My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT to help my clients find symptom relief from depression, anxiety, panic attacks and other issues that are preventing them from having the optimal mental health. I also incorporate mindfulness and give options on the amount of time you would like to spend doing this. I can send you videos on five minute sessions or 30 minute sessions not Tom sessions and morning sessions.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors by providing clear, practical information about mental health, coping skills, and the therapeutic process. By breaking down complex concepts into relatable and easy-to-apply ideas, I empower clients to make sense of their experiences, reduce confusion or shame, and feel more in control. Psychoeducation in my work supports insight, reinforces skill-building, and equips clients with tools they can use both in and outside of sessions.

Eclectic

I use an eclectic approach by integrating techniques and perspectives from multiple therapeutic modalities to best meet each client’s unique needs. Rather than relying on a single framework, I draw from approaches such as CBT, Internal Family Systems, and psychoeducation to tailor interventions based on the client’s goals, strengths, and presenting concerns. This flexible, client-centered style allows me to adapt in real time and provide personalized, effective support that promotes meaningful and lasting change.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand and connect with the different “parts” of themselves that influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By creating a safe, nonjudgmental space, I support clients in identifying protective parts, wounded parts, and their core Self, fostering compassion and curiosity rather than criticism. Through this process, clients learn to heal internal conflicts, build self-leadership, and develop a more balanced, integrated sense of self

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence about change in a supportive, nonjudgmental way. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations, I guide clients in identifying their own motivations, values, and goals. Rather than directing the process, I collaborate with clients to strengthen their confidence and commitment to change, empowering them to take meaningful, self-driven steps forward.
