Mental wellness isn't just about what is happening in our minds, rather it is deeply connected to our environment, our social structures, and our lived experiences. With a professional background rooted in systemic advocacy, housing case management, and youth mentorship, my practice is built on the understanding that real emotional healing requires a foundation of physical, environmental, and psychological safety. I offer a space that is both deeply compassionate and grounded, where you can feel safe to explore your most authentic self. Hi, I'm Carla, and I'm glad you're here. Reaching out for therapy isn't always easy, and I believe finding the right therapist is an important first step. I work with women who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, burnout, low self-esteem, or the constant pressure of trying to hold everything together. Whether you're balancing work, family, relationships, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you don't have to navigate it alone. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. At the same time, I believe therapy should be practical. I won't just listen; we'll work together to understand what's keeping you stuck, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, and develop realistic strategies you can use in your everyday life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and person-centered techniques, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. I also value cultural humility and understand how life experiences, family expectations, identity, and personal values can shape the way we experience stress and healing. My goal is to help you feel more confident, develop healthier coping skills, strengthen your self-worth, and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. I believe meaningful change happens one step at a time, and you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. If you're ready to invest in yourself and start creating lasting change, I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

Hi, I'm Daphne — a Licensed Professional Counselor and State-Approved Clinical Supervisor. For over a decade, I've walked alongside adults learning to be gentler with themselves, steadier in their emotions, and more confident in their lives. I work best with people navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and mood-related struggles. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just curious about who you're becoming, therapy can be a soft place to land — a space to understand yourself, build real tools, and create change that lasts. My approach is warm, collaborative, and shaped around you. I blend DBT, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and psychoeducation — because understanding *how* your mind and emotions work is a powerful part of healing. I also make room for the spiritual and faith dimensions of your story, because healing isn't only in the mind. I bring an uplifting, grounded energy, and I love using imagery to help you see yourself and your life in new, hopeful ways. I work best with clients who are curious, open, and ready to show up for their own growth. Together, we'll build on the strengths you already carry and move toward the life you're building. Clients often leave with steadier emotions, deeper self-understanding, healthier relationships, and renewed confidence. It's my joy to hold your story gently while helping you grow. A note: Requests for letters, evaluations, or documentation outside of standard therapy services require additional fees and aren't billable to insurance. ESA letters are available after intake and two additional therapy sessions.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. I work with clients who are thoughtful, introspective, and motivated to better understand themselves but may feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, or uncertainty about their direction in life. Many people I work with are navigating questions related to identity, relationships, purpose, or major life transitions. My goal is to help clients gain clarity about the patterns influencing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can move forward with greater confidence and intention. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These approaches help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, and build practical strategies that improve daily functioning. I also incorporate narrative and reflective techniques that allow clients to explore the personal stories and experiences that shape how they see themselves and the choices they make. An important part of my work involves helping clients move beyond insight and into meaningful action. Therapy often includes identifying automatic thought patterns, practicing grounding and emotional regulation strategies, and experimenting with new behaviors that align with a client’s values and long-term goals. I also use structured check-ins and evidence-based tools to track progress over time. By regularly reviewing mood patterns, emotional changes, and skill development, clients are able to see measurable progress while staying focused on what matters most to them. Clients often describe my approach as collaborative, thoughtful, and practical. Together, we create a space where clients can reflect deeply on their experiences while also developing the tools needed to navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Welcome, and thank you for looking at my mental health provider profile. I hope we are able to work together in counseling to help you through a difficult time and improve the quality of your life. My education and experience include bachelors (Idaho State University} and master's degrees (University of British Columbia) in Social Work. I am clinically licensed in Washington and Idaho states. My background is in physical and mental health with internships in Hospice, and inpatient psychiatric hospital for severely mentally ill, and in end-of-life AIDS care. My employment has included hospital social work, emergency department social work, mental health and suicide assessments and safety planning including hospitalization, if necessary, trauma (physical and emotional), and grief and end-of-life counseling. I also did several years of private mental health practice with individuals, couples and children. Most recently I worked with high-risk adolescent youth who failed foster care and were placed by the State in residential care. I am unmarried with very close children and grandchildren. I have 3 dogs and a couple of mice-cats, and chickens for their eggs. I grew up in a military (US Marine Corp) family in California and on the east coast, eventually settling back in California. I left California for college and university then settled in rural Washington State. I enjoy the company and consultation of my sisters who are a clinical social worker and a registered nurse. I enjoy home improvement projects, training my dogs, attempts at vegetable gardening with limited success, family gatherings playing with grandchildren and grand nieces and nephews, exploring historical and cultural connections from the Appalachian Mountains, and reading books and watching movies, especially historical fiction. One of my favorite things that sustain my emotional well-being is to laugh and have fun with the people I love.

