Hello & Welcome!
I provide therapy for individuals and families navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, and periods of uncertainty. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, combining meaningful self-exploration with tools and strategies that support real change.
I believe therapy is a space to feel heard, gain new perspectives, and better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we work to build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and develop greater confidence in navigating life's challenges.
I recognize that everyone's journey is different, which is why I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. My focus is on helping you not only gain insight but also apply what you learn in ways that create lasting, meaningful improvements in your everyday life.
Whether you're seeking support through a difficult season or looking to grow into a healthier, more fulfilled version of yourself, I'm here to support you along the way.
I have been in practice for over 20 years, treating individuals. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy that is client-focused for your needs. I primarily work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, racial stress, perinatal health, chronic illness/pain, trauma, and life transitions. I include a variety of techniques in my practice such as mindfulness, body work, CBT, and DBT. My practice is both LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC informed.
Part of what led me to become a therapist was my own experience of how difficult it can be to find meaningful, accessible support when you need it. Navigating my own mental health journey helped me recognize the importance of having someone who truly listens, understands, and shows up consistently. I became a therapist because I wanted to be that person for others, to help ensure people don’t feel alone or unsupported when they’re seeking help. Throughout my life, a wide range of personal and professional experiences have shaped who I am today and strengthened my ability to genuinely connect with others.
I worked in a community mental health agency, where I gained extensive experience across multiple areas of mental health. Although the work was demanding, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve individuals in various capacities and settings. That experience helped shape my clinical foundation and reinforced my commitment to this field. Along the way, I have learned to embrace my own neurodivergence and mental health experiences and use them as sources of insight, self-awareness, and strength.
I am a mother of three children, and my experiences as a parent have deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, advocacy, and emotional complexity. My oldest child is also neurodivergent and lives with complex congenital heart disease, which has required multiple heart surgeries. These experiences, along with navigating remarriage and a second journey through IVF, have given me a profound appreciation for uncertainty, grief, hope, and perseverance. They have also strengthened my capacity to sit with others through difficult, vulnerable, and emotionally layered experiences. I share this to give you a sense of who I am and how I approach therapy, and to reflect the values of presence, compassion, and authenticity that guide my work with clients.
I began my counseling journey as an adolescent, and eventually became a school counselor over a decade ago working with elementary to high school aged kids. I quickly learned that school counselors are not able to equip their students with necessary tools and as a result I began to pursue my LPC. As a fully licensed therapist in Texas I value the trust my clients instill in me and together we work to address any and all client concerns to allow them to live their best life.

Hi, I'm Jonni Allen, from Houston, Texas, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and an Advanced Mediator. I received my masters degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and my law degree from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. I started Pink Rose Therapy to help women reach their full potential. Through empowerment, support, and emotional development I have seen women achieve greater success in their career, higher reports of satisfaction and enjoyment from their interpersonal relationships and a genuine calm and peacefulness when enjoying their down time, allowing more time to spend on hobbies, side hustles, or causes with greater vigor and passion.
I approach individual therapy as a partnership, where you and I both work on your treatment plan goals and checking in with how effective our work together is going. Each person is unique and has specific needs. Typically, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to challenge your current assumptions about your situation.
I specialize in people experiencing anxiety, adjustment concerns around life transitions, and personality disorders. I am trauma informed and can help you realize how past traumas are impacting your mental health today, and strategies to cope better and calm the mind and body.
I am a single mom to three children one adult, and two elementary age.

