I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping individuals struggling with OCD, intrusive thoughts, and trauma. If you feel stuck in “what if” fears, mental loops, emotional overwhelm, or patterns that are hard to change, you’re not alone and effective help is available.
Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. I believe in meeting you where you are and tailoring my approach to fit your unique needs.
I use evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard for OCD, along with CBT and DBT to help you break free from these cycles and process past experiences. My approach is warm, structured, and focused on helping you build practical skills so you can feel more in control, grounded, and confident in your daily life.
Together, we’ll create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't realizing something needs to change—it's taking that first step. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you've been carrying so much on your own. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, explore what's been weighing on you, and discover practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence and peace.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Trinity University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Mary’s University, both in San Antonio. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have experience supporting children, teens, adults, and couples through life's challenges, with specialized training in grief and trauma.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have completed advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents (TGCTA). I am also currently pursuing certification in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders to further support individuals throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood.
Please note: Because of my role at the University of Houston (UH), university policy, as of Sept. 2025, prevents me from providing private counseling services to current UH students or UH alumni. This policy applies across all University of Houston campuses and programs.
Hello and welcome—
I’m Helen, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I’m not here to fix you or push an agenda—I’m here to walk alongside you as we make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences together.
Many of my clients wrestle with perfectionism, anxiety, or a quiet sense that something’s off, even if they can’t quite name it. Through gentle conversation and thoughtful questions, I help you uncover patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and reconnect with your strengths. We’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and how you can begin to shift toward a version of life that feels more honest, meaningful, and sustainable.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or intimidating. It can feel like exhaling. Like clarity. Like finally hearing your own voice again.
I look forward to meeting you.
I am an empathetic and intuitive person who cares very much about the lives of others. I have been in my own therapy for some time as I would not ask others to do work I can’t do myself.
I engage with each client with a pace and style that matches the diagnosis, history, and emotional state they are experiencing. I am very open to feedback back and If you disagree with me on something I encourage a safe relationship where sharing that feels ok.

My passion is to help people develop meaning, purpose, direction, and belonging in their lives. I help people win in life both professionally and personally. Licensed as a LMFT in the state of Texas with 9 years of professional work experience. Ordained minister with Assemblies of God. With over 32 years of military experience, I am a retired U.S. Army Ranger Chaplain having served in conventional and Special Operation organizations. As an Army Chaplain, I have worked with individuals and couples for over 17 years. I have taught, trained, counseled, and coach over 8,000 professionals across the U.S. Army and faith-based communities. I have experience in helping clients find meaning, purpose, and direction in their lives while working through stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & career difficulties. I help my clients gain clarity on their desired outcomes. A goal I strive for is to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and purposeful life or relationship takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, or emotional stress - or noticing patterns from the past repeating in your relationships - you’re not alone. Unresolved trauma, depression, or anger can affect the way you think, behave, and connect with others. These patterns can also affect how you see yourself - leading to self-doubt, low self-esteem, or a sense of not being good enough.
I’m Manuel Olvera, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I specialize in helping adults work through anger, anxiety, acute and complex trauma, depression, self-doubt, and relationship issues, so you can feel more calm and balanced. I also welcome clients who struggle with ADHD-related challenges, particularly when emotional regulation or past trauma is involved. Teenagers are also welcome.
In therapy, I aim to listen more than I talk. I offer guidance and explain psychological concepts when they’re helpful, but my main focus is creating space for you to express yourself and process what you're feeling. I ask questions to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors - and I follow your lead.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and elements of CBT to support healing at the level of both the mind and body. I also help you explore how past wounds may be affecting your current relationships. For couples, I use the Gottman Method and often work with each partner individually in addition to joint sessions - especially when personal trauma is showing up in the relationship dynamic.
Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, struggling with anger, shutdown, or self-doubt - or feeling disconnected from yourself or the people around you - therapy can help. You don’t have to have all the answers. If you’re ready to start, I’d be honored to work with you.
