I am a provider who really is nonjudgmental and believes in everyone's ability to grow as humans. It is my calling to help folks who struggle with trauma, identity, life transitions, relationships, and mental health. I believe in meeting clients where they are and providing a safe space to express thoughts and feelings that clients are afraid may be "too much". I will sit with you and guide you through this messy but beautiful thing we call life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session we will get to know each other more. You are free to ask me questions and I believe that this session is so important to build safety, trust, and rapport. If you're comfortable, you can dive right in but if you're not quite comfortable yet, I will meet you wherever you are with patience and support.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe in self-determination and will not try to tell you how to live your life unless you want my guidance. I provide psychoeducation so that you can make the best decision for your personal needs. I have a warm and supportive approach but I'm also not afraid to engage in real talk if appropriate, however I do so with kindness, care, and respect. I've been a social worker for 20 years, so I really do think I've heard many things during my career. As a result, I do not judge or shy away from what my clients bring to me. I am a collaborator who honors where clients are at. After sessions with me, clients feel heard and seen, cared for, understood, and calmer in their minds and bodies. Clients also report that they feel better prepared to tackle their problems and cope with life stressors.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You're tired of struggling but don't know where to start. You're told (or you just feel) that you're too much or not enough. You're tired of repeating family and relationship patterns or you're having difficulty setting boundaries with your family or partner. I enjoy helping folks navigate life transitions, difficult relationships, past trauma, mental health issues, and individuals who don't have a safe space to express and work through their thoughts and feelings. This might be your first time in therapy or you may have years of experience and you're looking for a nonjudgmental therapist who will collaborate with you to help you be your best self. You might be afraid of feeling judged, or you might doubt that therapy will actually help. If so, I'm here for you.
