About me

I’m a licensed clinical social worker who believes therapy should feel like a real conversation—not a test, not a lecture, and definitely not something you have to “perform” for. My goal is to create a space where you can breathe, slow down, and talk honestly about what’s going on without feeling judged or overwhelmed. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship stress, burnout, and big life transitions. I blend approaches like trauma-informed CBT, ACT, DBT skills, solution-focused work, and mind-body techniques to help you make sense of what you’re feeling and build tools that actually fit your life. I’m gentle when you need space, direct when you want clarity, and collaborative every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take things slowly and create a space where you can feel safe, supported, and understood. I’ll ask a few gentle questions to learn what brings you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope to feel or change. You don’t need to have everything figured out or share anything before you’re ready—your comfort and emotional safety come first. We’ll talk about what’s been challenging for you lately, explore what’s been helping (or not helping), and start identifying the goals or shifts you want to work toward. I’ll also explain how I can support you using approaches that fit your needs, whether that’s building coping skills, understanding patterns, or working through past experiences at a pace that feels safe for you. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of what working together will look like, what the next steps are, and—most importantly—you’ll feel heard and grounded in a space designed to be safe, respectful, and truly yours.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create a safe, grounded space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood, and my skill in making complex emotions and experiences feel manageable. I’m warm, direct, and collaborative—I don’t just listen; I help you make sense of what you’re feeling and find practical steps forward. I'm easy to talk to, I help connect the dots quickly, and I offer guidance without judgment or pressure.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship stress, burnout, or major life transitions who want a space that feels supportive, honest, and grounded. I connect really well with clients who are strong and capable in their daily lives but want a space to slow down, be honest, and get support for the things they’ve been carrying quietly. I help people make sense of their emotions, understand patterns, and build practical skills they can use right away. Whether you're healing from past experiences, improving boundaries, or trying to feel more balanced and in control, I meet you where you are and guide you at a pace that feels safe and empowering.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I integrate ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility by learning to observe thoughts and emotions without judgment while reconnecting to their personal values. In practice, I use mindfulness, acceptance skills, and values mapping to help clients take meaningful action, reduce avoidance, and develop a more grounded, authentic way of living.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT-informed strategies to support clients with emotional regulation, stress, and relationship challenges. My approach focuses on the four core skill areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I help clients understand their emotional patterns, build tolerance for discomfort, and develop healthier communication and coping skills.

Positive Psychology

I integrate Positive Psychology to help clients identify their strengths, expand resilience, and build a greater sense of hope and meaning. In practice, this often includes exploring personal strengths, reframing limiting beliefs, identifying sources of joy or connection, and intentionally cultivating habits that support well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using trauma-informed CBT to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. I use this method to gently explore patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and strengthen coping skills at a pace that feels safe. My approach integrates grounding, somatic awareness, and practical skill-building so clients can regain a sense of control and reduce trauma-related symptoms.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence, strengthen intrinsic motivation, and make sustainable changes. My approach focuses on collaboration, reflective listening, and helping clients identify their own reasons for growth.
