Hi! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) from Pennsylvania! I have three years of experience working with clients who are dealing with life changes. I primarily work with young adults but have also found success with younger children and older adults. I look forward to helping you figure out how therapy can improve your life!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will get to know each other. This will start with you asking me any questions that you feel might make you comfortable. I will then begin by getting a brief overview of how things have been going for you lately and what brings you to therapy. We will then end with a "problem list" of things we want to work on together and what kind of therapeutic approach we want to take.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, the approach I take with my clients is a supportive and non-judgemental stance. I have been told by clients that I am a warm person who makes my clients feel comfortable to talk about just about anything. It is important to me to create a therapeutic relationship with my clients who can see me as a fellow human who has also gone through things and can understand. I think it is important to be an active participant in my clients' treatment instead of sitting back quietly and just taking notes.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients who consider themselves moving from one life stage to another. This includes children becoming teens, teens becoming young adults, and so forth. It is a unique time in our lives when we are faced with new challenges. It can be helpful to have someone there to help you navigate these challenges. This is where I come in! I also enjoy working with clients dealing with anxiety.
