Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas. I have been practicing for 10 years. I help clients struggling with anxiety, depression, work stress, family issues, grief, and life transitions. First session
During our initial session, we will explore your presenting issues, history, and goals. This initial session will assist me in understanding your unique experiences.
Strengths
As a therapist, my greatest strength is my ability to empathize with clients and truly listen to their struggles. I believe that being able to connect with my clients on an emotional level is crucial in helping them work through their issues and find the healing they are seeking.
Ideal clients
I enjoy serving clients 16+ who are struggling with anxiety and depression, as I have a deep understanding of these conditions and a passion for helping others overcome them. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and supportive environment for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, and to help them develop the tools they need to live a fulfilling and happy life.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT will be used in sessions to help clients understand and change their negative thought patterns and behaviors. I will guide clients in recognizing automatic thoughts that contribute to their emotional distress. Together, we explore the evidence for and against these thoughts, helping clients develop more balanced and rational perspectives.
