Greetings, I'm Kimberly! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in North Carolina and Virginia. Do you feel managing life's transitions is becoming overwhelming? Through telehealth sessions, I assist individuals manage anxiety and depression while identifying ways to increase healthy self-awareness and self-esteem. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and assistance with developing a stronger relationship with yourself. In our first session, we'll start with a brief introduction then go over specific challenges you're experiencing in your life. This will help ups create a person-centered plan for us to work through during follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Although I'm comfortable with helping clients manage symptoms of anxiety and depression, I feel building an appropriate relationship with my client for open and honest conversation results in successful treatment outcomes. I want my clients to feel empowered and confident while developing relationships with themselves and others.

Clients with symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress. I also work with adolescents making the transition to college.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

As a therapist, I strongly believe everyone has strengths and should have a voice concerning what works best for them. By collaborating with my clients, we are able to create a personal plan based on your strengths to challenge/reframe negative thought patterns as a way to achieve your personal goals.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I want to introduce ways for my clients to be more present, teaching ways to pay more attention to thoughts, feelings and body sensations to reduce stress/anxiety; regulate emotions and increase self-awareness.