Hello! I'm John, a compassionate and grounded therapist. I practice psychodynamic therapy, drawing on narrative, somatic, and EMDR approaches to meet you where you are and tailor sessions to your needs. I spent the last five years working with teens, young adults, and parents at a local community health organization, and I'm excited to bring that experience to Grow Therapy. I see change as a marathon, not a sprint. We'll start by focusing on immediate symptom reduction — helping you move out of constant fight-or-flight reactions. Once you're not in that reactive state so often, we can work toward deeper, lasting change. It took years for you to get where you are, so established patterns won't shift overnight. Part of our work together will be helping you build compassion for yourself along the way. You're human, and you won't be perfect. Real change happens when you make the same old mistake, remember you're on a healing journey, extend yourself some grace, do the necessary repair work, and try again. I especially love working with parents at every stage of life. Parenting is a hard job — nobody can push our buttons quite like our own kids. As a parent myself, I understand how difficult it can be to stay grounded and offer loving, consistent boundaries when our kids — whether babies, toddlers, teens, or adults — are testing us. My approach is tailored to your needs: I use somatic tools to help your body learn what calm and safety feel like, cognitive tools to help shift how you think about and approach situations, and pattern-recognition work to help you identify habits formed early in life — so you can notice your reactions in the moment and choose to respond differently.

Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. Therefore, I began to inquire about what I needed to do in order to be a part of the solution. I began to work in the field and I have worked in Behavioral/Mental Health for close to 20 years. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I provide clients with a space full of compassion and support to help them overcome obstacles and move forward in life. My therapeutic experience mostly consists of services provided to adult and adolescent clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, and stress related issues. I tailor various therapeutic modalities such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology and Motivational Interviewing according to the client’s individual needs and wants. I believe that everyone is entitled to pursue and live a fulfilling and happy life. I believe that a large part of wellness is having healthy, meaningful relationships, not just with others, but with ourselves.

Many of the individuals and couples I work with are at a crossroads—frustrated, sometimes burnt out, and seeking practical, workable strategies for change. Therapy offers a dedicated, supportive space to identify obstacles and map a path toward meaningful personal growth. With over 15 years of experience across healthcare, restorative justice, and outpatient settings, I provide telehealth therapy at Grow for adults and couples. My practice focuses on: *Chronic Pain & Complex Medical Issues *Anxiety & Phobias *Fertility & Family Building Support *LGBTQ+ & Gender-Affirming Care *Eating Disorder/Substance Use Step-Down Maintenance: Supporting ongoing recovery from substance use or eating disorders following higher levels of care. *Couples Therapy: Improving communication and relational dynamics (clinical outpatient focus only). Practice Boundaries & Administrative Policies To maintain a clear focus on clinical care, please review the following scope boundaries: *Legal & Forensic Services: I do not provide forensic evaluations, court-ordered treatment, litigation support, or expert witness testimony for legal proceedings, divorce, or custody disputes. *Disability & Administrative Paperwork: I do not perform disability evaluations or complete short/long-term disability claims; I do not write Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters. *Telehealth & Medical Requirements: Virtual therapy for chronic pain, ARFID, or medical distress serves strictly as a complementary psychological service. Because virtual care lacks physical monitoring: A. Clients with ARFID or eating disorders must maintain ongoing care with an in-person physician for routine medical safety. B. Clients seeking pain reprocessing or somatic therapy must have their pain evaluated by a physician. ******If medical or psychiatric needs exceed virtual outpatient scope, I will assist with referrals to local in-person providers**************

My name is Janet Muta and I am a Licensed Clinician with over 17 years of experience in mental health, behavioral issues and relationships. I treat individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is treating the whole person because most of the time our problems are the outcome of more than just one thing and when I get to know you I am able to address different issues that could be contributing to that one specific problem. We all experience some difficulties in our lives sometimes and we all cope differently. What works for one person/couple who are experiencing a similar situation may not work for another and so I personalize your treatment to fit you. Being in therapy is like being on a journey, I make sure you are in the driver’s seat and I become your great working GPS, guiding you to your desired destination. I also hold a degree in finance which sometimes comes handy when helping those who are stressed due to financial needs. Among the treatment modalities I use are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Parenting, Contingency Management...

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, supported, and understood. My goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical skills to help you move forward. I tailor therapy to your unique needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques to find what works best for you and your goals. My experience includes working in public and nonprofit mental health settings with both children and adults. If it is important to you, I am also happy to incorporate your Christian faith into counseling while blending faith-based principles with evidence-based care.
