Hi, my name is Vienna Aslanian, and I have been practicing as a licensed therapist since the beginning of 2017. I chose to become a therapist after practicing in the field of social work with children and families. Witnessing the trauma and the way that trauma impacted those individual lives caused me to develop an interest in and concern for individuals struggling with PTSD and childhood trauma. Seeing the intergenerational struggles and hearing people's personal stories on the matter made me interested in the field of therapy. I have always enjoyed listening to people's stories and making a genuine connection with someone. I believe in the healing power of therapy and the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I believe in the importance of active listening and supportive guidance. I believe in the importance of empathy and nonjudgment; I value making you feel cared about and understood. I hold myself to high expectations regarding reliability and consistency in order to provide the best support and care possible. I attend training regularly on the best and most effective practices/therapeutic modalities.

I’m a husband and dad to three boys (ages 16, 13 and 8), and family is a huge part of my life. We live on a 20-acre homestead where we raise chickens, goats, pigs, and cows, and we spend a lot of time in the garden. Life on the farm keeps me grounded and reminds me daily of the value of patience, hard work, and slowing down to enjoy what really matters. Faith and community are also central for me. I’m actively involved in my church, and I see my work as an extension of that calling to walk alongside others.
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak. Alongside my therapy work, I am starting a tech start-up, I’ve run an online store, and I even dabble in Bitcoin mining. I enjoy the challenge of building things from the ground up and thinking outside the box. I also read a lot, and my libertarian leanings have been shaped by writers like Murray Rothbard. The conservative/libertarian focus on freedom, personal responsibility and low time preference connects deeply with how I approach life and therapy: we’re at our best when we are free to live with responsibility in society, own our choices, and pursue truth apart from coercion.
When it comes to therapy itself, I integrate my faith with practical, proven methods. I use Christian Counseling, CBT, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and the Gottman Method to help people grow emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. My goal is to give you a space where your values are respected, your faith is honored, and you feel equipped to face life’s challenges with hope and clarity.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the importance of faith, family, freedom, and practical tools for change, I’d love to walk with you on your journey.

Outside the therapy room, I find joy in traveling, lifelong learning, reading, and cherishing time with my friends and family. I’m also deeply connected to the mind–body relationship and believe that true healing honors both. And on any given day, you’ll likely hear me mention my love of animals—especially my beloved corgis—who remind me daily of the importance of presence, curiosity, and play.
