Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas and Louisiana. I earned my Master’s degree in General Counseling & Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. My interest in mental health began in high school when I took a psychology course, and it grew as I worked at a mental health agency, where I realized my passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges. I work with adults on a variety of concerns, including anxiety, anger management, family challenges, ADD/ADHD, ODD, career guidance, and academic difficulties. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and safe space where you can openly share your experiences and work toward meaningful goals. Together, we’ll explore strategies to manage symptoms, improve relationships, and enhance overall well-being.
In your first session with me, we’ll take the time to get to know each other and understand the challenges you’re experiencing. I’ll ask questions about your goals, concerns, and history, and together we’ll begin identifying strategies and supports that fit your needs. My focus is on creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can openly share your experiences, so we can start building a plan to help you feel more in control, improve your well-being, and work toward the changes you want to see.
I utilize cognitive behavioral and rational emotive therapy in a client centered manner.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my emphasis on creating a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment where clients feel heard and understood. I combine evidence-based strategies with a personalized approach, tailoring interventions to each person’s unique needs and goals. My focus is on helping clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and achieve meaningful, lasting results in both their personal and professional lives.
My ideal clients are adults who are ready to explore their emotions, behaviors, and life challenges in a supportive environment. I am best positioned to serve individuals experiencing anxiety, anger management issues, ADHD/ODD, family or relationship challenges, academic or career stress, and life transitions. These clients are motivated to develop coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and achieve meaningful, lasting changes in their daily lives.
