Hello, I’m Ceci, the owner of Riding Waves Counseling PLLC. I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds who have experienced trauma and various life challenges. My work is rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and respect for each individual’s unique journey.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to offer therapy in the language that feels most comfortable and natural for you. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to heal. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and my role is to walk alongside you as you navigate change, build resilience, and reconnect with your strengths.
If you’re tired of overthinking every move, replaying old wounds, or feeling like anxiety, anger, or shame is making life more difficult — you’re in the right place. I can help. You’ve been working so hard just to feel okay — and you deserve more than okay. You deserve more than to just survive. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, trauma, and shame. I help people cut through the noise, understand what’s actually driving their patterns, and build real tools to change them. No fluff, just honest, practical therapy that gets you somewhere.
I am genuine and relatable to everyone I meet, down to earth with a sense of humor. Twenty-two years of marriage and raising six kids has allowed me to see real life up close, and I bring that experience into every session. I’m not here to just listen and nod. I’m here to help you figure out what’s getting in the way and give you tools to overcome it.
My clients often long for deeper peace, stronger boundaries, and more authentic relationships—but they may not know where to start. Many are navigating life transitions, past trauma, or complex emotions that leave them feeling isolated or exhausted. They want to feel more grounded, aligned, and confident in who they are and how they move through the world. That’s where I come in. I help by creating a compassionate, empowering space for you to slow down, tune in, & heal. Together, we explore what’s getting in the way of the life you want to live. My work is rooted in modalities like ACT, CBT, IFS, Brainspotting, & mindfulness. In our first few sessions, you can expect to feel heard, supported, and not rushed.

My direct and compassionate approach supports you through life’s challenges. Hello and welcome. I am James Liles, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to helping high-functioning professionals and growth-oriented individuals navigate intense stress, burnout, and complex life transitions. Through a private and flexible telehealth format, I provide a collaborative, talk-based space designed for deep reflection, helping you move beyond basic symptom management to build lasting psychological resilience and reclaim your personal agency.
In our work together, I integrate evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a compassionate, person-centered approach that honors you as the expert on your own life. Additionally, for clients seeking a faith-based framework, I offer a specialized Christian counseling perspective—combining rigorous secular training with a personal foundation deeply rooted in the Gospel of Christ to seamlessly bridge professional psychological care with your spiritual walk.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Air Force veteran who works with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, burnout, and major life transitions. My approach is practical, supportive, and focused on helping clients better understand what’s keeping them stuck while building realistic coping strategies they can apply in everyday life.
I work well with clients who are used to handling things on their own but have reached a point where they want support, better balance, healthier relationships, or improved emotional well-being. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and making meaningful progress without feeling judged or talked down to.
I am a seasoned counselor familiar with adolescents, issues of personal development, empowerment, issues about personal power, overcoming fear, and identifying values. I value honesty, courage, self-actualization and altruism. I have worked almost exclusively with males. I see the world from a male perspective because that's the point of view I have experienced life through. I have spent years in the gym. I am a musician, and I play out somewhere every week.
There are a few high-stakes, difficult life situations I want to address here: If you are afraid of your child setting a fire, trying to get a gun, or stealing from you in plain sight, reach out. If your child is being bullied, I might be able to help him to acquire the skills necessary to hold his own in life. Finally, if you or a family member is being stalked or threatened by someone, I may be able to professionally assess the danger.
My name is Brenda Acevedo and I have over 15 years experience working in the mental health field in Texas. I am Licensed Professional Counselor, with a Bachelors degree in Psychology, and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I started working with the State of Texas as a social worker helping the indigent population in 2010. Since then, I have worked with adults (men/women, LGBTQ-IA), children, couples, the elderly, and families. I have experience with the Intellectual Developmental Disable (IDD) population, Addictions, Trauma, and Crisis.
Healing the past. Growing in the present. Strengthening the future.
Life can become overwhelming. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply going through a difficult season, you deserve a safe place to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I’m Lorena Quintana Gallion, LCSW, a bilingual English/Spanish therapist. I believe you already carry strengths within you, and my role is to help you recognize those strengths, build on them, and develop the tools you need to move forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy—you just have to be willing to take the first step.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor with more than 25 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. My professional background includes private practice, school-based mental health services, residential treatment, chemical dependency counseling, hospice, and home health. These experiences have strengthened my ability to help clients navigate anxiety, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, family stress, major life transitions, and other complex challenges.
For the past six years, I have worked in public school settings, primarily supporting students receiving special education services. In this role, I helped children, families, and school teams better understand the “why” behind behavior, develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and create practical supports that can be used at school, at home, and in the community.
I have experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, OCD, selective mutism, trauma-related concerns, depression, emotional dysregulation, self-harm behaviors, and behavioral challenges. I also understand the stress that parents and caregivers may experience while trying to support a child with emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and practical. I work to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we identify patterns, build useful coping and communication skills, and develop realistic strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

