Life can feel heavy sometimes — especially when you’re the one everyone depends on. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, relationship stress, or just feeling emotionally drained, therapy can help you slow down, process what’s going on, and learn healthier ways to cope. My style is warm, supportive, honest, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not like you’re being analyzed under a microscope. We’ll laugh when we can, be real about what’s hard, and work together to help you feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally healthy. Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, burnout, grief, emotional overwhelm, and major life stressors. I became a therapist because I genuinely care about helping people feel less alone during difficult seasons of life. I’ve always been drawn to understanding people, supporting others through challenges, and helping individuals recognize that healing and growth are possible — even when life feels overwhelming. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be honest, supported, and reminded that they do not have to carry everything by themselves. Many of my clients are people who are used to holding everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. They’re exhausted, overthinking everything, emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or feeling disconnected from who they used to be. My therapy style is warm, supportive, relatable, and direct. I’m not the therapist that just nods the entire session while you spiral alone. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you feel genuinely comfortable being honest — without fear of judgment — while also learning practical tools that help in real life.
Starting therapy can feel a little intimidating, so my goal during the first session is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to show up exactly as you are — no pressure and no judgment. During our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. We may explore things like stress, anxiety, relationships, past experiences, emotional overwhelm, or patterns that have been impacting your daily life. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start — that’s my job to help guide. I also use the first session to get to know you as a person, not just your symptoms or struggles. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and discussing what support may look like moving forward. Most importantly, the first session is about building connection and helping you feel emotionally safe. Therapy with me is conversational, collaborative, and real — not cold or overly clinical. Also, awkward first-session nerves are completely normal. Most people feel them.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are creating a space where clients feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood while also helping them make real, meaningful progress. I balance warmth, honesty, and practical support so clients don’t feel judged, rushed, or like they have to “have it all together” in session. What often stands out about my approach is that therapy with me feels human and relatable while still being clinically grounded. I help clients connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and past experiences so they can better understand themselves instead of constantly feeling stuck in survival mode. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed therapy, emotional regulation skill building, mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions, but I tailor therapy to each person rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Clients often appreciate that I can be supportive and compassionate while also helping them challenge unhealthy patterns, improve boundaries, build coping skills, and develop healthier ways of managing stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. In therapy, we’ll work on understanding patterns, improving coping skills, processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, building self-worth, and helping you feel less emotionally weighed down by everything life keeps throwing your way. You don’t have to carry it all alone anymore. Many clients report feeling more emotionally aware, confident, grounded, and better equipped to navigate life both inside and outside of sessions.

I had a great experience. I felt heard and i am looking forward to my next session. Crystal also worked well for me as a military vet and had a good understanding of what vets go through.