Through my journey in the field of counseling, I've come to understand that, no matter what you're carrying when you step into counseling, there's always one steadfast thing you can hold onto: hope.
My passion lies in standing with those who are hurting, mending, and who may feel a bit broken, and helping them discover meaning and hope within the unique tapestry of their circumstances.

Central to all of my sessions are respect, acceptance, and openness. I believe that therapy is a partnership. We will work together to reach your goals. Your ideas and contributions are central to achieving our success. I have experience in many evidence based therapeutic modalities. I believe one of the most effective to be a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
Whether you're dealing with relationship issues, cycles of anxiety and depression, or having difficulty meeting your goals, I'm here to help. We all want to be our best self. I would be pleased to help you reach that goal.
Hello, I’m happy you’re here. My name is Lileanna and I and a LCSW in Texas. My background is in crisis and suicide preventions. I have the opportunity to hold space for individuals feeling at their worst. I also am a believer that we do not need to wait until we are in crisis to receive help. I am a huge advocate for therapy and what it can do for your mental health and overall functioning. I currently specialize with young adults, life transitions and first gen. If you’re struggling navigating these transitions or engaging with your mental health for the first time, you’re not alone. Many, like you, are seeking support to work through the pressures of expectations, changes in life stages, and discovering what mental health care means for you. Take your next step to clarity and confidence.
Since becoming a counselor, I have worked in a variety of community counseling settings. I have worked with clients from ages 3 through 80 and with individuals, couples, and families. With that breadth of experience, very little shocks or surprises me and I have gotten a pretty good sense of where the types of counseling that play to my strengths as a counselor overlap with the types of counseling that are helpful for my clients. This sense (along with learning about lots and lots of research into what helps people find and maintain mental health) has led to the following guiding principles that shape all the counseling I do:
1) The client is always in charge. I know a lot of things but you will always be the one who decides what you want to get out of counseling, how we work towards that goal, whether or not what we’re doing seems to be working, and when we’re done.
2) Change and health happen through relationships. No matter what you come in for, there are always relational implications of change and relational factors that contribute to whatever it is that you came to counseling to change.
3) Counseling should be efficient. Counseling has significant costs in time and money. I think the benefits far outweigh the costs but if I can give you the benefits while helping you save on the costs then I want to do that.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor who works with women, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, life transitions, and the emotional challenges that come with trying to hold everything together.
Many of my clients are the people others rely on. They're hardworking, responsible, and often look like they're doing just fine from the outside. Internally, though, they may be struggling with overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, or the weight of past experiences that still show up in their everyday lives.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe healing happens when you feel both supported and challenged. Together, we'll work to understand the patterns that keep showing up, build tools that actually fit your life, and help you move toward the version of yourself you want to become.
For those who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling and faith-based integration as part of the therapeutic process.
I’m Tamera J. Stouton, a Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR Certified Therapist, and EMDR Consultant-in-Training! I love guiding women, couples, and emerging EMDR therapists through the journey of becoming—healing wounds, building healthy relationships, and developing the confidence to show up fully in life, relationships and business. My approach weaves evidence-based trauma therapy with a deeply holistic lens: honoring the mind, body, and spirit as one system of healing.
In our work together, therapy & consultation becomes a sacred journey, a space to slow down, process painful experiences, and reconnect with your innate resilience. I integrate EMDR, parts work, polyvagal and somatic practices, along with relational frameworks like Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy, to help my clients move beyond survival into embodied peace and purpose.
As a therapist & EMDR consultant in training, I bring both clinical depth and spiritual wisdom, rooted in years of study, teaching, and lived experience. I believe healing is not just about symptom relief; it’s about remembering who you are beneath the wounds.
If you’re ready to transform old patterns and live from a place of grounded wholeness, I’d be honored to walk beside you on your healing journey.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or emotionally exhausted, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. You may know you need support but feel unsure of what to say or where to begin. That’s okay. Therapy is a place where you can start exactly where you are.
