New to Grow
I believe that no matter what someone has been through, change is possible. Life can be overwhelming, relationships can become painful, and it's easy to feel stuck in patterns that seem impossible to break. I love helping individuals and couples better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and find hope again. My counseling style is warm, honest, and collaborative. I want my clients to feel safe enough to be themselves without fear of judgment, while also feeling supported and challenged to make meaningful changes. Together, we'll explore the experiences and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, gain a better understanding of what's beneath the surface, and develop practical skills to help you move forward with greater confidence and peace. As a Christian therapist, I enjoy working with clients who want to include their faith as part of the counseling process. I enjoy blending biblical wisdom with evidence-based therapy in a way that feels natural and meaningful. I believe real change happens through both compassion and accountability. I'll meet you with empathy, but I won't leave you where you are. I'll help you recognize the patterns that are holding you back, encourage you to see things from new perspectives, and equip you with practical tools to create lasting change in your life and relationships.
Your first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you to counseling, what you're currently struggling with, and what you hope will be different. I'll ask questions to better understand your story, and you'll have the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and discuss what the next steps might look like. There is no pressure to share everything in one session—we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I believe insight alone doesn't create change—**insight is where change begins**. I believe healing happens through genuine human connection, not behind a clinical mask. I'll show up as my authentic self—with warmth, honesty, and, when the moment calls for it, laughter or tears—because I believe we're meant to be human together.
I enjoy working with individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, perfectionism, people-pleasing, boundary issues, and other patterns that keep them from living with peace and purpose. I also welcome clients who want to explore how unresolved wounds, low self-worth, or rigid thinking may be affecting their lives and relationships. As a Christian counselor, I'm happy to incorporate faith and biblical principles into therapy for those who desire it.
