Hey! I'm glad that you are looking to get therapy. Here are some things to know about me while making you decision on what works well for you. I come from a military life style allowing me to travel the world and see all kinds of cultures. Because of this I see value in everyone. I believe in getting results in therapy. I want to see people change as fast as they want to or are willing to. So I give things to practice in every session.
I believe in poly vagal theory and teach clients to release emotions from there nervous system not just cope with it. I often say I consider myself more of a trainer than therapist sometimes. Hellooo! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist living in Virginia. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in 2008.
I have lived in many different places but mostly I grew up in eastern North Carolina and Europe. Having parents from western New York and southern West Virginia, I was raised in a "northern" household in a "southern" environment. I like to think these contrasts in my life have helped me learn to adapt and identify with many different types of people. While I value the privilege of being an American, I love what other nationalities contribute to my world. Standing beside my clients and walking with them through their difficult times is one of my greatest joys.
I provide a client centered approach that is compassionate with a judgement free zone that empowers you to make the changes in your life that you desire. I am simply a guide and supportive entity that helps you create your new life.
I have years of experience providing services to individuals struggling with mental illness, addictions and transitioning from the prison system. I believe diversity is the heart of American culture and love providing services to individuals from various cultural and social economic backgrounds.

I utilize evidence-based therapy models focused on my clients' strengths, abilities, and unique life experiences in efforts to improve quality of life and restore overall health and wellness. Hello! Thank you for your time! I'm Janel McDonald, and I aim to provide compassionate, non-judgmental, empathetic care. My mission is to ease your apprehension and provide you with a safe and comfortable place to discuss your specific motivation for seeking counseling services. I served in the military for 22 years and have experience working with military veterans and civilians through some of the most challenging transitions in their lives. In the past four years, I have been working with clients by meeting via telehealth in their homes and the community to overcome barriers to treatment (e.g., transportation and childcare).
My job as your therapist is to address the areas in your life where you need help. You don't have to do it alone. So, whenever you're ready, don't hesitate to get in touch with me, and let me share your path to grow towards a better tomorrow.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in helping individuals manage depression, anxiety, and life’s challenges. My approach combines evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing with empathy and understanding to create a safe, supportive space for growth. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to identify goals, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. My goal is to empower you to feel more confident, resilient, and hopeful as you move toward the life you want.
Hi, I'm Morgan. My schedule has officially reopened to new clients! I know how isolating and tough it can feel when life gets heavier than you can carry or when you're constantly second-guessing yourself. I'm here to help untangle the tangled, and to help you find real relief from the pressures you're feeling. My clients are often people who appear to have it "together" on the outside but feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. You don't have to do this alone.
I have always had the conscious goal of supporting others with being able to overcome their hardships and internal challenges that prevents them from being successful. I am a firm believer that in life we have all experienced some type of challenge that will impact our thoughts and emotions. For some people the challenge is more difficult than others and they will experience greater hardship and internal challenges that will send them on a spiral to the unknown. Being a therapist has always been a desire of mine to support others with understanding their thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors associated with how they feel.
I've been working in mental health for 15 years, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in
Virginia, Ohio, and Georgia. Most of what I do centers around anxiety, ADHD, autism, trauma, and
PTSD — but I work with people dealing with a lot of different things, and I'm not going to tell
you your situation doesn't qualify. I see kids, teens, adults, couples, and families, so if you're
looking for someone who can work with your family across different ages, that's something I
can do.
I'm a Certified Trauma Specialist and trained in integrative mental health, which means I bring
more tools to the table than just talk therapy. I'm neurodivergence-affirming and work with
people across a wide range of identities and communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and
single parents. A lot of my clients have been carrying something for a long time before they
finally reach out — that's more common than you'd think, and it's never too late to start.

So if you're feeling sad, anxious or even overwhelmed and need support for change communication is key-let's talk about it.
Communication is key-let's talk about it.
Remember overall health includes mental health.
I’m a therapist who works with teens (13–17) and adults (18+) who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their heads, or just tired of holding everything together on their own. A lot of the people I work with look like they’re doing “fine” on the outside, but inside they’re dealing with anxiety, stress, low mood, or feeling like they’re falling behind in school, work, relationships, or life in general.
In therapy, I offer a space where you don’t have to filter yourself or pretend you’re okay. Together, we focus on making sense of what you’re feeling, finding practical ways to cope, and helping you feel more grounded and in control of your day-to-day life. The goal is simple: to help you feel more like yourself again, with tools that actually fit your real life.
My name is Bethany Gravely. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2018. I continue to feel the same passion for my job now as I did when I first started.
I am so proud of you for taking the first step to talk about your mental health. Choosing the right therapist can be a rewarding experience, but also scary. It is my job to help you navigate the stressors of life and explore different ways for you to cope with them. We all experience stress on some level so your feelings are valid and worth discussing with someone who truly cares!
My style of counseling allows for you to be in charge of your therapy. If you want helpful reading material, evidenced based practices, solutions or just a listening ear, my goal is to help you with where you are today. You are not a burden. You are not undeserving. You are not broken, or a mess to be cleaned up. You are so endlessly enough.
When I’m not working, I am spending time with my husband, our two little ones, our 3 dogs, and our cat. We just recently bought a 40 acre farm and spend our free time making it our forever home! We are hopeful to bring in larger farm animals in the upcoming years and learn to homestead!
