I have acquired over 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues & self-esteem issues. It is a joy to see sustainable progress clients make with taking charge of their lives. My therapy style is compassionate and nonjudgmental. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and refrain from stigmatizing labels.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the 1st session, I want you to feel listened to and empowered as this is the first step towards change. I take careful notice to ensure that your wants and needs are priority.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

What makes me unique as a therapist is following the lead of the client. One of my greatest strengths is active listening as this allows for the client to feel the utmost importance in expressing how they feel. As a therapist, it's important to get an understanding & not make assumptions to ensure the client is provided with the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Change is a matter of choice. When a person takes the necessary steps toward change, it requires courage and support. I want to encourage your efforts toward making the necessary life changes with the assurance that you’re not alone. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to assist and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT in my practice for the past five years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. Once you become aware of your thinking patterns, you can begin to acquire tools to help change your thinking, which can increase your ability to feel more in control & experience less distress, which will enable you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
