Are you dealing with the life stressors of being a teenager or emerging adult? Feeling stuck? Depressed? Anxious? Well, you’ve already passed the most difficult part which was seeking help. I empower teens and emerging adults (ages 13+) to overcome daily struggles and live in their best potential at the best version of themselves. Together, we will work to identify your strengths and get you back to your higher self with balance. We will use a client-centered and strength-based approach to address the needs of your mental health. I also utilize a lot of cognitive behavioral techniques to assist with getting your mind, body, and spirit aligned. I love to incorporate lots of therapeutic activities with a primary focus on building self-efficacy. I have years of experience with trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, etc. You deserve to be the best version of you. Let me help you by offering a safe, therapeutic space for you to heal. What are you waiting for? Book me if you’re motivated to make change!
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be all about me getting to know you and the current challenges/struggles you face. I will gather information and learn about your needs. I will also discuss with you your treatment goals and what you hope to gain from therapy. I will share my thoughts and recommendations on what I believe is the best treatment for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to integrate evidence-based practices with culturally responsive, client-centered care. I prioritize building a strong, authentic therapeutic relationship while tailoring interventions to each client’s lived experience, values, and goals. My work focuses not only on symptom reduction, but also on emotional regulation, self-understanding, and sustainable personal growth. Clients often report feeling deeply seen, supported, and empowered in their healing process.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to work with clients who are tired of surviving and ready to feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally regulated. I support teens and emerging adults who are navigating life transitions, self-doubt, anxiety, depression, grief, mild trauma, and relationship challenges. My clients often come in wanting clarity, tools they can actually use, and a therapeutic space that feels real, affirming, and culturally aware.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I tailor CBT interventions to address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. I emphasize the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviors, guiding clients to challenge cognitive distortions and build healthier thought patterns. I also integrate homework and real-life practice to promote long term change. I value collaboration, psychoeducation, and adapting CBT to fit individual developmental and cultural needs.
Humanistic
This approach allows me to support clients in exploring their inner experiences, values and personal meaning at their own pace. I emphasize active listening, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity to build a strong therapeutic alliance which is central to healing and growth. I use a client-centered lens to assist with developing a strong sense of identify and self-worth, particularly during times of transition or emotional distress.
