Sometimes the hardest part isn't realizing something needs to change—it's taking that first step. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you've been carrying so much on your own. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, explore what's been weighing on you, and discover practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence and peace.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Trinity University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Mary’s University, both in San Antonio. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have experience supporting children, teens, adults, and couples through life's challenges, with specialized training in grief and trauma.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have completed advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents (TGCTA). I am also currently pursuing certification in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders to further support individuals throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood.

Welcome! I'm Jan Quirl.
Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards improving your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.
I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life.
Counseling can promote personal development in whatever way you may be seeking and help build the life you so deeply deserve. If that's what you're looking for, I'm here when you're ready to share.
Trauma hurts. It can be sudden, life-altering and overwhelming, or chronic, subtle and nearly unnoticeable, but either way it can change the way we think about others, the world, and unfortunately, ourselves. Dealing with the aftermath—changes in our relationships, lashing out toward self or others, feeling nothing and/or everything all at once—is sometimes as hard as the initial event, especially when society, friends and family and our own minds tell us to “just get over it.” Worse, sometimes we aren’t even sure where the trauma came from in the first place, leaving us confused and even feeling hopeless. If you could just “get over it,” you would, but sometimes the brain simply cannot process traumatic events without help, and this is why trauma therapy exists. :)
I'm an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Texas. I've been in practice for nearly 15 years and have been doing EMDR therapy for 13 of those. I specialize in helping teens and adults process trauma of all kinds. My goal is to help my clients gain the skills needed to process and adapt to traumatic memories, and then allow them to do so in a safe environment. I teach them how to build boundaries and follow through, and to treat themselves with self-compassion rather than judgment and harsh expectations.
Trauma doesn’t have to ruin (or run) your life. If you’re hurting, please know I’d be happy to help in any way I can.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults who are trying to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. I’m especially drawn to working with people who have spent a lot of time questioning themselves, putting others’ needs before their own, or feeling disconnected from who they are and what they want. My work often centers around developing self-trust, creating healthier relationships, strengthening boundaries, and feeling more secure and confident in yourself. My approach is warm, genuine, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what’s really going on without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. We can slow things down, explore what may be underneath the patterns you’re experiencing, and make sense of how your past experiences and current relationships may be influencing the way you see yourself and move through the world.
Many people reach a point where they know something needs to change, but aren’t quite sure what that change looks like. You may be navigating a transition, questioning whether your relationships reflect what you truly want, struggling to trust your own decisions, or simply feeling unlike yourself. Sometimes the hardest part is knowing that the way you’ve been coping isn’t working anymore, while not yet knowing what to do instead. My goal is to help you develop a clearer understanding of yourself and the life you want to create. I’m not here to tell you who to be or what choices to make. I’m here to help you feel more grounded in yourself, recognize what you need, and build the confidence and tools to move forward in a way that feels authentic to you.
Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I received my Master degree from Sam Houston State University and have been practicing for 5 years. I specialize in helping adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and relationship conflict. Through evidence-based therapies and empathetic support, I empower my clients to cultivate resilience, enhance self-awareness, and foster healthier relationships. My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and solution-focused strategies to address a wide range of emotional and interpersonal issues.
Hey, I'm Hailey. My approach to therapy is personable and down-to-earth. We can cuss, laugh, yell, or cry in session. Through my experience in inpatient, private practice, and shelters, I have learned that the most significant change occurs with learning concepts alongside practical application. Talking and processing are important, because it helps to identify patterns and recurring themes that are causing ongoing suffering; however, we need to also be able to sustain change by applying new ways of thinking and new skills.
With more than fifteen years of experience in social services, I have had the privilege of working with clients from a wide range of backgrounds. These experiences deeply impact my approach as a mental health professional. Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Science in Counseling. I currently provide psychotherapy for adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and phase‑of‑life transitions.
I work with partners, couples, and marriages to be direct and improve communication, trust, commitment and general satisfaction within relationships. I enjoy working with individuals, couples/partners and families (over 18 years old) to help them through rough patches or teaching tools to use at home to boost happiness, confidence, and commitment in relationships. I have facilitated relationships including dating, marriage (1-5 years together, 7-10 years together, or even 20-30 years together), and family combinations (parent/in-law, grandparents, co-parenting, roommates, sisters/brothers, or relatives) that want to get along better.
I hold therapy for individuals, around such topics as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, family relationship issues, work stress, and other things to see changes in life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and began my career in the field as a school counselor, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. Over time, my work has grown to focus on helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, and patterns that may feel overwhelming or difficult to change.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and Motivational Interviewing. I tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs, helping clients build practical skills while also gaining deeper insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are. Whether you are feeling stuck, seeking clarity, or wanting to make meaningful changes in your life, my goal is to walk alongside you at your pace and support you in building greater balance, confidence, and emotional well-being.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker who works with women, teens, and children who are used to holding everything together but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, especially in relationships or during life transitions like motherhood and adolescence. I often see clients struggling with emotional reactivity, communication, or feeling disconnected from themselves. In our work together, I help clients understand these patterns and build practical skills to regulate emotions, improve relationships, and feel more grounded, confident, and like themselves again.
I'm Brandon, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I work with people who look like they have it together on the outside but feel lost, empty, and exhausted on the inside. The dependable one. The one everyone leans on. You've read the books, you've tried harder, and you're still stuck in the same loops — because information is not transformation. I believe you're not broken. You're a masterpiece that got covered up, and my job is to help you uncover what's already there.

