Hello and thank you for considering me as your therapist. I have been working in the mental health field since 2016 and I am happy to assist children between the ages of 5-12, adults, couples, and families. I work from an existential, strengths-based format and utilize techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, applied ecopsychology, and Rogerian therapies among many others. I believe that we all have the ability to be successful and happy, but that we sometimes get stuck along the way. That is what I am here for. Let me help you continue your journey.
In our first session together, we will spend time exploring your background and exactly what you feel can be gained through therapy. I feel it is important to understand both where you came from and where you hope to go so that our meetings together will have structure and purpose.
As your provider, I hope to be more than a sympathetic ear. I will help you develop goals and empower you to take the necessary steps to achieve those goals. I am not here to judge you, but I will certainly provide a new perspective on your current challenges that may motivate you to move in a new, healthier direction.
Jason Martin uses a strengths-based perspective to empower clients to recognize their own personal resources in overcoming challenges. He enjoys working with couples and individuals but has extensive experience with the military and first responder community as well.
