Hello and welcome,
My name is Mayra. I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, fluent in both English and Spanish, with over 17 years of experience in the mental health field. I’m passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and discover effective strategies for managing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, communication struggles, divorce, and grief.
I understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming or even intimidating but you’re not alone in this. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of working with individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I value each person’s unique story and am committed to tailoring therapy to meet your specific needs and goals.
Taking the first step is often the hardest, but it can also be the beginning of meaningful change. I look forward to the opportunity to work alongside you on your path toward healing and growth.
Welcome! My name is Tamer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked for nearly 10 years in different capacities such as refugee resettlement, disability rights, substance use recovery, community health, and LGBTQIA+ centered care. I am most excited about creative self-expression, and I believe in person-centered approaches to understand the powerful role that stories play in shaping our everyday lives. I also find tremendous value in working together to deconstruct how these stories show up in the context of anxiety, stress, depression, and trauma.
Seeking therapy is one of the most courageous steps you can take for yourself. Whether you want to heal past wounds, resolve conflict in your relationships, or better manage the stressors of life, therapy is the space where your goals and values are prioritized. It is where you can feel safe to be vulnerable and open. Because there is no singular way to engage in treatment, therapy does not conform to strict constructs, norms, or stereotypes. Rather, therapy is meant to reflect your authentic self and promote the innate power you hold. The right therapist should honor the nuances of your life’s journey, while also helping explore the path forward that you want to lead.
In the words of Brené Brown, “Story stewardship means honoring the sacred nature of story–the ones we share and the ones we hear–and knowing that we’ve been entrusted with something valuable or that we have something that we should treat with respect and care." I look forward to honoring your journey here, and your journey forward. Thank you so much!

Through my therapy journey I have gained much experience in working with diverse people. Welcome, it takes motivation and courage to reach out for assistance with life's challenges; I appreciate you taking time out of your day to review my profile. From my 15+ years in the field of Social Work I strongly believe that Talk Therapy can have an overwhelmingly positive impact upon various mental health conditions, cognitions and coping skills. Having an early love of books, and social justice inspired me to eventually enter the field of Social Work. I received my BA from Tufts University and my MSW from The University of Washington.

Hi I'm Kristina Gonzalez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing for the past 10 years. I received my Masters in Social Work in California in 2016 and have worked with a wide array of clientele. I started my career supporting individuals cope with the previous and current experiences of intimate partner violence. I then went on to support adults in crisis in a psychiatric care facility, support children and families cope with life transitions related to neuro-developmental disorders, and for many years worked with Military Veterans struggling with various psycho-social concerns in their communities. Since 2021 I have been providing virtual mental health services to adults struggling with an array of concerns all over California from various walks of life.
Hi there! My name is Chelsea and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. In the past, I've had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients of all ages and backgrounds. I believe my communication style is calm and gentle, while still being direct. I do my best to provide a nonjudgmental space wherein the clients I work with can feel comfortable sharing their concerns. I will also challenge clients when appropriate, to allow them to develop insight into ways they can change their thoughts or behaviors in a way that would be helpful for them.
My goal is to empower clients to reach their goals, so they can learn tools and techniques to help them better build upon their strengths and manage mental health symptoms. Eventually, my hope is for all of my clients to feel they are in a place where they can manage symptoms and life stressors on their own, through utilizing the skills they've learned throughout therapy. But until that time, I aim to help my clients learn how to change maladaptive patterns of behavior, and learn ways of helping their selves manage the challenges they are facing.