I have been in practice for over 20 years, treating individuals. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy that is client-focused for your needs. I primarily work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, racial stress, perinatal health, chronic illness/pain, trauma, and life transitions. Hello, I am Margie,
Do you ever feel like there is not enough time in the day? Are you increasingly feeling off (meaning, that you know something is going on that is causing a disconnect but you are not sure what it is)?
I assist people with finding/repairing their focus on what is most important to them in order to avoid/lessen burnout. Together we can identify what is not working and develop a plan for how to address the areas of disconnection. Together we will work as a partnership to develop strategies to create "a present and future that makes you feel more fulfilled." In addition to focusing on the mind, body soul connection, I also integrate mindfulness, music and art to help you improve yourself.
Throughout life's twists and turns, I am here to help. Seeking therapy is a huge step and for various reasons, many people do not. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can take ownership of "what I want, what I need and where I want to go."
Let's talk if you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, depressed, or disconnected from yourself due to a significant life event, or experiencing a "tough time" and are ready to make a change but aren't sure where to start. I bring 28 years of experience working in mental health, so you can feel confident you are in capable hands. I want to help you crawl out of the hole you've been in, whether you created it or someone/something else did. I made the switch to a virtual practice in 2015 and never looked back. Therapy should be accessible and affordable for all. Here's what my average client comes to me for...break ups, contemplating divorcing, post partum adjustment, grief due to a death of a loved one, trauma history, work burn-out, can't sleep, can't relax, can't stay organized, can't get along with their family, caregiver fatigue etc. And for clarity here's who I don't work with...anyone less than 18 years-old, couples (although I very occasionally invite a spouse/partner to a session to work on a specific issue) , untreated (as in meds) Bipolar disorder, or heavy drug or alcohol abuse. Thank you for checking out my page and I hope to see you soon! ( instagram is @cypresstxtherapist )

Whatever you are dealing with, know that I am here to listen and support you, through harnessing of compassionate self-awareness. I believe strongly in encouraging self-empowerment, focusing on choices and their results. Central to my theoretical orientation (Person-Centered, Existentialist) is a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, being solution-focused, as well as encouraging mindfulness.
A little bit about how I approach therapy. In creating an alliance with a new client, I adopt a stance of listening and confronting situations non-judgmentally and with compassion, acknowledging that this work is about you, and your life's goals and struggles. My practice is built around partnership with my clients, working hard to establish and maintain this therapeutic alliance. I do this by taking cues of direction, pace and depth from the people with whom I work, and allowing for immediacy to inform what is and is not working.

