As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of clinical experience—and more than 20 years in leadership and behavioral health programming—I’m deeply committed to helping individuals, couples, and families connect, heal, and thrive. I offer personalized, evidence-based counseling services for people facing a wide range of life challenges, from anxiety, depression, and trauma to relationship issues, identity exploration, and performance struggles.
I specialize in empowering clients across the lifespan, drawing on Reality Therapy and other client-centered approaches to help you take control of your life, reconnect with what matters most, and make meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re seeking support through a difficult transition or ready to overcome long-standing obstacles, I provide a warm, collaborative space to clarify your goals and build the tools to achieve them.
I have been working in this field for 6 years. I have worked with aIl walks of life. I believe it is important to create a relationship built on trust and mutual respect. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's degree in Clinical mental health therapy. My main goal is to focus on the goals identified and to help you create the kind of life you deserve while providing guidance and support.
I like to utilize the person-centered approach for my treatment and really focus on what your needs are and how we can improve the quality of life together. The focus is on you and what you need and what steps we can take to get there together. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, which focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, encouraging, identifying and implementing coping skills individualized to you. I encourage humor and honesty to build a trusting relationship.
I have worked with children, teens, young adults, and older adults. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, anger, self esteem, communication, and tailor your treatment needs to you.
If you feel stuck in patterns you know aren’t good for you—but can’t seem to break—you’re not alone. Maybe your mind won’t shut off. You overthink everything, question yourself constantly, or find yourself pulled back into the same relationships or habits, even when you know better. It’s exhausting… and frustrating. I help people understand why this happens and, more importantly, how to actually change it. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working in mental health, including private practice, substance use, and online therapy.
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We will identify the patterns keeping you stuck, challenge the beliefs that reinforce them and build tools you can actually use. My goal isn’t just for you to feel better in session—it’s for you to leave with the ability to stay better. Therapy should be active and purposeful.
While processing is important, real change happens when you’re willing to step outside your comfort zone and stay accountable to your growth. I’ll support you through that—but I will also challenge you when needed, because that’s where real change happens. If you’re ready to stop repeating the same cycles and start creating lasting change, I'm here to help!
Fulfilling our potential is a lifelong journey of becoming more at peace with ourselves, deepening the intimacy in our relationships, being more authentically human, and feeling more alive each day. Along the way, certain challenges arise to cause us distress or confusion. Such moments can make us feel held back, afraid, or unsure of where to go from here. But these moments can also be the points of growth and healing from which we renew ourselves in ways we did not think possible.
It is a great privilege helping men and women in their search to improve their relationship with themselves and others, to lessen the burden of emotional pain, to experience freedom from addictions, or to embark on new life challenges - to find the hope and courage needed to take those important next steps.

Hi, I'm a licensed clinical social worker based in northeast Pennsylvania with over 25 years experience as a psychotherapist. I received my bachelors degree from Swarthmore College, my masters degree from Columbia University School of Social Work and I completed a post graduate fellowship in psychiatry at the Yale University Psychiatric Institute. Over the years I've worked with clients of all ages struggling with a wide variety of disorders. Primarily, I help adults 18+ who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and alcohol use disorders. I view our work together as a collaborative venture where I help you to identify troublesome thoughts and behaviors and replace them with positive ones. We will accomplish this utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and other forms of therapy as needed.
I am a therapist who specializes in Addiction Recovery, Anxiety and Depressive Disorders. I prefer a Biopsychosocial approach to therapy. I recognize that past trauma, maladaptive thought patterns and environment contribute greatly to how we perceive others and how we "show up" in the world. My job is to challenge thought patterns and support growth while clients empower themselves to make change and develop strategies to improve circumstances.
I am an empathic, supportive therapist who utilizes therapeutic tools to empower my clients to lead more fulfilling lives. Many of my clients are women who identify as Black or Latino and have a history of childhood trauma or are in difficult relationships with their partners or family. I see clients age 20 to 100.
Therapy requires a commitment of time and financial resources. I start out seeing my clients once per week. If you are unable to make the time commitment, I am likely not the best match for your needs.
I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.

I am a therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families create meaningful, lasting change—especially during some of the most challenging and complex moments in their lives. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and families who are navigating trauma, behavioral concerns, and system involvement. Many of the clients I serve have experienced disruptions in attachment, high-stress environments, or significant life events that continue to impact their relationships, emotional well-being, and decision-making.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working with individual clients for over 10 years. I’m Beth, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, and I believe therapy should be a place where you can finally exhale. A place where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay, have the perfect words, or worry about being judged.
My goal is to help you understand what’s keeping you stuck, develop practical tools to manage what you’re facing, and feel more confident navigating your life. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationships, parenting, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed by everything on your plate, we’ll work together to help you feel more in control and more like yourself again.
I’m a highly empathetic person, and I believe compassion, authenticity, and trust are essential to meaningful therapeutic work. As a wife and mother of two young adults, I understand that life can be complicated, messy, and exhausting! When appropriate, I believe humor can bring a little lightness to difficult moments. I’m also a firm believer that a little chocolate can’t hurt either. 🍫
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 20 years as an educator in Philadelphia, working with children and families, many of whom faced significant emotional and mental health challenges. I saw firsthand how easily emotional needs can be overlooked while the focus remains on academics and behavior. Those experiences ultimately led me to pursue mental health counseling so I could support individuals and families on a deeper, more personal level.
I believe that where you are today does not have to determine where you end up and meaningful change is possible.

I tend to work best with people who want to understand themselves more deeply, including why they keep getting stuck in the same patterns even when they know those patterns are not working for them. I spent most of my career in community mental health, working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and with a wide range of problems. My approach is relational and psychodynamic, so I’m interested in how your past experiences, relationships, and the world around you have shaped who you are today. I’m not a therapist who is going to give you a worksheet for every problem. I listen closely, ask a lot of questions, and will challenge you when I think it might be helpful. I take therapy seriously, but I’m not especially formal, and humor tends to find its way into the work.
