, make sense of what's happening, and figure out what comes next.
I work primarily with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, and that feeling of being lost or stuck. Our sessions aren't meant to be you sitting quietly while I ask you question after question. I like therapy to be engaging, practical, and collaborative. Bring a pen and notebook. We'll talk, reflect, feel, make connections, and come up with things you can actually try between sessions.
My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, insight-oriented and solution-focused therapy. I also have EMDR therapy training and am a Certified Breath Coach, giving us different ways to work depending on what you need.
You don't need to arrive with everything figured out.
We can start from wherever you are.

Greetings! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Clinical Supervisor based in California. I received my Masters from the University of Washington and have been practicing since 2006. In my personal experiences, I am a mother to a biological child and a step child. My early years were impacted by toxic relationships, substance abuse, divorce, parental suicide, blending of families. Setting and enforcing boundaries did not come naturally to me and is something I am continuously working on. In my experience as a therapy client, I have disliked working therapists who are blank slates. Therapy is a relational experience and I bring my wisdom and personal experiences into the therapeutic process when appropriate. I help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and avoidant and self-destructive behaviors become the best versions of themselves.

Therapy for anxiety, depression, psychosis, and self-doubt.
For the curious, the sensitive, and the ones who've been told they're “too much.”
If you’re here, maybe you’re carrying a lot. And maybe you’re finally ready to understand why.
I work best with clients who are curious, self-aware, and ready to get into the real stuff — not just the “I’m fine” script. If you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, self-doubt, or the aftershocks of a mental health diagnosis like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder — you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
I work with adults (mostly 26–46) who are insightful, emotionally intelligent, and ready to explore the patterns beneath their symptoms. My clients often identify as women, queer, gay, or somewhere in between. I also love working with family members of folks with serious mental illness (SMI) — and with people living with SMI themselves.
You might be a student juggling survival and identity, or a person who’s held it together for too long. Maybe you've been misunderstood by providers in the past — labeled “too much” or “treatment resistant.” I see you differently.
I’m pro-medicine, pro-choose-if-you-want-medicine, and pro-you-get-to-decide-what-healing-looks-like. (And honestly? Medication saved my life.) We’ll work together to figure out what works for you — whether that’s weekly therapy, biweekly check-ins, or monthly deep dives.
This is a space for unlearning shame, untangling patterns, and giving yourself permission to take up space — even when it feels hard. Let’s get into the layers. Let’s do the work.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), I specialize in supporting first-generation individuals and those who have experienced trauma, postpartum, anxiety, depression, and family challenges. My therapeutic approach integrates client-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic work to offer a holistic and personalized treatment plan that addresses both the mind and body.
I deeply value creating a safe, collaborative, and empathetic space where clients feel heard and supported. My goal is to help clients process past experiences, gain self-acceptance, and build empowerment and confidence. I believe that therapy is a partnership, and I work closely with clients to explore their feelings, foster self-awareness, and help them develop the tools to thrive in their relationships—with themselves, their families, and their partners.
Over the past 6 years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, with a particular focus on first-generation immigrants. I offer services in both English and Spanish and find great fulfillment in helping clients navigate the unique pressures and challenges that come with balancing multiple cultural identities.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #92771) and registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino. I received my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. I received my Master of Art in Infant and Early Childhood Development with an Emphasis of Mental Health and Disorders. I completed the Napa Infant-Parent-Mental Health Fellowship Program through UC Davis Extension in 2017-2018 cohort.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 28 years experience and training with individuals, couples and families who want to take charge of their lives. Together we can explore new coping skills, strengthen existing skills to improve relationships, and sharpen communication skills to enjoy harmony in your life.
My approach is strength based, nontraditional and focuses on your individualized needs. I take an empathetic, common-sense approach to exploring life's problems and guiding you through the issues you are currently facing and the ones you continue to carry from your past.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in California. I received my Masters from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA and have been practicing for 8 years. I help BIPOC LGBTQ+ clients dealing with imposter syndrome and low self-esteem to reconnect to their power and core to better handle the challenges life that brings. I use a holistic approach when getting to know clients, to better understand all of the factors that can cause distress and use that knowledge to create a roadmap to a better life. I use expressive arts as a means for self discovery and understanding, because expression goes beyond just words!
The pressures of the modern world seem never ending, particularly when you deal with an untreated or difficult to treat mental health or substance use issue. I specialize in certain mental health diagnoses including personality disorders, postpartum issues, depression/anxiety, self harm/suicidal ideation. I am prepared to assist you in offering helpful coping strategies, understanding the psychology behind your experiences/symptoms, processing feelings and thoughts, and gaining better traction on your life.
My specialty is in mental health and substance use (dual diagnosis). I am DBT certified. I have worked with individuals impacted by cycles of trauma, violence, and substances in various settings including psychiatric hospitals, county jail, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics. My mission? Help people THRIVE and be SEEN/HEARD despite these circumstances.
I understand that both making sense of the issue(s) at hand and reaching out is incredibly anxiety producing. What I provide is a safe and warm space where you can explore your needs, current feelings, history, and goals. You have the power to stop fighting what is out of your control, and harness your power to control what is just within your grasp.
* At this time, I am only offering sessions for individual clients.

About Me:
I am licensed in California with over 20 years of professional work experience, primarily as a school social worker and school counselor working with teens and their families. I’m excited to also branch out and provide therapy to adults of all ages. I have experience working with a variety of issues; from grief & loss, PTSD, ADHD, depression and anxiety to family conflicts, blended families, separation/divorce and co-parenting, as well as with issues impacting self-esteem, and confidence. I’m excited to work with clients to create an open and safe environment toward better self-expression, understanding & growth!
