Greetings, I am Dr. Christina Phillips, and I am here to help you. I have over 7 years of experience providing therapy in the home and in an office setting. I believe that therapy is a place for clients to realize their goals and discover who they were meant to be. I have experience with a diverse range of clients, and I appreciate the uniqueness of every client.
In the first session, we will focus on the goals and interests of the client. Clients will get to know me, and I will get to know them. We will focus on building rapport in our therapeutic relationship and set expectations for treatment.
As a provider, I have great compassion for my clients. I can empathize with their story. I have the skill set to help clients engage in problem solving and goal setting. I truly care for my clients and want them to succeed.
I have experience working with children, teens, and adults. I love helping the broken hearted heal, and help clients mend relationships with family and friends. I have worked with clients with ADHD, PTSD, trauma, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, etc.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have experience using this treatment method to address negwtive thoughts and restructure them into positive ones.
Strength-Based
Everyone has their strengths, and through counseling, they can be uncovered. These strengths can help clients overcome their problems.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I have used this to help clients work through various traumas, especially with a PTSD diagnosis. The idea is to challenge the cognitions around trauma and draw strengths from it.
Child Parent Psychotherapy
I have provided family therapy for several years now. I use techniques to improve the relationship between parent and child and help manage the child's behavior.
Christian Counseling
I offer biblical based counseling as requested. We can explore and go on a faith journey together.
