Trauma hurts. It can be sudden, life-altering and overwhelming, or chronic, subtle and nearly unnoticeable, but either way it can change the way we think about others, the world, and unfortunately, ourselves. Dealing with the aftermath—changes in our relationships, lashing out toward self or others, feeling nothing and/or everything all at once—is sometimes as hard as the initial event, especially when society, friends and family and our own minds tell us to “just get over it.” Worse, sometimes we aren’t even sure where the trauma came from in the first place, leaving us confused and even feeling hopeless. If you could just “get over it,” you would, but sometimes the brain simply cannot process traumatic events without help, and this is why trauma therapy exists. :)

I am a New Jersey native and have over 20 years of professional experience working in various clinical and supportive facilities such as Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Outpatient Treatment, State Residential Treatment Centers, Community Mental Health Clinics, Employee Assistance Programs, and Assisted Living centers.
I'm Kiandra Harry, a licensed professional counselor and I approach therapy in an inviting and validating way, as you are the expert in your life. I have a Bachelors in Psychology, Master's in Counseling and I am currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I'm a solution focused therapist that will help you find healthy solutions to solving your issues and concerns and live your life on your terms. I am also a registered Twogether in Texas provider, which means that I provide premarital education and or counseling that is recognized by the state of Texas for marriage license incentives.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, or a struggle with substance use, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I help adults across Texas find clarity, stability, and a path forward even when life feels heavy, chaotic, or simply “too much right now.” As both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, I’m one of the few providers in West Texas who can treat mental health and substance use together, in one therapeutic relationship. You deserve a place where you feel understood, supported, and not judged. When you’re ready, I’m here to help you take the next step.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I’m passionate about helping individuals create meaningful change through a compassionate, solution-focused approach. My practice is rooted in the belief that you already have the tools within you—we’ll just work together to uncover and strengthen them. My style is warm, inclusive, and collaborative. I aim to meet you with authenticity and empathy, while challenging you to move forward with intention and confidence.
I work with adults navigating a variety of life experiences and mental health challenges, with a focus on:
Anxiety & Depression
Coping Skills & Stress Management
Burnout & Life Transitions
LGBTQIA Affirming Support
Women’s Issues
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about the next steps in your journey, I offer a safe and supportive space to explore what matters most to you.
Children and teens are my happy place! I would never ask a client to grow and change before they are ready. Through a solution-focused approach, we move at a pace that is soothing for the individual. There is no time like the present to learn how to examine your feelings and then express them in a way that will help you flourish!