I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. Healing doesn’t require perfection—it requires honesty, patience, and compassion.
People and their stories have always deeply mattered to me. From an early age, I felt drawn to listening and understanding others, which naturally led me into this work. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. I strongly believe that progress is still progress, no matter how small, and every step forward deserves to be acknowledged.
I am a Licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. Clients often describe me as empathetic, patient, and kind. I strive to meet you where you are and walk alongside you at a pace that feels right for you. You are the expert of your life—my role is to support, guide, and empower you.
My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying unhelpful patterns, building coping skills, and creating meaningful change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we will work toward clarity, healing, and growth.
As C.S. Lewis said, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” Your experiences are valid, your feelings matter, and your story deserves care. I would be honored to be part of your healing journey.l

Mrs. Whiteside has worked in various mental health settings maintaining her unwavering focus on mothers and small children. As a perinatal psychotherapist, Mrs. Whiteside works with mothers and/or families who are struggling with perinatal mental illness during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Mrs. Whiteside is currently a social work doctoral student at The University of Louisville researching the impact of perinatal mood disorders, as evidence indicates that depression and other mood disorders in parents can have a harmful impact on children, including cognitive difficulties, insecure attachment, and behavioral problems.
My career started as a classroom teacher and school counselor. I currently have over 20 years of experience working with students and families. In addition to my school counseling career, I am a crisis clinician in a major hospital in the DFW metroplex and work in over 32 emergency rooms providing on-call patient care. We all face unexpected challenges which sometimes leave us feeling hopeless and powerless. I believe that we have the ability to make healthy and appropriate choices regardless of the circumstances in which we may find ourselves. My role as a therapist is to assist and support clients as they learn new ways of coping and adjusting to life’s challenges. Counseling will vary depending upon one’s personality, stage of life, strengths or particular concern. Getting started can feel overwhelming. You have no idea where to even begin. You’ve been putting off therapy because you’re afraid it won’t help. More than anything you’d like to be able to feel happy again. You’d like to be able to put yourself out there more and to create deeper, more meaningful relationships with others. You want to have the courage to be your authentic self without hiding behind a mask.
Kudos on taking this first step toward change! I am a licensed psychologist, licensed marriage and family therapist, and an international parenting, divorce, and coparenting coach. You can read my full bio here: family-options.com/dr-tracy-mallett-bio. I have been working with single adults, couples, children and families for over 20 years. My clients learn to overcome issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma; poor self-worth; relationship struggles; and many other challenges in their lives. I have expertise working with couples and families in conflict, or who are struggling with communication. I am Level II trained in the Gottman Method, and utilize this extensively with couples. My clients report successes such as trauma recovery; anxiety and depression reduction; managing existential and identity issues; gaining peace of mind; reducing stress; and controlling anger. I have counseled in mental health, addiction treatment, and criminal justice settings. I have a private practice in south Florida (family-options.com), where I supervise master's level mental health counseling and psychology trainees. In addition to Florida, I am licensed as a psychologist in California, Texas, Arizona and Iowa, and am a PSYPACT credentialed clinician, having obtained an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) from the PSYPACT Commission, which also allows me to serve clients via telehealth in most US states. I also teach graduate-level courses in ethics, disaster and trauma response, abnormal behavior, community counseling, and criminal behavior, and I mentor graduate dissertation students in forensic psychology.
With over two decades of experience supporting children, individuals, and families, my career has been defined by a deep commitment to the counseling profession. My journey began in social work, evolved through dedicated years in education, and expanded into private practice. Today, alongside working directly with clients, I also mentor and supervise the next generation of aspiring counselors as they work toward full licensure.
Throughout my diverse roles, I have developed a clinical approach rooted in warmth, empathy, and genuine understanding. I work effectively with children, teenagers, and adults, helping them navigate life’s complex challenges. My primary goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your feelings, uncover your innate strengths, and confidently map out your own path forward.
