A Big Hello to you. You are scanning all these profiles. Looking for something to stand out to make you say,"I will go with this one." It is daunting but you have made it this far. Here is the tip. Your choice is not terminal. It is absolutely ok to try multiple therapists to see who gets you the best. Who understands you the best. After each session, you should feel lighter. You may not recall all that was said, but you will note how you feel. Did you feel heard? Understood? Did the therapist talk to me like they were reading a book or did it sound like they really got me? When you get the right one, those questions will be answered with a firm, Yes.
Part of individual therapy is talking about friends, partners and loved ones. My training and focus are centered only on heterosexual relationship dynamics.
If you are looking for letters for work, ESA, Social Security, FMLA, Family Court, you will need a psychological evaluation by a forensic psychologist. I am not able to perform assessments, letters for claims or provide appearances in court.

My name is Stephanie, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker living in North Carolina. I have been practicing professionally since 2018, and have worked with diverse populations of children, adults, families and couples, in settings that include private practice, school-based, corporate, agency and crisis work. I have extensive experience working with military-involved families, justice-involved individuals and their families, and those who are or have been deeply involved in faith communities. I take a systems-minded approach that looks at all of the layers surrounding an individual and seeks to enhance both nurturing of self and a healthy attachment to layers of community care. My favorite part of being a clinician is having the privilege of witness folks learn and develop their own strengths and truths, and become holistically healthier, more empowered, and more in control of their own lives.

Life can feel overwhelming at times — stress, anxiety, grief, or transitions may leave you feeling stuck, inadequate, or uncertain about the future. If this sounds familiar, you don’t have to face it alone. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you find clarity, strength, and a renewed sense of balance so you can live more fully.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting in a stiff chair while someone silently nods at you. I bring both professionalism and a sense of humor into the room, because sometimes laughter really is the best coping skill .I’ve worked with teens, college students, and adults for the last 7 years. Some common concerns I have helped navigate are stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and the big messy in-betweens that don’t necessarily always fit neatly into a diagnosis.
Hi, my name is Debbie.
Are you struggling with anxiety, fear, depression, anger, disappointment, trauma or difficult relationships?
I have worked with all ages and walks of life in my 25 years of experience. As a seasoned therapist. I believe that a successful outcome of therapy goals begins with a harmonious relationship with the client. This begins with a clear understanding of the needs and desires of the client.
My approach is to have a kind, caring and sensitive demeanor, yet, direct and firm as needed to achieve success. I strive to listen well and give appropriate feedback.
I attribute my successful record as a therapist to having the education, knowledge, work experience, and confidence to work with each client and consider it a privilege to work with each one.
I would be honored to work with you.
Max Ehrmann’s poem, Desiderata reads “you are a child of the universe and have a right to be here. In the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul”. I would be honored to assist you on your healing journey.

My approach is treating the whole person because most of the time our problems are the outcome of more than just one thing and when I get to know you I am able to address different issues that could be contributing to that one specific problem. We all experience some difficulties in our lives sometimes and we all cope differently. What works for one person/couple who are experiencing a similar situation may not work for another and so I personalize your treatment to fit you. Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a licensed therapist in New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina who helps people feeling burned out, anxious, or stuck in survival mode reconnect with balance and purpose. Many of my clients come to me after feeling overwhelmed by work, relationships, or the constant pressure to keep going — even when they’re running on empty.
I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and learn healthier ways to cope. My style is compassionate and collaborative — I meet you where you are and help you build practical tools for stress, boundaries, and self-care that actually fit your life.
Before starting my private practice, I worked in behavioral health settings supporting individuals living with substance use, bipolar disorder, and other chronic mental health conditions. That experience taught me that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all — and that real change happens when therapy feels safe, personalized, and empowering.
If you’re ready to move from burnout to balance, I’d love to help you take that next step.
I’m an empathetic therapist, certified life coach, and stress management consultant who believes healing happens when we nurture the mind, body, and soul together. Hello! Are you experiencing feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, or hopelessness? Are you facing challenges in your life or relationships? As your therapist, my primary goal is to create a safe environment where we can explore the underlying reasons for your concerns and provide you with the genuine support needed to facilitate the changes you desire. If you seek to restore your joy, strength, and peace through counseling, this therapeutic relationship can be effective. You possess the resources necessary for improvement and transformation within yourself.
I provide individual and family therapy using a person-centered, collaborative approach that meets you where you are—without judgment and without pressure to be “fixed.” I view therapy as a partnership, and I work alongside clients to support meaningful, sustainable change.
My approach focuses on helping clients identify their strengths, increase self-awareness, recognize support systems, and take accountability in ways that promote growth rather than shame. I use an eclectic, evidence-based framework, drawing from Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-based practices. Interventions are always tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.
My work is grounded in a few core beliefs: people are doing the best they can with the skills they have, people are capable of change, and people do get better. I also believe that a strong therapeutic relationship creates the safety necessary for healing and growth.
To support progress outside of sessions, I may offer practical, collaborative between-session exercises that help clients apply skills in their daily lives.
I am a Christian counselor, and my faith informs my values of compassion, dignity, and respect. I work with individuals from all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities, and faith is incorporated into therapy only when requested by the client.
In addition to my professional role, I am a wife, lifelong learner, and mother of three, including a son on the autism spectrum. These experiences deepen my empathy and understanding of caregiving, advocacy, and navigating complex systems.
I'm Brenda Moore and I've been a licensed therapist in North Carolina for over 19 years and working in the mental health field for over 28 years. I love to help people find their inner struggles to build their own strength and find resilience in their lives. I'm here to guide and encourage you - I'm not here to solve problems for you, but rather to assist in finding the best way to solve the problems yourself. I meet with clients in a telehealth setting. It's a way for you to be in an environment that is comfortable for you and also to provide you more accessibility to mental health.
You deserve support, and if you are coming with your partner , you both do, no matter how hard the road ahead may seem. You need someone that will strive to understand you, but commit to supporting you in moving towards change that feels meaningful. While I will never pretend to know your exact pain, I do find that my experience juggling life as a parent, a partner, and in demanding careers such as corporate leadership and skilled trades have often helped me find a traction point to connect with you , so I can support you.

Welcome! I am a warm, non-judgemental and real person. One of my basic tenants is we, as people, are doing the best we can, and sometimes our conscious or subconscious "plan" to take care of ourselves is just not working anymore. Sometimes we need to develop a new “plan” but that can be difficult and we need help. The relationship with ourselves, family, friends and our community is a pillar to good health and well being. However things get in the way….like trauma, substance use, addiction, depression, anxiety, loneliness, illness, & fear. I want to support your concerns and help you improve your sense of wellbeing.
