During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio. I earned my Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University and my Master of Education degree in Leadership and Higher Education. I have spent the past 14 years supporting teens and young adults through some of the most formative — and overwhelming — seasons of life.
My name is Amber. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Ohio. My role is to empower you on this journey of self-actualization. I bring authenticity, warmth, and a solution-oriented approach. We will be working side by side to identify your goals, values, and strengths. From there, we will process past experiences to help you move on to becoming your best self. I have been helping clients achieve their goals for the past several years. These clients range from the age of one-year-old to over fifty-years-old. About 60% of my clients are 12 and under. In working with younger children, I have had the most success using telehealth when parents are present to monitor, arrange a predictable environment, and assist with any technical issues. In working with younger children, the parents’ role is vital. I work as a team with parents and caregivers to build a healthy relationship and find the appropriate strengths-based parenting strategies for the child. Recommended parenting techniques are largely based on the Conscious Discipline model which encourages mindful parenting. With younger children, the parents’ cooperation is imperative to reach desired behavioral goals. I also draw from the approaches outlined in Working with Challenging Youth by Brent Richardson, Ed.D.
I’m a Veteran turned Therapist.
I believe that the client needs to express the issues and trauma that they have along with being given coping skills and tools to deal with The symptoms associated with them.
I believe in being proactive. I don’t want the client to think that I’m just there listening and nodding my head. I want them to know that this is a collaborative process and I’m in it with them to help them become with self and overcome any obstacles in their way.

Hello! I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Ohio. I received my Master's in Social Work from Ohio University and have been practicing for 6 years. I've helped individuals 5 to 65 years of age struggling with things such as various mood disorders, anxiety, and addiction become the best versions of themselves. Being trained as a Social Worker, I strongly believe that people should be treated with respect and care, regardless of their life circumstances. I am intentional when working with clients to partner with them in setting goals, changing behaviors, and addressing symptoms to help empower and encourage them to be the version of themselves they want to be.

I provide a supportive, compassionate space where you can begin to explore those feelings without judgment. My work centers individuals navigating anxiety, depression, mood-related challenges, relationship concerns, and the lasting impact of trauma.

Many of my clients are unpacking experiences related to abandonment, rejection, identity concerns, or emotional overwhelm. I also support neurodivergent individuals who are seeking greater understanding of themselves and more effective ways to regulate their emotions and experiences.
My approach is warm, intentional, and grounded in the belief that healing does not have to feel cold or clinical. Hi! It's just Jamie. I have been in the social service field since 1999 where I started as a case manager and worked my way up to where I am today. I do not feel like there is a population I have not worked with over the years. I am a mom first but my husband at times has said I am married to my work. I am very laid back but will advocate for my clients as no other. Some of my former clients refer to me as a pit bull when it comes to them getting what they need to be successful, I am a advocate by nature. My hobbies include trips to the ocean, riding on the back of the motorcycle, writing and star gazing with my kiddos.