Hello, my name is Virginia.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage Family Therapist in California. I have experience working with various ages from 3 to 50-years-old. I have worked in community-based mental health services to intense services with children, youth, and adults.
Do you ever feel mixed emotions about specific events, situations, or relationships? Do you want to become more self-aware of yourself as an individual and increase your motivation?
I love exploring self-awareness and self-love. I have a very open-minded style but can also be transparent to help motivate and challenge you. I enjoy making a difference in others’ lives. I believe that “On the other side of FEAR is SUCCESS.” Let’s work together to create change.
Welcome! I'm Lanelle P. Laws, LMFT. For over 15 years, I've had the privilege of helping people overcome challenges related to trauma, incarceration, depression, anxiety, and LGBTQ+ identity. My passion is empowering individuals to build their self-esteem and thrive.
I offer an environment that is non-judgmental, comfortable, and encouraging but from a BIPOC approach. I'm a unique therapist because my lived experience gives me relatability that others do not have. I have dedicated my life to breaking generational traumas that have plagued most underserved communities and I aim to bring voices to marginalized populations that have been misrepresented. I always say, "I'm not your average therapist!" I don't say this because I'm better...I say this because my approach has been elevated to attract individuals that have fallen through the cracks due to unhealthy relationships with therapy.
I know what it's like to need help and not be able to find it...let me "Change Ur Narrative".
I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained my master's in social work from California State University, Long Beach. I have over ten years of experience in my field and have had the opportunity to work in various settings including child welfare, hospice, hospitals and the education system. As a professional who has worked in a variety of settings, I am here to support you as you navigate life's transitions, adjust to new circumstances, and overcome challenging obstacles on your journey toward healing and personal growth.
I’m Juliana Mott Fabio, LCSW, and I specialize in supporting adults who are navigating grief, life transitions, anxiety, and the quiet emotional weight that can build when life feels overwhelming. Many of my clients come to therapy during seasons when they feel unsteady—after a loss, during a major shift in identity or relationships, or when old patterns of coping no longer feel sustainable. My role is to offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can slow down, reflect, and understand what you’re carrying with gentleness rather than judgment.
With a background in hospice, bereavement counseling, crisis work, and somatic practices, I bring both clinical experience and a deep respect for the human experience. I blend talk therapy with somatic and mindfulness-based tools to help clients reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and feel more present and supported in daily life. Together, we explore what is no longer serving you, strengthen your resilience, and identify new ways of relating to yourself and others.
My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel seen, understood, and empowered—where you can process your emotions, rebuild your sense of self, and move forward with clarity and confidence. You don’t have to navigate these transitions alone.
I have worked in various environments, which have included community mental health and medical settings. Throughout my time as a clinician, I have provided services to individuals, couples and families. My cultural background as well as my personal experiences have given me an awareness and a sensitivity to the vast cultural and social identities that exist. I am committed to leading with warmth, empathy, and a fundamental curiosity that reserves assumptions.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and major life transitions—especially those who are used to holding everything together for everyone else. In therapy, we approach your story like a collaborative puzzle: you bring the pieces, and together we make sense of the bigger picture so you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and grow.
I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and chronic life stress by offering a warm, practical, and personalized space for reflection and healing. My approach blends compassion with actionable strategies, helping you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed and looking for a therapist who understands the pressure of balancing work, relationships, and daily responsibilities, I’m here to help you move toward clarity and calm.

I've been a therapist dedicated to supporting diverse communities for over a decade. My firsthand experience with the foster care system, along with my own identity as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, shapes my approach to therapy. I understand the unique challenges of navigating different cultures, family structures, and personal identities. In my sessions, expect a touch of... quirkiness. I bring a lot of humor into my sessions because sometimes you need to be able to laugh at the dark.

Sometimes we get to a point in our lives where the way we were doing things is no longer working, and something has to change. Do you feel like you're stuck in the same pattern but not sure how to change it? I strive to create a warm, trusting, and safe relationship for you to be able to express your authentic self, without fear of judgement. I believe that healing and change are possible given the right tools. I work through a psychodynamic and person-centered lens, where we can explore your past experiences to learn how they have shaped who you are today and determine where to go next to create a more sustainable and fulfilling life. I utilize Mindful Self-Compassion tools and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to support clients in creating lasting changes.
Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I received my masters from Hope International University in Fullerton, CA and have been working with clients for 5 years. I help adults who are trying to navigate and find themselves in the world. Having a family systems background, I love learning about you and your background as well as identifying generational patterns.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist in California who works with adults who appear successful on the outside but are experiencing internal overwhelm, anxiety, or emotional fatigue. I combine Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family System (IFS) and somatic therapy with a holistic approach that supports both psychological understanding and nervous system regulation.
Many of my clients are navigating demanding careers, family responsibilities, or major life transitions while quietly carrying unresolved emotional burdens. I provide a grounded space to slow down, process what’s underneath, and build a more centered, sustainable relationship with yourself.
My name is Lizzy and I am a clinical social worker based in San Diego but origially from the bay area. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults coping with anxiety, trauma, and gender dysphoria. I have worked in school, community and hospital-based settings I am strength based, client centered and use a social justice framework, and am affirming to the LGBTQIA+ community.
I’m an LCSW with over 20 years experience in counseling individuals, couples, and groups. I specialize in issues of self esteem, relationships, and in helping clients find out exactly what they need in order to feel confident, calm, hopeful, and on-track.
Often, new clients come in with some degree of anxiety, depression, or both. Don't worry if this is true for you. I'm highly experienced and my clients have told me they've benefited greatly in reduction of these symptoms.
I don't believe that pain is useful in any way. I believe in insight, relief, and healing as quickly as possible.
My style is inquisitive and interactive — I want to know what you need to tell me. I want to know what is causing your life to be anything less than pleasant, safe, and manageable. I want you to be okay, to feel okay, and to be confident in yourself and in your choices and relationships: I want you to feel certain that you are worthy, and that it is good to be you.
And while most of my clients do present with some degree of past trauma, or injury to their sense of being worthy and needed, the fact is that life is not easy for anyone. But if we are carrying unhealed wounds, every setback or disappointment can bring back pain from the past.
I find that once the major wound of how we see ourselves is healed, then the rest of life’s problems are much easier to resolve.
So whether anxiety or depression, or conflict in a relationship has brought you here; I'm ready to help you find out what you want and need, and what's in the way.
I don't believe in suffering. I do believe in relief, in hope, and learning how to undo pain.
Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my masters in clinical mental health counseling from California State University, Fullerton( go Titans!). I have practiced therapy for the past 6 years. I am a proud queer and gender diverse therapist that has experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I strive to provide LGBTQIA affirming care through all of my work.
I work with individuals who grew up with a pervasive sense that they were “outside the box”. Perhaps this was due to neurodivergence, cultural differences or struggles with gender and/or sexuality. Many of my clients arrive with previous diagnoses of ADHD, autism, anxiety and/or depression. They often have a creative side that has been suppressed in order to focus more on developing a professional self. Many of my clients report feeling like they have to wear a mask in the workplace and in social situations. It is not uncommon for them to feel lost, numb or lacking direction in their life.
As a therapist, my strengths are in my ability to follow creative lines and tie together seemingly complex thought and behavior systems to give you deeper awareness of the issues that present for you. My education and experience in community health and mental healthcare has prepared me as a therapist to provide therapeutic care that goes beyond asking deep questions. My approach to therapy is non-judgmental and is driven by the strengths of my clients.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Together we can find a path.

