I grew up in Las Vegas, NV in a big, blended family. During my internship and following graduation, I worked at an inpatient treatment facility for teens dealing with high suicidality, self-harming behaviors, and psychosis. It was during this time that I began to recognize how much work can be done to prevent crises before they strike, rather than trying to figure it all out afterwards. Also, it isn't just big things like suicide that can be prevented-working to decrease stress, anxiety, increase fulfillment..these are worthwhile too. If you feel nervous/weird/awkward/anxious about therapy, that’s normal. All I can say is, you matter. You are an important part of the world. Let’s work together and see if maybe, just maybe, things could get a little better.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in depression, quick to anger, or frustrated in your relationships — you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel like something just isn’t working, but they can’t quite explain why. Often, these struggles come from early experiences where emotions were ignored, dismissed, or too much for the adults around us to handle. As children, we learn fast: if expressing emotions doesn’t feel safe or accepted, we push them down. Over time, that emotional disconnection can turn into anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or anger that feels hard to control. My work focuses on helping you understand where these patterns come from and how to shift them. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that feels heavy, anger that shows up too fast, or relationship challenges that keep repeating — we’ll work together to untangle the deeper story and build healthier ways of coping, connecting, and feeling. This isn’t just about managing symptoms — it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been shut down for too long.

I am a licensed mental health and addiction counselor with a background in the psychobiology of addiction and a strong focus on helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change. My work blends evidence-based therapy with a trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware approach, recognizing that healing often involves more than insight alone. I am Level 1 Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and use parts-based work to help clients understand internal patterns with curiosity and compassion rather than self-judgment. I am also a Certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Rest & Restore Protocol provider through Unyte Listening Therapies, offering listening-based interventions that support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and a greater sense of safety and connection—particularly for individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress. My therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, and individualized. I work primarily with adults navigating addiction, emotional regulation challenges, relational difficulties, and life transitions. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening internal resources, and building skills that support sustainable change both inside and outside of therapy.

Helping Thoughtful People Get Unstuck and Move Forward Hi, I'm Donavon. I’m a counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience and nearly 30 years working in helping professions. Over the years, clients have described me as encouraging, supportive, compassionate, and understanding. One of the things I do especially well is helping people understand how the challenges they face today developed over time. That doesn’t mean spending weeks reliving the past. Instead, we focus on identifying patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, ADHD-related struggles, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, and then developing practical strategies that help you move forward. My goal is to help people gain insight, develop better coping strategies, and begin making meaningful progress in their lives. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the direction of your life, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and begin moving forward again.

Hello, I'm Sara and LCSW with expereince as a social worker and a therapist for both families and individuals. I help clients achieve their goals by helping them become aware of their own potential. I often start this process by teaching mindfulness and feelings awareness to help clients feel empowered to solve their own emotional problems by learning to cope. I assist clients on what they are feeling and help them learn how to feel things in a safe way. From the time I was young I knew what it felt like to feel grief, and complex emotions regarding myself and my relationships and I am incredibly empathetic and passionate towards others as they begin to heal as someone who has been on both sides of the table. I am a mental health therapist dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the stressors that come with everyday responsibilities. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, collaborative space where you can show up exactly as you are — without judgment. My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in helping you build practical tools you can use in your daily life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps identify how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we work to recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, sustainable change. I also understand that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I tailor treatment to each person’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. As a first-generation Latina, I have a deep appreciation for how culture, family expectations, and lived experiences shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. I strive to create a space where cultural identity is respected and understood, and where clients can openly explore how these influences impact their mental health and relationships. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped with tools that help you move toward the life you want. Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and I am honored to be part of that journey with you. Please note that I do not provide treatment for eating disorders, substance use disorders (including alcohol), or any court-mandated cases.

I blend traditional therapeutic techniques with creative, non-traditional approaches to ensure our work is as dynamic and unique as you are. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, this integrative method allows us to explore challenges from multiple perspectives, keeping our sessions both adaptable and focused. I work best with those who are looking for more than surface-level solutions. Together, we’ll move beyond symptoms to reach meaningful breakthroughs that stick. Through this committed, collaborative process, you’ll gain the self-awareness and practical tools needed to create clarity and lasting change in your daily life.

With almost 20 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have had the privilege of working across a variety of community service settings, including Geropsych, Hospice, Inpatient Psychiatry and Domestic Violence programs. As part of the military community (retired civilian and dependent), I also understand the challenges that can bring, as well. I accept both private pay and most major insurances. As a Behavioral Therapist, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but also integrate Mindfulness, Strengths-Based, and Solution-Focused approaches. My therapeutic style is centered around the person—their strengths, ideas, their unique gifts and goals—empowering clients to create positive change through their own choices and boundary setting.
