Hi there! My name is Shante and I‘m happy you're here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from the Bay Area and have resided in Las Vegas for 10+ years. My background includes working in trauma-informed care, community mental health, and with Veterans experiencing complex life challenges. These experiences have deepened my belief that healing happens best in spaces where people feel seen, respected, and safe enough to be honest. I strive to create a therapy space that feels grounded, collaborative, and human, while providing a supportive space for women navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is rooted in CBT and mindfulness-informed practices, helping clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping tools and greater self-awareness. Outside of therapy, I enjoy pottery, mindfulness practices, and finding small ways to slow down and stay present throughout the day. I believe healing often happens in the little moments where we learn to reconnect with ourselves with more compassion and intention. -Shante

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions, spend time exploring what brought you to therapy and complete a comprehensive assessment. I may ask questions about what you’ve been experiencing, what’s been feeling difficult or overwhelming, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We may also discuss important parts of your personal history, current stressors, relationships, coping patterns, and goals for treatment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and safe enough to slow down and be honest about what they’re carrying. I strive to create a grounded and welcoming environment where clients can show up fully as themselves without fear of shame or judgment. My journey began with earning my BA in Psychology, followed by my Master’s in Social Work and clinical licensure. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented approach that helps clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change. Clients often describe me as calming, easy to talk to, thoughtful, and deeply present. In addition to my clinical training and experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I continue to deepen my understanding of mindfulness, emotional wellness, and sustainable healing practices both professionally and personally, which continues to shape the way I show up in the therapy space.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with women who are thoughtful, insightful, and ready to reconnect with themselves beyond survival mode. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, identity shifts, emotional overwhelm, or the pressure of constantly holding everything together for others. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both mindfulness-informed practices and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I help clients increase emotional awareness, better understand patterns in their thoughts and behaviors, develop healthier coping tools, strengthen self-compassion, and build more sustainable ways of caring for themselves and moving through life.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness-informed approaches to support clients in slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and developing greater emotional awareness, regulation, and sustainable change. Together, we build practical tools for grounding, self-understanding, and navigating life with greater clarity and intention.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)–informed approaches to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. In my practice, I support clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthier ways of coping, responding, and relating to themselves and others. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and practical, helping clients build insight while also learning tools they can apply in everyday life. I often integrate mindfulness, emotional awareness, and reflection into CBT work so that change feels sustainable, compassionate, and aligned with each client’s values and goals.
