Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and not rushed. I'll ask questions to get to know you, what brings you to therapy, what's been feeling heavy or stuck, and what goals or hopes you might have. There's no pressure to share everything right away; I move at your pace. The first session is about building connection and helping you feel grounded in the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they feel truly seen and supported in our work. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I use a blend of CBT, EMDR, and ego state interventions like parts work to help clients heal at the root. I focus on creating safety, building insight, and offering practical tools; supporting not just symptom relief, but deeper, lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with clients who are ready to explore deeper roots of their anxiety, depression, low self-worth, or trauma. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, feeling stuck in old patterns, or struggling to manage overwhelm and emotional disconnection. They're often introspective, motivated for change, and seeking a space where they can show up authentically and feel truly seen. Whether it's working through generational trauma. dysregulation symptoms, postpartum challenges, or dissociation, I help clients build self-understanding, shift negative beliefs, and move towards a more empowered and grounded version of themselves.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use it to help clients explore their ambivalence, clarify their values, and build intrinsic motivation for change, especially when facing anxiety, depression, trauma, recovery, or life transitions. Motivational Interviewing allows me to meet clients where they are, without judgment, and gently supporting their movement toward goals that feel authentic and sustainable.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using CBT with clients navigating anxiety, depression, low-self esteem, and trauma-related concerns. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build awareness around how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. I tailor CBT interventions to each client's needs, while always maintaining a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach.

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR and use it in my practice to support clients working through trauma, anxiety, dissociation, and deeply held negative beliefs. EMDR allows clients to process distressing experiences in a structured, evidence-based way that promotes healing and reduces emotional reactivity. I integrate EMDR with a strong focus on preparation, stabilization, and resourcing to ensure that clients feel safe and supported throughout the process. I tailor the protocol to meet individual needs, particularly for clients navigating complex trauma, postpartum challenges, or low self-worth, while working at a pace that honors each client's readiness. EMDR has been an impactful tool in helping clients from surviving to thriving.
