Life can feel overwhelming at times, and finding the right support can make a difference. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I strive to create a safe supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. My approach to therapy is collaborative and focused on helping clients better understand their experiences, develop practical coping strategies and work toward meaningful personal goals. I believe therapy should meet you where you are, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Whether you are navigating stress, anxiety, life changes, relationship challenges or other personal concerns, therapy can be an opportunity to build insight, strengthen resilience and move forward with greater confidence. I offer convenient virtual therapy for clients located in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. My goal is to help you feel comfortable taking that first step toward your well-being.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey with over 28 years of experience as a therapist. As of Sept 22, 2026, I am now licensed in Pennsylvania as well. I earned my MSW from Widener University in 1997. Since then, I have worked in private practice, and as a therapist in a non-profit agency. I have run successful group therapies as well as working individually with clients. I have had great success with issues of anxiety and trauma, chronic pain, personal empowerment and relationship issues. In 2025, I became a Certified Mental Health and Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMNCS). This means I have knowledge about how food and nutritional supplements affect your mental health. My professional mission has always been to be there for anybody who develops a hiccup in life and needs a helping hand to get through it.
I am a passionate professional who believes in continuous improvement, but also appreciating progress. I try to be an ally to my clients when and where I can, but will absolutely point out blind spots when I see them. I use Narrative therapy as my main philosophical approach to client situations, which really allows us to work together towards a resolution or answer. I have worked with Doctors, Lawyers, and many other professionals who needed an alternative perspective. I look forward to hearing your story and working with you to make changes.

I believe in the collaboration between clients as experts in their lives and myself as a therapist who is trained in providing therapy services.

Hi, I'm Cory Ian Shafer, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with my Masters in Counseling. I have been practicing professionally in the counseling field since 2005 and have worked in the mental health field since 1999.
I approach therapy primarily as a Jungian-Existentialist, however, I also realize that many clients may need different approaches to achieve their success, and because of that I also incorporate an eclectic approach towards therapy in addition to my primary school of thought, therefore I can utilize many different modalities and approaches of therapy depending on the what you need in your sessions.
My specializations are working with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and grief counseling. I also like to write a little bit and have published a few books concerning the human condition. On the personal side of things I lead a simple and quiet life, where I enjoy reading history, science fiction and philosophy books, playing the bass guitar, listening to music, traveling and amateur astronomy.

Hi. I'm Bill. I've been working in this field since 2003 treating adults experiencing symptoms related to the anxiety disorders, depressed mood, identity and self-concept difficulties, relationship problems, life-transition difficulties, and traumatic memories. These difficulties along with other related topics that may surface during a therapy session.
My therapy approach is quite straightforward, collaborative, and non-judgmental. It's structured to help you develop a healthier and happier life. We begin by identifying the circumstances that prompted you to seek therapy. Then I help you to develop skills and solutions tailored for you to help you move forward toward that healthier life. It's a collaborative approach. You and I work together through this process.
From this perspective, listening is the most-important part of communication. When I genuinely listen to your experiences and concerns without judgment or distraction, I can respond appropriately to your concerns. "Right Speech begins with Right Listening."