At the core of my work is a deep belief that everyone deserves care, dignity, and a place where they can show up exactly as they are. I am committed to helping people heal, grow, and advocate for their own well-being. Empowerment and compassion guide my approach, whether I’m supporting someone through acute crisis or helping them build long-term emotional resilience.
I completed my Master’s degree in Counseling at the Houston Graduate School of Theology, along with a Master of Divinity. My background in ministry has strengthened my ability to support people through emotional, spiritual, and existential challenges. It has equipped me with the skills to offer steadiness, encouragement, and thoughtful guidance during difficult times while respecting each person’s unique identity, worldview, and lived experience.
My therapeutic style is integrative, meaning I draw from several evidence-based approaches to best meet your individual needs. In practice, this means sessions with me often feel warm, collaborative, and grounded. I honor your story, build on your strengths, and work with you to develop practical tools and new ways of thinking that support your healing and growth.
The value of serving others has been evident throughout my life. Having many years of work experience, including the armed forces, has helped me become a more flexible and well-rounded individual.
My experience is across a variety of behavioral health settings including various levels of education, structured outpatient and inpatient psychiatric facilities, outreach and community mental health, managed care, and private practice promoting alternative therapies such as Emotional Support Animals as an accommodation and Hopscotch Play. My name is Cynthia Scott and I have been an individual therapist for over 15 years. I work with individuals looking for help in feeling more confident and more in control when problems arise. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, and major life transitions. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood, while also being gently challenged to grow. Together, we focus on building practical skills, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and responding to everyday stressors.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, I’m here to support you in taking the next step forward.
If you're a high-functioning, driven person who looks like you have it together—but internally you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained—you’re not alone.
You may be used to being the strong one… the dependable one… the one everyone leans on. But lately, it’s starting to feel exhausting.
You might find yourself overthinking everything, struggling to set boundaries without guilt, or constantly pushing through your day while feeling mentally drained. At some point, coping stops feeling like living.
Clients who work with me often go from:
• Constant overthinking → feeling more mentally clear and present
• People-pleasing → setting boundaries with confidence
• Anxiety-driven decisions → trusting themselves
• Emotional exhaustion → feeling more balanced and in control
The time we spend together will be collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your pace. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you.
You don’t have to keep pushing through this alone. If you're ready for meaningful change, I’d be honored to work with you.

For me, being a counselor is so much more than a job—it's a calling of the highest order. I count it a true privilege to walk with the hurting through the dark and heavy places. Whether you’re navigating daily stress, dealing with workplace burnout, processing relationship or family struggles, or facing deep personal crises, I want you to know one thing: you don't have to carry it all by yourself.
I don't believe in 'fixing' people because I don't see you as broken. Instead, we’ll work together to look at the whole picture, celebrate your resilience, and build skills that bring both immediate relief and long-term healing. We’ll uncover your natural strengths, untangle the things holding you back, and help you feel grounded, confident, and genuinely hopeful as the best version of yourself. You don't have to have all the answers right now—we’ll figure them out together.

Greetings to you and all
With a wish for good health and peace in your life.
My name is Sherby John. I have been working and learning along this journey, we call life, just as you have.
It can be a journey filled with joy and struggle. Have you reached a point where it seems there is more struggle than joy or feel stuck in the muck that seems to only get deeper or harder to transgress?
Then maybe it is time to find new paths and options by having a guide on this journey. Therapy can be a vehicle for change and development of workable tools to assist in continuing with this journey. Whether you are dealing with Depression, Life changes, Anxiety, Relationships, Trauma, or a new medical or mental health diagnosis, therapy can be a useful mechanism for support, discernment, and information.
I would like to provide you with a safe and welcoming environment and space to relieve yourself of these stressors through working on alternatives to current reactions to triggers or stressors in the way of continuing your journey, your way and at your own pace.
Come in.
Lets Talk.
Lets get to work.
I am licensed in Texas with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & parenting issues. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
Nobody comes to therapy because they need someone to tell them to “think positive.” They come because they’re exhausted. Tired of anxiety or trauma calling the shots. Tired of burnout, addiction, or chaotic relationship patterns running the show. Tired of just surviving on autopilot. If you're looking for someone to hand you generic platitudes or passively nod while you vent, I am not your therapist. I work with people who are ready to actually change things.
Life is complicated enough; getting real help shouldn’t be. As a dual-licensed therapist (LPC & LCDC), I specialize in complex trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and mood disorders. My approach is straightforward, down-to-earth, and entirely BS-free. We’ll uncover the "why" behind what’s keeping you stuck, but we heavily focus on the "what now" with practical tools you can actually use in real life. I offer direct feedback, honest accountability, and zero clinical fluff. We won't just talk in circles about your past; we’ll untangle the chaos and build concrete strategies so your progress doesn't stay trapped in our sessions. Therapy isn't a quick checkbox or a single-session magic wand. It takes commitment. If you are ready to be called out on the patterns keeping you stuck, roll up your sleeves, and build a life that actually feels like yours, you’ll feel right at home here.

While I bring professional knowledge and clinical experience to our work together, I also recognize the value of your unique experiences, strengths, and insights. In many ways, we are both teachers and students throughout the therapeutic journey. I look forward to partnering with you, honoring your story, and supporting you as you move toward the life you envision for yourself.
