What's been happening? My name is Erin, I am a licensed clinical social worker currently based in North Carolina. I received my Masters from Fordham University in New York, where I grew up. I have been working in the field for several years and have experience in different settings and practices. I have recently started the journey of working for myself and provide therapy and life coaching.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will go through background information, goals, and what brought you in. We will go over any questions or concerns at that time and I will go over my therapy style and what to expect for our time together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I love being able to encourage and support my clients. I will do my best to guide them to succeed towards the goals they have set for themselves. I will challenge my clients and help them believe in themselves.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Clients can expect a collaborative and goal-oriented approach focused on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. There will be help developing practical strategies to modify these patterns, fostering positive changes in their emotions and behaviors over time. The sessions often involve structured discussions, problem-solving exercises, and homework assignments to promote ongoing self-reflection and skill development.

Motivational Interviewing

Clients can expect empathetic listening, open-ended questions, and reflective techniques to enhance the client's intrinsic motivation and commitment to making positive changes. Together, they collaboratively set goals and develop strategies to overcome barriers, fostering a client-driven approach to behavior change.

Strength-Based

Clients can expect exploring and amplifying the client's abilities, talents, and positive attributes to foster resilience and facilitate personal growth.