Each person brings a unique set of experiences and challenges. I partner with you to meet you where you are and help you achieve the personal or professional goals that matter most. Whether you’re managing stress and anxiety, feelings of depression, ADHD, or navigating life transitions, I combine empathic listening with practical strategies and a touch of humor to make growth both meaningful and manageable.
Many of my clients are ambitious professionals and individuals who are accustomed to striving for excellence while privately carrying stress, self-doubt, or a relentless pressure to do more. I help clients understand and work with their inner rebel, the part that resists rigid expectations, pushes back against perfectionism, and longs for greater autonomy and authenticity. Together, we can harness this part of you as a source of resilience, creativity, and lasting growth rather than viewing it as something to overcome.
I’m skilled at helping you identify both clear goals and the strengths you may overlook in yourself. Even when you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or discouraged, there are always strengths and insights we can build from, and I help bring those into focus. Together, we will clarify goals, strengthen coping skills, and develop strategies that support decision-making, confidence, and emotional balance.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in many areas including aging and dementia care, grief and loss, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, sexual abuse and sexual offender assessment and treatment. I am open minded and will bring compassion and non-judgment to our relationship.
Hi, I’m Eleanor, I'm a marriage and family therapist who believes therapy should be a space where you can talk about the hard stuff, laugh a little, and feel comfortable being real. I’m here to help you make sense of what’s going on, challenge you when needed, and figure out how to move forward.
I work with adults across Pennsylvania, Delaware, South Carolina, and Florida through secure telehealth sessions, offering a warm, steady space to navigate life's big transitions — retirement, relocation, divorce, widowhood, caring for aging parents, grief, and the anxiety and relationship strains that often come with change. I especially enjoy working with people in midlife and beyond who are asking "what's next?" and want support figuring it
Integrating clinical expertise with Christian values, I strive to support emotional healing, resilience, and personal growth. I believe true healing occurs when mind, body, and spirit are nurtured together. My work focuses on helping clients manage stress, regulate emotions and move forward with hope, faith, and intention while honoring each individual's unique journey.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida and my graduate studies at the University of South Carolina. Throughout my career, I have served diverse populations, including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults.

When we experience loss, unwanted change, or trauma it can shake our foundations and lead to pain, confusion, and heartache. While we can't prevent life from happening or undo what we've been through, my practice is based on a deeply held belief in the ability for all of us to heal and resume living with meaning and purpose. Recognizing where you're feeling blocked, stuck, or hurt will inform where we focus our efforts. Granting ourselves full permission to feel and express the depth of our feelings is instrumental to healing and growth.
My role is to bear witness to your experience while offering support and encouragement as you recognize and process your feelings. Through curiosity, presence, and attunement I seek to facilitate individual's getting back to living through effectively addressing, expelling, and moving past what has caused pain.
Owning how we feel without asking for permission, learning how to internally validate ourselves, and developing self regulation strategies will help when we experience intense challenges. We can learn to change our narratives and work towards unconditional self love and acceptance. Please trust yourself and your wisdom when doing healing work.

My friends describe me as unique, humorous and quirky; all qualities that I am proud to incorporate into the way I provide therapy.
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
If you’re ready to move beyond old patterns and cultivate a life defined by authenticity, self-trust, and purpose, this is a space for you.
My work as a therapist centers on helping you understand the deeper experiences and relational patterns that shape how you see yourself, navigate relationships, and move through the world. Together, we’ll look beyond the surface to uncover what may be holding you back, creating space for greater clarity, intentional growth, and meaningful change.
I believe that understanding your story is an essential part of transforming it. Through our work, we’ll explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and develop healthier ways of connecting with others.
Therapy with me is more than a place to process your experiences. It’s an opportunity to deepen your self-awareness, gain meaningful perspective, and develop practical tools that support you beyond our sessions. Our work will build on your existing strengths while helping you cultivate the insight and confidence to make choices that align with your values and the life you envision.
You already possess the capacity for growth. My role is to help you access it, trust your inner wisdom, and move forward with greater intention.
This is where you begin to reclaim your peace and reconnect with yourself. As you learn to slow down and feel more grounded, you can develop a quiet sense of inner authority—a confidence that allows you to honor your needs, establish healthy boundaries, trust your voice, and navigate life with greater ease and assurance.
You don’t have to remain defined by what you’ve experienced. You can create a life that reflects who you are, what matters to you, and who you are becoming.
I am Jeff, like it says on this page. I love games of all kinds and dogs of all kinds. I sit crosslegged on chairs when I can and enjoy kneading dough for baking. I'm verbose and use words as if they were legos.
I have worked in hospitals, community mental health centers, a retirement home and now I am content to be in private practice. I have experience with crises, sudden life transitions and choices that seem impossible to come back from.
I'm familiar with being awkward and have experience being the outcast. I became a therapist because there were many times earlier in my life where I needed support and guidance from someone who could understand me without being judgmental or controlling. Being a strange enough person already, I never quite found someone empathetic towards my situation until meeting my first therapist - a literally life changing experience.
Even with almost 10 years as a therapist, I'm certainly not claiming that I'll change your life as a guarantee just because of who I am - a therapist helped me see that so much change came about by my own efforts over the years, change that you can also be empowered to pursue. I am the sort of person that will work in your interest, work for your health when it feels like illness gets in the way. If you happen to be someone or know someone that often puts others before themselves at the expense of wants and needs for themselves, then you may know me pretty well already.
Transparently, I am not using AI in any form to write anything you read here about myself or my methods.
Welcome to Hope, Strength, & Resiliency Counseling Services LLC!