Do you find yourself repeating family patterns that don’t serve you? This can be due to childhood trauma. Childhood trauma can leave you with the sense that there's something wrong with you; that you are defective/different/unlovable. These feelings are likely projections that you received from your caregivers. If this resonates with you and you want to change those patterns, then I will support you to explore the connection between your past experiences–often from childhood–and your current mindset. I work with Women’s Mental Health Concerns such as menopause, Grief, Anxiety, Depression, and job stress.
Hello! I am a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) who has been working in the field of Social Work for the past 21 years. I have a passion for guiding clients towards mental health wellness that is integrative of Body, Mind, and Spirit. I am a Strengths Based Therapist. This means that I fully trust that every client that sits in front of me definitely has established strengths and strengths just waiting to be discovered. I so look forward to us working together from a place of curiosity and wonder towards your mental health wellness.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker in California with extensive experience supporting youth in schools, foster adolescents, and young adults. In recent years, I’ve focused on helping young adults navigate the emotional and psychological barriers that hinder educational and career goals.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practice and individualized, client-centered care. I aim to create a supportive, compassionate space where clients feel understood and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges.
My clinical approach emphasizes strengthening self-esteem, reducing anxiety, and building the motivation needed to pursue personal goals. I use a nonjudgmental, down-to-earth style that helps clients feel safe enough to do honest work. Much of our focus includes identifying and unpacking past trauma and the unhelpful beliefs or patterns that contribute to emotional, psychological, and physical distress.
Ultimately, my goal is to help clients move toward a healthier, more grounded, and more fulfilling life.
I’m a Latino therapist who specializes in working with trauma, identity, and the emotional weight that comes from growing up in high-stress environments. I help people make sense of patterns rooted in past experiences — whether that’s family dysfunction, grief, street violence, or cultural pressure — so they can move through life with more clarity and less emotional reactivity.
My style is honest, direct, and grounded. I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and listens — I’ll challenge you when needed and help you get to the core of what’s keeping you stuck. I work especially well with first-generation men, individuals processing childhood or gang-related trauma, and those navigating the tension between cultural loyalty and personal growth.
I’ve spent the last five years working across community mental health, jail reentry, and school-based settings — including the LA County Department of Mental Health, homeless outreach in South Central, and now as a therapist in a middle school. My approach is shaped by both clinical training and real-life experience supporting clients in some of the most challenging situations.
I’m Sarai Tovar, a licensed therapist dedicated to providing compassionate, trauma informed care that fosters healing and personal growth. I specialize in crisis intervention and draw from proven, evidence based therapies tailored to your unique needs. I’m passionate about working with individuals across all ages who are navigating life’s mental health challenges—whether it’s anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, grief, anger, personal growth, or the unique experiences faced by members of the United States Armed Forces. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change.
Hi! I am Carina Bedolla. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and have a Doctorate in Social Work. I have served as a therapist for 8 years and have spent the majority of my time serving the substance-use population. My time serving this population inspired my pursuit of becoming EMDR trained, given the degree of stressors and trauma this population is impacted by.
Hello. My name is Brian Kaufman. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I am licensed in California with over 20 years of professional experience. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My commitment to you is to be by your side every step of the way. I believe there is goodness inside of everyone and I will be sure to point out to you where that goodness is inside of you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
I am a bilingual-Spanish-speaking, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years experience in the mental health field. My specialty is focused on individuals over the age of 21 dealing with anxiety, depression, postpartum, grief and loss, life transitions, and women's issues. My training consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Interpersonal Therapy, Crisis Therapy, Motivational Therapy, etc.; however, when providing services to clients, I prefer to utilize a Solution-Focused approach to help clients achieve their mental health goals. I believe that there is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapy and that collaboration and trust with my clients is key to success in therapy. My goal is to help and empower others who are struggling to heal so that they can have a better future and not continue to live in the pain of the past. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching a movie/show, or reading a book.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to helping you learn how to cultivate the life you deserve and want. My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, thinking patterns, and self-limiting beliefs that create daily barriers to life fulfillment. I believe in taking a collaborative approach towards helping clients reach their goals. I hold space for you to narrate your journey without fear or judgment. I welcome your invitation to walk beside you in letting go of the things and ideas that no longer serve you. You deserve the opportunity to cultivate a better you.
Welcome! I’m Madeleine Leclaire.
