I'm a Licensed Professional counselor in Arizona who provides individual counseling sessions to Adults (18+) who are in need of help in navigating life transitions, stress, mental health, self-worth, and Trauma/PTSD. My approach to therapy is to be supportive, practical, non-judgmental, and collaborative with my clients. I focus on helping clients better understand themselves, build new behavioral and cognitive habits, and develop coping skills for long lasting change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another better. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any challenges you have been facing. I will ask questions to gather information on your biopsychosocial background and to begin formulating a treatment plan for counseling services and to support you moving forward in your journey.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach stands out due to providing a supportive, open minded, and secure environment that the client feels safe to express and be open during therapy. I tailor interventions and every therapy to meet the client's needs/wants while collaborating and re-evaluating the needs/wants at every session.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have a broad spectrum of clients I serve, and I am positioned to help many different populations. I have extended training in CBT modalities and provide EMDR therapy, so I have many clients that are focusing on past and/or present trauma, clients who want to change their thinking patterns about a situation or how they view themselves, and clients who need help transitioning out/in a certain stage or circumstance in their lives.