I am Casey Linda Unger, Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been in the mental health field since 1996 and licensed since 2002.
My experience ranges from working with the chronically mentally ill in public mental health, private practice, inpatient psychiatric, diagnostics/assessment, crisis intervention, anger management, and employee assistance.
My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the effectiveness it has in pointing out negative thought patterns.
Through CBT I can help you see unconscious schemas that are leading you to do what you do, where they came from, how they developed, and ultimately how to become your own therapist reframing and moving forward on your own.
Hi! I’m Jimmy Secoy, a Licensed Professional Counselor. My work is grounded in the belief that people aren’t meant to go through life’s hardest moments alone. Therapy, to me, is a place where you get to slow down, breathe, and be fully heard — without judgment and without pressure to “have it all together.”
Clients often describe me as accepting, approachable, and empathetic. I bring a calm presence to the room, but I’m also not afraid to gently challenge patterns that keep you stuck. My goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly and build the tools you need to move forward with confidence.
Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been in the field for over 10 years working with all ages. My focus has been on providing services to those who are looking for guidance to resolve issues that have made their present difficult. My approach is that of helping you find your own path to feeling like yourself again and using a combination of techniques specific to your needs.
Hello, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. With nine years of experience in the field of mental health, I have had the privilege of working extensively in a mental health clinic. My journey as a therapist has been deeply rewarding, allowing me to assist individuals in overcoming challenges and fostering positive change in their lives. I am passionate about providing empathetic and evidence-based counseling to help clients navigate their emotional struggles and find resilience amidst difficulties. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly express your concerns, and together, we can collaboratively work towards your mental and emotional well-being. I look forward to accompanying you on your journey towards healing and personal growth.
At the Child & Adult Behavior Center, we help both adults and children, as well as parents.
For adults, we help you find ways to cope with stress, anxiety, loss and depression. Not only talking through and understanding, but also concrete "what to do about it" coping skills, lead to calmer, more stable emotions and relationships. We find cognitive behavioral therapy very useful, and within that, learning the skills of mindfulness, a form of in-the-moment meditative thinking, to calm and focus the mind when emotions overtake. This fosters a new way of viewing and handling stressful situations as they arise.
For children's therapy, we work with you, and with your child. Parents' feedback is a critical part of helping children feel and do better. We help you with parent-child interactions to find your way as you navigate the seas of child behavior. Our specializations are the treatment for Aspergers/autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, emotional self regulation, the behavioral and emotional aspects of sensory issues, anxiety and depression. Our special programs also treat a wide range of neuroatypical, developmentally challenged children. Neuro-typical parent-child relationships, family relations, and parenting issues for all children and teens are also our focus. We help - you help your child - with ideas and techniques to put into action. Ideas that can greatly reduce the stress and storm of being a parent in the trenches. Peace in the home is possible!

I built my practice on a simple belief: people deserve a space where they feel seen, supported, and understood. My work in clinical psychology is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s story. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, or simply trying to make sense of a difficult season in life, I aim to create an environment where they can breathe, settle, and begin the work of growth.
Clients often describe me as steady, approachable, and easy to talk to. I value clear communication, gentle guidance, and a collaborative approach that honors each person’s strengths. My practice is designed to feel welcoming from the very first interaction — from the intake process to ongoing sessions — because I know how vulnerable it can be to reach out for help.
I’m drawn to evidencebased care that still leaves room for humanity. I enjoy learning new therapeutic tools, refining clinical systems, and creating a practice that feels both professional and deeply personal. My goal is always the same: to help people feel safe enough to explore, supported enough to heal, and empowered enough to move forward.
Outside of session, I stay curious about the human experience — reading, learning, and exploring ideas in psychology, wellness, and personal growth. At the heart of my work is a genuine belief in people: their resilience, their capacity to change, and the meaningful transformations that happen when they feel truly supported.