I’m a therapist who helps individuals untangle anxiety, heal from trauma, and build a stronger, more compassionate relationship with themselves. My style is warm, grounding, and collaborative. I believe every person deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges.
Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Together, we work gently but effectively to help them regain clarity, reduce emotional intensity, and create meaningful change.
My Approach
I draw from evidence-based and holistic modalities including:
EMDR for trauma healing and emotional processing
Attachment-focused therapy to explore relational patterns
DBT skills, including ABC PLEASE, for emotional regulation

Supportive counseling to offer grounding, guidance, and validation
My goal is to help you understand your story, break unhelpful patterns, and build the confidence and calm you’ve been working toward.
What We Can Work On Together
Anxiety, overthinking, and burnout
Trauma, childhood wounds, and stuck memories
Self-esteem, confidence, and identity
Relationship patterns & boundaries
Emotional regulation and coping skills
Healing from family conflict or feeling “not enough”
What Sessions Feel Like
You can expect a space that is:
Compassionate
Non-judgmental
Structured when you need it
Flexible when you need room to breathe
Always centered on your pace and needs
Our work will focus on understanding where you’ve been, what you’re carrying, and what you want your life to feel like moving forward.
A message to potential clients
You don’t have to sort everything out on your own anymore. Healing is possible, and you deserve support that truly fits you. If you’re ready to begin—or simply curious about what therapy could look like—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Hello and welcome. I’m Beth, a licensed clinical social worker. I believe that life can be overwhelming, and we may need extra support at times to navigate it. My goal is to provide a supportive and safe place for people to work toward personal goals and improve their overall wellbeing. My approach is person-centered and strength based so your goals and strengths are highlighted in our work together. I strive to help individuals feel safe to explore the difficulties they may be experiencing regarding issues such as anxiety, depression, and coping skills. I utilize a warm, nonjudgmental, collaborative approach to provide support while exploring these difficulties.
I am a compassionate therapist who is dedicated to supporting individuals with care and respect.
Whether you are navigating a new season of life, feeling stuck, or looking for better balance, therapy can be a space to support you.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, and I believe that therapy should feel like a safe, judgment-free space where you can be yourself, feel heard and work toward meaningful change.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of therapeutic settings, including school-based behavioral health and outpatient clinics. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to support individuals and families through anxiety, stress, emotional challenges, life transitions, behavioral concerns, relationship difficulties, and other experiences that can make a life feel overwhelming.
I work with children ages 6 and older, adolescents, and adults, and I understand that therapy looks different for everyone. With children and teens, I focus on building trust and creating a space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves. I also believe in working collaboratively with parents and caregivers when appropriate, because supporting the while family can be an important part of progress. With adults, I strive to create a genuine and supportive environment where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and develop practical tools to move forward. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, feeling stuck, navigating a major life change, or simply feeling like you need someone in your corner, you don't have to figure everything out on your own.
My approach is person centered, compassionate and collaborative. I don't believe there is a one size fits all approach for therapy. I take time to understand who you are, what has brought you to therapy, and what you hope to get from the experience. Together, we can identify goals that feel meaningful to you and work at a pace that feels comfortable. I want my clients to leave sessions feeling heard, understood and supported, while also gaining practical strategies they can use in their everyday lives.