Hi—Hola. I’m Andrea, and I’m truly glad you’re here.
For over nine years, I have walked alongside people as they navigate anxiety, childhood and adult trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Because I have my own lived experience with trauma, I deeply understand how it can stay in the body and nervous system—often showing up as overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or that heavy, persistent feeling of never being quite “enough.”
My therapeutic style is warm, trauma-informed, and bilingual (English/Spanish). My clinical expertise is focused on supporting clients through depression and anxiety, healing childhood trauma, repairing attachment wounds, and helping you gently reconnect with your body as a vital part of your healing. My hope is to offer you a steady, supportive space where you can set down what feels heavy. Together, we will work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you, building tools that truly help—like setting loving boundaries, nurturing a kinder inner voice, and creating healthier, more fulfilling relationship patterns.
Because finding the right therapist is such a deeply personal and important part of your journey, I want to make sure I am the best possible fit for you. As much as I would love to help everyone who reaches out, ethically and professionally, I cannot. It is my responsibility to ensure you get the exact care you need and deserve. With that in mind, I invite you to read through my full profile. At the bottom, you will see a list of diagnoses and concerns that fall outside of my clinical expertise. If what you are going through right now is on that list, I encourage you to seek out a provider whose specialties speak directly to your needs. You truly deserve to be supported by someone who is fully equipped to guide you.

Hello. Thank you for considering me!
You are, above all things, a human being and to be human is a wild experience. I think most of us are doing the best we can with what we have to work with, and you should be proud of yourself for your willingness to learn more. I see therapy as a process that organically unfolds towards deeper understanding and acceptance of who we are and what life is; from here we can shift how we relate to ourselves and life. My approach is grounded in humanistic, dynamic and holistic therapies. I often focus on the impacts of previous experiences, particularly childhood as early experiences set the foundation we use to navigate our lives.

Hi, I’m Abel. I specialize in working with adults with ADHD, both men and women, as well as men navigating the pressures of work, relationships, family, and identity. I also work with couples, particularly when ADHD has become part of the conflict or disconnection in their relationship.
I know firsthand how ADHD can shape your life. It affects more than focus and productivity. It can also impact emotions, confidence, and relationships. I was diagnosed in my 30s, and it helped me make sense of years of struggles with organization, responsibilities, and executive functioning. What surprised me most was how profoundly ADHD can affect relationships, especially marriage. That’s why I believe ADHD therapy has to go beyond productivity and address emotional regulation, self-worth, follow-through, and connection.
As a husband of 13 years, a father, and a family man, I understand the quiet pressures many men carry. Men are often expected to be competent, steady, and dependable without always having a place to talk honestly about what happens when that becomes difficult. That perspective shapes the way I work with men: with honesty, compassion, practical tools, and real conversations without judgment.
My own marriage has also taught me how much relationships require vulnerability, accountability, and teamwork, especially when navigating ADHD. That experience helps shape my work with couples as they move beyond blame and toward greater understanding, reliability, and connection.
I’ve also wrestled with body image and self-worth after years of being overweight. Making meaningful changes taught me that taking care of yourself isn’t passive. It often means doing difficult things consistently because you’ve decided your well-being matters. Learning to show up for myself changed not only my health, but the way I saw and valued myself. That experience shapes how I help clients build a healthier, more grounded relationship with themselves.

I hope my experience both professionally and personally will give insight as we journey together. Let me know how I can help!
Hi, I'm Alesia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama. Over my seven-plus years in the field, I've worked in college, community, outpatient, inpatient, and intensive outpatient settings, giving me a broad perspective on how to support people at different stages of life and levels of need. I work with both children and adults facing challenges like depression, anxiety, and major life changes, using cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and psychoeducation to help clients feel more equipped to navigate what they're going through.
As your counselor, my priority and main goal is creating a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Therapy is a collaborative journey centered on your growth and healing, one where we explore meaningful goals, deepen self-awareness, and make sense of your experiences. I will meet you where you are in your life journey and we will go through it at your pace, taking things as they come and building and enhancing skills to overcome not only the memories of the past but also current and future challenges.
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and an evidence-based Empowerment Coach, who helps high-achieving adults heal from trauma and manage mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression-TX and AL residents.
