Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our initial session will provide an opportunity for us to learn a little about ourselves by way of an introduction. I will then set out to explore with you your primary reasons for seeking therapy as well as secondary goals you would like to work on, once your most urgent needs are addressed. Your self identified goals will help me to develop a plan that will guide the course of following sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With 18 years as a clinical social worker, my greatest strength is my ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges—young adults stepping into independence, professionals managing career and life transitions, parents balancing responsibilities, and those navigating periods of uncertainty. My experience spans diverse settings, allowing me to understand and adapt to each person’s unique circumstances. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. Therapy is a deeply personal process, and I respect the individuality of each person’s journey. My approach is flexible, shaped by years of working with people in different stages of life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with professional men and women who are striving to create meaningful change in their lives. Whether you're navigating career stress, life transitions, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I provide a supportive space to help you gain clarity and confidence. I also enjoy working with young adults who are in college or just starting out in their careers, helping them build a strong foundation for their future. If you're struggling with a major life change or a difficult situation that feels overwhelming, you don’t have to go through it alone. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences have shaped you and develop strategies to move forward in a way that aligns with your goals and values. My goal is to help you build the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful patterns of thought that contribute to feelings of distress. We will work together to develop healthier ways of thinking and coping, empowering you to manage anxiety, depression, and other challenges more effectively. I will help you develop practical strategies to create meaningful change in your daily life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients better manage their emotions, build stronger relationships, and cope with stress. By developing practical skills in mindfulness, communication, and emotional balance, I support clients in navigating everyday life with more confidence and ease.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), I work alongside my clients to identify strengths, set goals, and find practical solutions to life’s challenges. Together, we focus on what’s working, build on small successes, and develop strategies that create meaningful change in everyday life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Change can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out alone.
