New to Grow
I’m a laid-back and easygoing person who genuinely enjoys helping others. In my free time, you’ll often find me reading a good book, trying a new coffee drink, or spending time with friends. I believe it’s so important to identify the things that bring you joy and meaning, and I’m passionate about helping others discover those things for themselves. Becoming a therapist has been one of the most meaningful and impactful parts of my life. I value meeting people exactly where they are and walking alongside them in their healing journey. I’ve often been described as a great listener and someone who is open-minded and nonjudgmental—qualities I intentionally bring into every session. My goal is to provide steady support, encouragement, and perspective as my clients navigate the complexities of life. It’s a privilege to be invited into someone’s story, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, I will introduce myself and take time to answer any questions you may have. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand you, your experiences, and what has brought you to therapy. We will discuss your goals, explore your expectations for the process, and begin identifying what you hope to achieve. From there, we will collaborate to create a treatment plan that is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and aspirations.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach to therapy is rooted in a client-centered framework. I prioritize your unique needs, experiences, and goals, and I am committed to meeting you exactly where you are. Together, we will collaborate to create a path forward that feels both meaningful and attainable. I bring extensive experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care. Early in my career, I worked closely with survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, which deepened my understanding of the complex and lasting impact trauma can have. Trauma affects each person differently, and healing is rarely linear. There is no hierarchy of pain—no two individuals experience an event in the same way, and every story deserves compassion and respect. One of my greatest passions is helping clients clarify the life they want to live and the person they want to become. From there, we work together to break that vision into practical, achievable steps—building momentum, resilience, and confidence along the way.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are those who are ready for meaningful change—individuals who are willing to show up, be open, and lean into vulnerability. Therapy is not always easy; some sessions can feel challenging or even uncomfortable. Yet those very moments often lead to the most powerful growth. The relationship you have with yourself is the one relationship that will remain with you throughout your entire life. Because of that, it deserves care, attention, and intentional work. Investing in yourself through therapy can be one of the most transformative steps you take toward building a stronger, healthier, and more compassionate connection with who you are.
