Hi there! I have been working in the mental health field since graduating with my Master’s in Counseling in 2015. I began my counseling career providing evidence-based family therapies for several years before transitioning to individual counseling. I take an eclectic approach to therapy because everyone is unique and deserves treatment that is tailored to their individual needs. I love connecting with my clients and helping them develop a more compassionate view of themselves, recognize their strengths, and build confidence in their ability to live the life they want. If you think we may be a good fit, I’d love for you to reach out so we can connect.
Hello! My name is Zach Soohy. I am a PA licensed mental health counselor and have worked with clients in several mental health fields for the last 9 years. I own, operate, and counsel through my own LLC practice (Forged Through Adversity LLC) that specializes in helping clients work through trauma, abuse, grief, ADHD, and self-worth/self-esteem issues, though I also have worked with many other kinds of mental health and addiction-based issues as well. Hi! My name is Sarah Silverman, I have been working in the field of mental health for over eight years. I have experience working in a variety of settings, but getting to work individually with clients in outpatient therapy is my absolute favorite. I am often described as having a calming and empathetic personality. In my spare time, I love spending time with friends, cuddling my two orange cats, trying out a new delicious food, reading, or playing video games.
I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. I completed my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania in 2013. I have been actively practicing counseling since then in a variety of settings, including a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, private practice, and in a community agency. Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through the state of Pennsylvania, I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) in Pennsylvania. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) from the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have been a clinician for 10 years working in all different areas of behavioral health. My job is to help patients on their journey of growth and change so that they may obtain their personal life goals.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Bradley Peters. I am a transplanted Canadian, who has been living in Pennsylvania since 2001, just before 9/11. I have been a therapeutic specialist in the field for over 17 years.
Reaching out to a professional can be daunting, but once you do, having that support and learning tools to help change those painful feelings becomes invaluable. My practice is small, isolated and private. I serve adolescents and adults 14 and up.
Currently, I am only seeing clients through telehealth, but I am hoping this does not dissuade you. Telehealth may sound impersonal, but in reality, it can be a very convenient, safe and secure way to communicate issues, and I have yet to have any difficulties establishing strong relationships through this medium.
I work with adults across Pennsylvania, Delaware, South Carolina, and Florida through secure telehealth sessions, offering a warm, steady space to navigate life's big transitions — retirement, relocation, divorce, widowhood, caring for aging parents, grief, and the anxiety and relationship strains that often come with change. I especially enjoy working with people in midlife and beyond who are asking "what's next?" and want support figuring it
Hi there! I’m Sarah :) Congratulations at taking the first step in reaching out to a counselor. I can understand how difficult it can be for some to make that decision. It can be hard to admit when someone feels like they need additional help in their lives to get things moving in a positive direction. It's important to recognize that this is not a flaw, and that teamwork is sometimes the best solution for an issue. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is very important and that you need to feel comfortable with someone to open up and trust. I would be honored to be a part of your journey to help you find your desired goals.
Hi, my name is Tara! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and have been providing therapy for over 10 years. My goal is to create a steady, compassionate space where you feel genuinely heard and supported as we explore what’s bringing you to therapy.
My name is Barbara Gibbons, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Certified

All behavior is purposeful. This means that we never do anything for no reason. Even when our behavior appears confusing or counterproductive to our values, our behavior has meaning and purpose. Therapy is a setting where we can gain insight about the origins of our perceptions, thinking and behavior. With clearer understanding, we are better equipped to identify factors within our control and consider alternative responses to our conditions. We gain awareness of the needs that are being met by potentially self-defeating thinking or behaviors and have a special opportunity to practice new thinking in the safety of therapy.

Hi! I'm Nikki, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Greater Pittsburgh Area that's been recognized as Marquis Who's Who Honoree Listee. I've been working in human services for 28 years starting with an Alzheimer's unit in a nursing home and intellectual disabilities in group homes to wraparound services with children that have Autism. I gained my education in psychology and counseling and began working with at risk youth in juvenile delinquency settings and now working with transition aged youth. I really enjoy helping young adults find themselves and their path in life with their personal life and professional endeavors. I've also grown with the BFRB community (body focused repetitive behavior) being recovered myself and providing outreach and advocacy. I have been featured on the Dr. Oz television show, spoken at the Pennsylvania Counseling Association, and written an article in a book. My main approach is a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for general anxiety and depression and sometimes integrate expressive arts approaches for those that have difficulty expressing themselves. I specialize in OCD and am trained in Habit Reversal, ACT, COMB and ERP. I currently only offer online therapy and do not accept clients with severe mental illness, active suicidality or substance use.
On a personal note, I'm married with a daughter and we enjoy outdoor activities. My hobbies include crocheting and scrapbooking. I really believe in "You are the author of your own life story" and would like to hear your story as you're the expert! I teach by my own SELF approach: S for searching your soul and what works for you, E for changing your environment from a toxic one to a healthy one, L for surrounding yourself with those that love and support you and learning to love yourself, and F for forgiving yourself for relapses.
I believe healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I provide a collaborative space where we can explore life's challenges, and reconnect to a sense of purpose. I work with adults of all ages and have a special interest in supporting older adults, as well as people experiencing life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, or spiritual concerns. For clients who desire it, I integrate spirituality and the Christian faith into the therapeutic process in ways that are meaningful and respectful of each person's faith. In addition to being a therapist, I am also an ordained minister who works with people of various faiths.
As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am committed to providing an affirming environment for LGBTQ individuals. I recognize that navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, and faith can be complex. I strive to create a space where every person feels respected, valued, and empowered to live authentically.
My approach focuses on the whole person—mind, body, emotions, relationships, and spirit. I use emotional freedom technique and mindfulness based therapy. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
Hello! I’m Michelina, though you can call me Michelle. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 12 years of experience, based in Pennsylvania. I hold a Master’s degree from Fordham University, and my focus is on helping adults navigate the challenges of anxiety and depression. Together, we work as a team to manage symptoms and guide you toward becoming the best version of yourself.
I've always believed that most people aren't broken, they're stuck. And stuck is something we can work with. For 15 years I have worked with a wide range of people: veterans carrying wounds that never got proper attention, couples trying to find their way to a healthier relationship, individuals wrestling with OCD or trauma or habits they can't seem to shake, and families navigating transitions that turned their world upside down.
I tend to be direct yet compassionate in the way approach therapy and to what my clients are dealing with. The best complement for me is when a client tells me how they felt seen and heard unlike they have had previously.
I have a particular place in my heart for those living between worlds - racial minorities, expats, and members of immigrant communities who are navigating the push and pull of various socio-cultural forces. I understand that experience from the inside, not just from a textbook.
If you are someone who is ready to engage honestly and wants a clinician who will meet you with both expertise and genuine care, please reach out.
