Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you’re managing anxiety, navigating a major life transition, struggling in relationships, or simply feeling stuck. You don’t have to figure it out alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, grief, ADHD, autism, and life transitions. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as both a teacher and school counselor, giving me a unique understanding of the emotional and academic challenges that children, teens, parents, and young adults experience. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard without judgment. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together we’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop tools that create lasting change. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques, always tailoring treatment to your individual needs. Whether you’re looking for support during a difficult season or hoping to create lasting personal growth, I’d be honored to help.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but your first appointment is simply a conversation. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and exploring the goals that are most important to you. There is no pressure to have all the answers or share everything at once. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel safe being yourself. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a better understanding of how we can work together and a personalized plan for moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often describe me as compassionate, genuine, and easy to talk with. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel both supported and encouraged to grow. My experience as a teacher, school counselor, and therapist allows me to understand challenges from multiple perspectives. I combine empathy with practical problem-solving, helping clients gain insight while learning skills they can immediately apply in everyday life. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and respect. My goal is not only to help you feel better but also to equip you with the confidence and tools to continue thriving long after therapy ends.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adolescents and adults who are ready to make positive changes, even if they’re unsure where to begin. They may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, grief, or difficulty balancing the demands of work, school, or family life. Some are seeking practical coping skills, while others simply want a safe, supportive space to process their experiences. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals, build resilience, and develop tools that promote lasting emotional well-being.
