Hello!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained my degree from Marywood University’s Graduate School of Social Work. I completed my undergraduate education at Cedar Crest College, with dual majors in Psychology and Sociology. I have provided counseling in many settings including the geriatric, non-profit and healthcare fields, for over 18 years. I also hold post-graduate certificates in Gerontology, and Palliative/End of Life Care. I am pursuing my doctorate in social work in a program through Kutztown University.
I believe in building a solid therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy and respect using a variety of techniques, and building from a strengths-based perspective to help foster understanding, coping and change. My eclectic therapeutic techniques often include CBT, transformational and psychodynamic approaches, individualized in relation to each client’s need and provided through a trauma informed lens. I am experienced in individual, family, and group counseling.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. My hope is to provide a safe, nonjudgemental environment for you to discover yourself and to start on the road to healing. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
Best,
Christina
Hi, so glad you stopped by, please call me Cindy. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the states of MA, VT, NJ, VA, NC, SC and TX. I focus on how the events of childhood, and life experiences shape the person, including reactions and behaviors in stressful events and all relationships: romantic, friendship and family. I am inquisitive, and I use a down to earth style with a holistic approach. I believe that in order to thrive, we must come to terms with our negative thoughts, determine the root cause of our negative thoughts and then heal from within by providing our body with proper sleep, nurishment and movement. I find it's important to find a hobby or passion we enjoy and to spend time with those who provide us safety, security and who allow us to be our genuine self. Also, spending time in nature, whether that is at the beach, park, hiking trail, or just under a tree enjoying a good book or taking a nap can also be revitalizing. Please allow me to help you to better understand how your trauma may have affected your relationships and what you may do that will allow you to live a more fully present life.

Hi there!
A lot of people think therapy is a one-sided conversation, with little opportunity to experience each other as real people. My clients know that I am as real as it gets! I want to help you achieve your goals, learn more about yourself, and understand how your mind and brain work. While progressing along this path, you will enjoy the process of learning about yourself and perceiving yourself in new ways. My experience is that therapy doesn't need to be painful. I know it can be intimidating to call a therapist, but I hope you will call me and see how I can help you.
My background is in neuropsychology, so I enjoy helping people understand how their brains work, in order to find the best way to manage anxiety, depression, and just plain dealing with life!

My name is Ashley and I have been a therapist for 11 years now. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my pets. Therapy has a lot to do with the bond between the therapist and the client. Change really can happen if the relationship is there. Most treatment methods can be fairly applicable if you develop that relationship. If you have found that to be a struggle in the past you may of had a bad connection with your therapist.

I work with Substance Use Disorder OP Treatment including MAT as well as other mental health concerns. From Acute Stress to Chronic and Complex PTSD my experiences and training can support you on your journey to long term wellness and development of the life you've always known you were capable of growing.
I have worked in the human service field for approximately 20 years. I have had the pleasure of working with mental health, developmentally disabled and substance abuse populations. I have worked with Assisted Medication Management and active military members and their families. My greatest reward as a therapist is helping my clients explore ways to make the changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope. I believe that we all need someone to talk with who will really listen and accept us as we are, without judgment. I provide my clients with that warm, nonjudgmental environment—a safe place to explore the issues that may be preventing them from living the life they want.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Substance Abuse Supervisor. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Therapy and psycho-education extensively. My experience includes working with clients dealing with divorce and single-parenting, addictions, grief, women’s issues, and mood disorders, among other challenges. I find that my great passion is working with individuals and children.
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing client centered, solution focused therapy for over 25 years with an established private practice since 2005. In my practice, my goal is to provide a supportive environment which allows clients to identify and achieve their goals.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I provide training and consultation services regionally and nationally on trauma informed care, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), sexually harmful behavior, vicarious trauma and self-care.
